Good video paul thanks for sharing that information very well explained pal I have the same gun 🔫 devbliss gti pro lite 1.3 Te10 for base 😀 or the Te20
Hi Paul, that matt black does look really nice as you say it has a velvety look to it with that finish, a lot of matt blacks end up marking so easily then they end up looking like a blackboard🤨 Jordan is a great guy he helped me quite a lot when the Multi-Mix MS first came out then when the HS arrived I tried that as well but sadly when I needed help it wasn't there with no replies to my messages, I asked a question in his group about the new MMC4 UHS again no answer, I was really excited when this was released but now I'm in two minds whether or not to get it🤷♂😟I know I'm just a fred in a shed painter so he has bigger companies to look after so maybe he's to busy🤔
It was just a simple question, the TDS isn't totally clear (excuse the pun😁) if the MMC4 is an airdry clear as it mentions the need for a bake yet I've seen other people say it will so I wanted to be sure it would be fine for my needs (Jordan knows what I do) as it's a one visit clear and a lot of money (he doesn't do a 1.5L kit) so I just said is the MMC4 ok for my needs🤔
@JohnWD40TC02 it could be a small oversite on the tds but to be fair it's probably more of a production clear coat for high volume paint shops where it wont be leftto air dry. But usually a tds will give a bake time and a dry at 20°c (air dry) and they are normally 10hrs depending on hardener. What do you normally do? When I did my helmets at home I used to leave everything overnight regardless of tds.
I normally go through all my panels in sequence (I have 10 wings and 5 tanks) so they all get based and cleared one at a time so they can sometimes sit there for a couple of weeks, maybe the C4 would be ok but I wanted to make sure.
