my father in law was on pbr-153 does anybody know anyone who was on this boat? i think he was there in 68/69 last name Lindeland he was a diesel mechanic.
I was out in Thailand back in 2005. There were several of them moored at a Marine Police pier in Bangkok. They looked to be in pretty good shape, perhaps even operational.

Did they ever fix the intake fouling issue on those boats, or just adapt to it?

It's a shame you can't relate to Nam genre classic rock by CCR. They're plenty of vids with the sound of the PBR running those diesels.
