Mark has very quickly become a favourite guitar player of mine not just for his playing ability but how genuine and humble he is as a person. A truly inspirational guitarist and when I learn anything he writes my jaw drops. I just learnt my sacrifice and it is so god dam unique without being so technical. Love your work Mark.
My fav six string gun slinger of all time. I'm an OLD AF metalhead, who loves this guy because he simply able to embody everything my metalhead and heart love about guitar and metal music; as well as being entre to other music I'd not have heard, if not for his ability to spew melody. All that to say, hats off to Mark. Much respect (especially for the professionalism and work ethic).
Mark is an all-time guitar great when it comes to riffs, melody, songwriting, and being an integral part of every project he's ever down. From down tuned metal riffs to singing Sinatra and doing it all well is something you never see.
Mark is the reason I began playing guitar, the reason PRS is my #1, and why I have purchased multiple PRS models including the Tremonti. Great person to be associated with and one hell of a musician, singer and songwriter.
I was contacted by a fan’s family after he passed saying he wanted to have a guitar of his given to me. Little did I know it was an incredible PRS Tremonti Core! I have never gel’d with an electric guitar like I have with this one, and it’s been an honor to carry on Jon’s instrument!
He is one of my all time favorite guitarists. Not just because he's and amazing guitar player, but just based on him being down to earth amazing person, super humble, and his desire to put as much knowledge out there.
Mark Tremonti is the Best! Love his guitar playing and song writing skills. Most of all I like how Humble and Grateful he is. I have toured and you meet a lot of D-bags. And most of them haven't done anything in the music industry. Mark has went diamond. Has Signature guitar and amps. Yet he is the nicest guy. Always has time to talk to his fans. Mark is a Great example for professionals to look too.
Mark is a huge guy, one of my favorite players of all time and also the guy made me a PRS player. Now as a fellow PRS artist, I have the enjoy of supporting him with more love and respect. His collaboration with PRS is so well and the products come out with unique sound, comfort and character is unmatched. I'm very glad to see the MT100, my style and environment doesn't allow me to have one but certainly I would dig that when it's possible. Thank you Mark, Paul, Bev, Travis and lastly, thank you PRS team.
Most underrated guitarist of our time. He is now getting the recognition he deserves. He has been awesome sinve My Own Prison. Every record is aweaome riffs from begining to end. Glad he gets to showcase some of his solos now.
Mark has consistently like a goddamn machine proven himself at each stage of his career surprised and proved everyone wrong. Honestly, with age he's only gotten frighteningly better. I consider him to be one of the greatest melody+riff writers of the past 20 years and this has become which was always present since Creed's debut but never put to the forefront until the seminal Altar Bridge debut came out 20 years ago. Kudos to PRS for seeing the man is generational talent. I adore Mark and I hope the newer generation of guitarists and music fans appreciate an artist who has been unfairly relegated to the negative connotations of Creed. Mark has been an incredible influence on melody writing for me. Much respect. :)
I was fortunate enough to have Mark hand me one of his CUSTOM SE PRS's from the stage in 2019. Looks like the same one he is playing in video. PLAYS amazing!!!
He deserves all the love he is getting. Such a kind person and a musical guy. If i could have a high end guitar, it would probably be that one. Congrats prs.
My opinion : Mark is one of best musician in this planet, He can play anythink, He can play guitar very good with singing too. PRS Guitar has accompanied Him so far and it is perfect to Him. Mark Tremonti is genius musician 🤘🎸
I miss my guitar from the first run of Mark's signature PRS run. Tough time in life forced me to have to sell my favorite guitar over all the years of playing. Happy Mark is still being honored with signature models. Thanks for all the years of inspiration Mark, especially during the hard moment of having to say goodbye to that guitar. ✝️🖤🌈👩🎤
I've never heard a guitarist say their signature is their favorite instrument. That is high praise from an artist I respect that could buy any guitar on the market. My first guitar was a Korean PRS Tremonti and I've bought more guitars since then (Gibson Les Paul and others) and I always go back to my PRS Tremonti. It is so well made and it sounds amazing with the stock pickups. I haven't swapped out anything except the tuners (for locking tuners). When I am in the market to spend a lot of money on my end-game guitar, it will absolutely be a PRS.
I have so many fond memories of Creed and the crew. It makes me sad seeing this and brings back a flood of both dark and hopeful memories at the same time. Thank you Mark and Creed for giving me hope and encouragement! ❤
I am an aging 80’s metalhead who has had his share of shredder Super Strats. I actually still have one. But just before the pandemic hit, i purchased a Tremonti SE for my son. I ended up working from home for several months during Covid and was playing this guitar a lot…..(when I should’ve been working lol) I grew to love it and I ended up getting one for myself and am now a PRS convert. I’m hopeful that one day before I get TOO old, that I can get a USA model. But for now my Tremonti SE suits me fine. Great guitar 👍🏻
Yes, please! I think there was controversy about it, but I'd like to have one too or at least add it to a wish list. Hopefully at least 3 color choices.
I have PRS singlecut from 2001. It's similar to PRS Tremonti with sustain and massive tone. I bought a Fiore now it's also fantastic and different with 11 tones. Love them both.
I have 4 Prs guitars and my SE tremonti is the best one. It feels just right and it absolutely rips. Best guitar ive ever owned hopefully i can get a high end tremonti someday
I just picked up a Macarty 594 SE because I wanted a single cut with a fixed bridge (the SE is not available in a fixed), but a Tremonti SE is definitely next on my list. Been such a huge fan of his since Creed and my biggest influence in picking up guitar.
@@mikeomatic9905 They went through several design changes. Used to have a wrap around bridge with dot inlays, then bird inlays, then it looks like they settled on the bird inlays with the PRS trem. I'm looking at used ones and most of them have the wrap around bridge. I may pick one of those up. I think if you find one with the "Tremonti" 12th fret, it's one of the earliest.
@@Nick-v7b3l I don't think I've seen an SE with a "Tremonti" inlay before. I had one of the fairly early ("pre-lawsuit") ones, I think a 2003. It was the grey sparkle finish with dot inlays. Honestly I really like the look of that one, and kind of wish they'd bring that one back.
I got to do a backstage group lesson with him. I was the last to leave and he stopped and took time to answer some questions I had. Such a good dude with a good heart!
I love the quality of the budget models too. I have the custom version and it's just so solid, sounds awesome, feels great to play. I do wish they sold a stoptail version though.
My #1 has been a Tremonti SE from 2015. I liked the weight, which is lighter than the core model. I havent had a guitar take the top spot and I doubt any will.

Tremonti Hybrid Baritone but tuned to E Standard with medium gauge strings and a pickup swap (Fishman Fluence Classic) is the perfect do everything, desert island guitar for me. I have always avoided signature guitars, and I am not a huge Tremonti fan (appreciate and respect through). But there is nothing else like it on the market (25.5" scale maple neck, wraparound stop tail bridge, single cut mahogany body, 2x volume and tone controls) and I am a PRS fan boy, so I am very thankful to have the option and luxury to make this one exception.
I would LOVE to have one of these guitars but I can't throw out $5G on a guitar. I'm actually hoping I will be able to stumble across a great gently used model at a discount in the near future? Love the specs on this guitar and I love PRS guitars!!!
I've been playing my Tremonti SE since 2002, other than changing the tuners, this guitar has been #1 ever since. Hopefully I could upgrade to the actual signature :)

3:33 Not the case on Higher, he uses neck for a lot of the dirt parts, bridge only for the lead or melodic parts.
