I design and build amps myself so I get it. Think how much a diezel or mesa dual rec costs. Compare those (some which go over 3 grand) to the price of this. It's very affordable for what it is
Mark's music speaks for itself first! Everything he touches turns to gold! Even if I hated him I'd purchase the amp cause it sounds so good, but being a big fan makes it that much easier. Keep the crushing solo albums coming Mark. I think it's you at your best.
I was a die hard believer that the Soldano SLO was the best high gain and versatile amp of all time. After getitng my hands on a MT-100 and sitting down with it, I sold my SLO and immediately bought a MT-100 and it seriously has become my favorite amp of all time. Absolutely phenomenal
There's no way I would have sold my Soldano! That amp stands on its own!!! The Mt 100 is an awesome amp!!! No guilt in owning them both. They both serve their own purpose. Both deserve to stay in the collection, along with the Evh, Vht and Victory amps. All have their own thing going on.
You nailed your favorite amps in one package alright. That much gain on the lead channel at 9 o'clock? Insane. Every channel is unique and has its own character which I think is great. I love a dumblish OD and those blooms are heavenly. Clean is very musical and not sterile. Bravo 👏👏👏
This is what its all about though. Its an amp built by a musician, for other musicians. I know the electrical engineers had a field day with all of this. But its the best sounding rock and roll amp I've heard in the last 30 years since Mesa Boogie. Its a feat of engineering and craftsmanship all sides. Great team work guys!
I've been waiting for this amplifier since the release of the MT15. I'll be buying this amp next year sometime, maybe as a birthday present to myself. Can't wait!
Incredible! Mark is easily my guitar hero, my wife got me a PRS Tremonti SE earlier this year for our 10th Wedding anniversary and I love playing it! I can't wait to hear more from Mark whether that's through his Tremonti work, AlterBridge or anything else I'll be more than happy to listen!
Mark is a monster player..phenomenal writer, singer, song, arranger… and a absolute great guy all around … I can’t wait to get my hands on one of these to try it.
Sounds great! The cleans are very pristine but not sterile. Channel two sounds awesome for the lower gain crunch stuff, and channel 3 rips. It sounded so good when Mark had the gain at 9:00. Can’t wait to try one of these at some point!
Seeing him play this stuff helps me to keep it in perspective because when I compare his abilities to mine, it makes me feel better about not being a very complex guitar player, but more riff oriented.
@robowenmikelsI disagree. Technique doesn't just apply to shred guitar. You use technique to execute chicken picking runs, or jazz chords, slide playing, etc. Get good get at that stuff and you could be a studio musician. Just depends why the person wanted to start playing guitar.
If i start saving now i should be able to buy it for my 50th. Sounds stunning on every channel, and very versatile from blue, to soft rock through to hard rock and Tremonti metal tones.
dang i want one! Mark is a riff master guitar god. i cant think of a single song i dont like from Creed. that is saying something. every channel sounds amazing and very usable for all genres of music.
Kudos to PRS for making such a remarkable Amp, packing it with great tones, and a great feature set. All while keeping it very affordable compared to anything with similar capabilities, I'll be buying one.

Don't take this the wrong way, Mark. I absolutely love my 5881 loaded MT15. But I will wait till the second year of production on the MT100 before I buy. The noise problems the MT15 had/has have never really been fixed. Even though PRS is very aware of it. It's just the luck of the draw whether you get a noisy or quiet MT15, even after years of production. I will wait until I am sure the MT100 does not have any issues. That aside, it does sound really good. I love the bare boned layout and tone based design. This looks like a very good foundation to build tone on.
Aren't they made in entirely different places? I thought they were. If a Chinese guitar had issues I wouldn't then be wary of a guitar made in the USA by the same brand just because an unrelated shop put the same sticker on it.
@CyberneticArgumentCreator , it's not an issue of where it's made. The noise issue with the MT15 is a design flaw. Not a manufacturing defect. And for whatever reason, it doesn't affect all units. My personal MT15 has no issues, but plenty of other examples do.
@@BazonBladeshe means this mt100 is USA made , not Chinese made. What happens in the mt15 is that some parts of the power supply fall below spec. Not picky enough in the Chinese factory . Although I would assume every unit is still going through USA QA right ?
I'm a proud owner of a MT 15 and I can't wait to get my MT 100 Amp and use it with my 2x12 Orange OB Cabinet that has 2 Eminence DV-77 Speakers. Its going to sound great!!

The mt 15 is literally one of my fav amps ever. I use it all the time, regardless of gig. The clean is stunningly great. I can't wait to try the 100!
I love that it's a killer amp, and he wants it to be available to the masses and made sure the price was very affordable. Good on him.
The price is fair. But I would not say affordable.

I had one of their Archon 25 watt 1×12 " combo amps and an Archon 50 head and loved both of them.

Mark I easily one of the best guitarists in the game. His solo stuff and even Alter Bridge has some incredible riffs and solos.

It is made in Indonesia and it says so in the back of the amp. It is the only way to make it affordable.
