  • This is my salary and budget for each month as a nurse here in the UK. I tried as much as possible to be exact in amount but it can vary. I am sharing this and my goal which is to be smarter in my finances and to eventually be on F.I.R.E. ( financial independence, retire early)

    Kung plano nyo mag-settle sa UK, better na mag-save kayo for properties here in UK. the more na gumagastos tayo dito sa UK, nagpapadala ng malaki the lesser tayo nakakaipon. Budgeting ng lahat ng expenses dito is very important. Magpadala kung kailangan, pero pinaka importante mag save. Malaking tipid tumira sa sariling bahay kesa magrenta na tumataas kada taon. Pag May extra properties ka dito, kikita ka ng malaki o sobra pa sa monthly mortgage mo. It's better to invest for more properties here Kasi mas malaki kita kesa sa Pinas.

    You are beautiful and smart with finances, your BF is one lucky dude. If I were him, I would marry you right away. I love the way you talk and think. If you are able to go to US, go to US to spread your wings as there are more job opportunities in US for nurses and can make a lot more. US has 50 States to choose from, US has lower taxes and cheaper gas, groceries, clothes, shoes, electronics, appliances, cars and houses too than Europe, you will be able save/invest a lot more IF you choose to work in a small or medium-sized US city, avoiding the high cost of housing in L.A., NYC, and SF.

      @@JoyceLuna You're welcome. A lady as smart as you are has limitless potential. If you can or if there is a way for you to come to US, please do so. People with Type A personality and driven like you will succeed more in US and will be able to achieve FIRE faster in US so you can retire early set for life. The FIRE movement started in US in 1992. It can be done by any motivated individuals such as you. There are many ways to shelter some or most of our income from taxation in US. Pay is higher, taxes are lower and goods are cheaper in US due to economy of scale, some States do not tax income at all like Florida for example. Nurses have great work-life balance in US, most just work 36 hours work per week and that is Full Time, some work more, totally up to the individual as individual perseverance is encouraged and success is celebrated in US. EU is good for Type B people who are content being in middle class all their life and work until 65. Many professionals in US retire in their mid 30s, 40s or 50s by saving/investing 50-70% of their income(it can be done faster in US) and because there is Obamacare now that is subsidized by the govt. You will succeed wherever you are, it just can be done faster in US while working less hours due to higher pay. Good luck!

      @JoyceLuna  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, in a care home it depends on your contract hours. It is computed differently. For me , i have 202 hrs of leave or 5.3 weeks.
