@@bwgtiif you knew how much work goes into designing and then building an amp that has 3 channels and a tube driven loop and so on trust me you'd say it's affordable. I design and build amps myself so I get it. Think how much a diezel or mesa dual rec costs. Compare those (some which go over 3 grand) to the price of this. It's very affordable for what it is
You nailed your favorite amps in one package alright. That much gain on the lead channel at 9 o'clock? Insane. Every channel is unique and has its own character which I think is great. I love a dumblish OD and those blooms are heavenly. Clean is very musical and not sterile. Bravo 👏👏👏
Incredible! Mark is easily my guitar hero, my wife got me a PRS Tremonti SE earlier this year for our 10th Wedding anniversary and I love playing it! I can't wait to hear more from Mark whether that's through his Tremonti work, AlterBridge or anything else I'll be more than happy to listen!
This is what its all about though. Its an amp built by a musician, for other musicians. I know the electrical engineers had a field day with all of this. But its the best sounding rock and roll amp I've heard in the last 30 years since Mesa Boogie. Its a feat of engineering and craftsmanship all sides. Great team work guys!
If i start saving now i should be able to buy it for my 50th. Sounds stunning on every channel, and very versatile from blue, to soft rock through to hard rock and Tremonti metal tones.
FINALLY! This amp took wayyyyyyy too long to finally be released. The complete lack of updates over the years was puzzling.... I'll be grabbing it for sure.
Seeing him play this stuff helps me to keep it in perspective because when I compare his abilities to mine, it makes me feel better about not being a very complex guitar player, but more riff oriented.
@robowenmikelsI disagree. Technique doesn't just apply to shred guitar. You use technique to execute chicken picking runs, or jazz chords, slide playing, etc. Get good get at that stuff and you could be a studio musician. Just depends why the person wanted to start playing guitar.
I've been waiting for this amp since I was 16 years old when he said " idk, I could be a possibility I'll have an amp sponsor, we will see" . I'm 36 now. Took him long enough
I was a die hard believer that the Soldano SLO was the best high gain and versatile amp of all time. After getitng my hands on a MT-100 and sitting down with it, I sold my SLO and immediately bought a MT-100 and it seriously has become my favorite amp of all time. Absolutely phenomenal
There's no way I would have sold my Soldano! That amp stands on its own!!! The Mt 100 is an awesome amp!!! No guilt in owning them both. They both serve their own purpose. Both deserve to stay in the collection, along with the Evh, Vht and Victory amps. All have their own thing going on.
Wow! 5 years in the making,he wanted to make sure the amp wasn't a flop when it came out for production, alot of amps have the settings for both channels but this one has individual settings for each channel, impressive
I'm a proud owner of a MT 15 and I can't wait to get my MT 100 Amp and use it with my 2x12 Orange OB Cabinet that has 2 Eminence DV-77 Speakers. Its going to sound great!!
It is like the amp is playing Mark and not the other way around….. how great it that to just lay your fingers on a guitar neck and have the amp do all the work……. Wow…. Perfect
Well this amp sounds SICK as I knew it would! Aesthetically it leaves a little to be desired but I can appreciate that some cost cutting had to be done to keep the price point Mark wanted. Thanks to Mark and the team at PRS for all your work on this beast!
I know the player has a lot to do with the tone, and Mark makes everything sound good, but man that tone is SO good. Channel 2 is my personal favorite from the demo. With a boost I imagine that channel will be enough to play almost anything.
When it comes to tube amps, I like spring reverb with my clean and slightly overdriven tones. Wish it had a tank but that's why I'm holding on to my Peavey Classic 50
Great work man! Sounds awesome! I have the MT 15 and think it’s a great little amp. What will this new one retail for ? $$ and when will it be available?
The Mt-15 was a huge success because sounded amazing, could be super loud and most importantly was affordable. As much as i would love to get the MT100 i’m not willing to spend $2000+ for it. I’m sure it’s a great amp.
I love the Tremonti sound, so this is all good! Love the looks of it too, has kind of an Hi-Fi amp look to it. We all know that the cabinet plays a major role of the sound, so what kind of cab is it paired with?
What speaker would be the best for this Beast?? I would find it hard to believe without a particular Celestion type that Mark loves that PRS would develop a speaker from scratch like the amp for Mark. The amp is important but the speaker and cabinet are critical to how well the artifacts from the amp and pickups and guitar to come through with that clarity. I always wished an amp like this had an IR section to dial in whatever speaker cabinet you love and tune the speaker sound section like a Kemper does… a few knobs in the back just for making any speaker sound the way you hear it… and love.
I'm no tube amp expert, but this Amp sounds great and the price seems like a pretty good value compared to other high gain tube amps I've checked out. Especially with how good it sounds clean
In terms of clean neck humbuckers, Mark's sig is probably one of the best. And there's a good reason Mark is along with mr Carlos Santana the artist that has had a Signature PRS for the longest time (Mark's guitar never left the SE Lineup (even when the models were revised while Santana's SE had a break before being updated) The guy's one heck of an artist. The MT-15 was (still is) impressive, if not for anything just the simple fact that it has 6L6 power tubes set it apart from most amps of that wattage. It's weakest link is likely the noise (Is it the FX Loop?) Will be cool when comparisons between this 100 watt model and the Archon, for example
It sounds awesome ! Can t wait to hear some of the Creed stuff played on this too. Any plan of a 2x12 combo ? And I really like how he is not afraid to talk about other brands like the fender twin, the Mesa… he says he wants the best of these amps he used in the past… he is genuine . I m a huge Metallica fan, but when Kirk , who played Mesa for like 30 years came with a “signature” Randall amp, and then signed with Gibson, when he played with ESP for years and years… can t say otherwise that this is “BS”… really like Mark s attitude.
Sounds amazing! I don’t know a lot about amps - is a speaker required to play with the MT100 or is there one included as well? Just wondering how feasible one would be for my apartment
PRS can feel proud to have MT represent them. Solid player and an even better person.
And having Santana as well ... man good for them.
The mt 15 is literally one of my fav amps ever. I use it all the time, regardless of gig. The clean is stunningly great. I can't wait to try the 100!
Tremonti is one of those guys that makes me want to immediately pick up a guitar to play when I hear him.
Same, and I don't even play guitar, but have always wanted too for about 8 years. One day i'll pick it up and learn, and play Marks riffs!
@@lilPOPjim Do it!
Same
SIMPLY AWESOME! The Tremonti way!🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
I love that it's a killer amp, and he wants it to be available to the masses and made sure the price was very affordable. Good on him.
The price is fair. But I would not say affordable.
@@bwgti That's the thing with signature gear of any sort- they gotta their cut so prices are higher than if it were a non-signature.

Anyone here forgotten that they were watching an amp review and got lost in watching him play??? I did!! 🙋♂️
Huh what did you say??? Lol this dude don't miss!!!!
Sounds amazing. Also straightforward and saves people years of amp knowledge in 1 simple video. The best!
I am seriously considering switching from my triple rectifier to this monster tone of an amp!!!!! Kudos Mark and PRS
Might never put my guitar away and quit playing ever if I had this amp.
Mark is a true gem. What a player!

The gain at 9 is pretty insane, this is one of the best amps I've heard in a long time
Truly one of the best guys in music. As great of a player as he is, hes an even better person.
That my Christmas present from me too me , with love .
Finally! It's here!! Sounding great, too.
The day has come!!! LETS GO!!! 🔥🔥🔥
yessssssssssssssssssssssss... Have the MT15, absolutely ordering the MT100.

This amp can definitely take you higher!
Mark I easily one of the best guitarists in the game. His solo stuff and even Alter Bridge has some incredible riffs and solos.
Absolutely amazing, congratulations, this amp is going to be serving many people very well.
Mark Tremonti is a riff machine. Love hearing him. You know that PRS is amazing. They do not make junk.
I had one of their Archon 25 watt 1×12 " combo amps and an Archon 50 head and loved both of them.
That overdrive channel is GOLD

the overdrive channel in an amp by itself would be soooooo good!
One of the great guitarists that motivated me to learn how to play. Thank you Mark 🙏🏻
Yeahh... One of my favorite guitarist 🤘🤘 PRS MT 100 What a Beast! PRS always made genuine Amps. 🤘🤘

You might wanna see some of his solo stuff before saying that bro haha
This is awesome, looks cool to! I reserved mine!
I got one of the early MT-15's and still cranking out the jams with it...
I've been waiting for this amp since I was 16 years old when he said " idk, I could be a possibility I'll have an amp sponsor, we will see" . I'm 36 now. Took him long enough
Sounds really great!!!
great sounding amp, well done Mark and PRS!

Tremonster. Another one of my heroes.
Looks and sounds awesome.
The only thing that can hurt sales of this amp is that the MT15 is already so damn good and plenty loud. Cheers 🎉
Sweet sounding
That's awesome, can't wait to get mine!
That’s one great sounding amplifier
Love the MT15 it’s my little work horse. Sounds huge for such a little package. May have to now buy its big brother now
Let’s go MARK!!!
❤🤘❤️
Wow! That cranked overdrive channel was beautiful.
Damn, this Overdrive channel is pure rock'n'roll! I hope one day PRS will make a small version of this one channel amp.
Wow! 5 years in the making,he wanted to make sure the amp wasn't a flop when it came out for production, alot of amps have the settings for both channels but this one has individual settings for each channel, impressive

I don't own the mt 15, but at Guitar Center and my local music store, it's the only one I test thru. Now, I have a new goal to get the mt100
This is amazing I hope to have one soon
Well this amp sounds SICK as I knew it would! Aesthetically it leaves a little to be desired but I can appreciate that some cost cutting had to be done to keep the price point Mark wanted. Thanks to Mark and the team at PRS for all your work on this beast!
This is most definitely going on my wishlist.
Finally. 🎉
Epic amp! The iconic Tremonti legato run at the end was the cherry on top 😂
That's a cool looking amp for sure and sounds heavy af. Can't wait to try one. That bloom sweetspot on the od ch pretty sweet btw.
Best amp demo on TH-cam!

Such a rad amp-- sounds amazing.
One of the few artists that I actually would trust they were involved with the product
This amp sounds insane!
When it comes to tube amps, I like spring reverb with my clean and slightly overdriven tones. Wish it had a tank but that's why I'm holding on to my Peavey Classic 50
Fantastic.
That opening riff!!!

It's on pre-sale at Sweetwater for $1,849.
That's the one my friend..daaaam
I’m first on the list at a local shop! They just called!
Tremendous. Just tremendous. 🤘🏻🇺🇸🎸🔥
speachless
I would buy the lunchbox version of this in a heart beat. My MT 15 is my go to amp but it would be perfect with the extra Chanel!
FINALLY! 😛😛😛

Oh Hell YES!!!! I have been Waiting for this. Goodbye MESA. Hello MT100!
¿por que no los dos?
blend them and be a tone god

OMG NO WAY
