I sailed with Scott back in 1987 on the Crowley tug Sea Lion. We were hauling for Sealand from Cordova to Anchorage and Kodiak.He was the Mate then and a good shipmate.Good to see he is still hanging in there. Ram

Strange procedures,no means off shorten the line.
Still the US. This is the biggest tow line. Biggest tug etc.
do you can share Emergency Towing Procedure for harbour tug to me sir?

This package was invented by somebody behind the desk. No seaman with towing experience could prepare such nonsense.

Now at 13:41 the real fun begins. Stowing all the line that they payed out. Lol 😆 lol 😝
And you are going to do all of this in heavy sea conditions....terrible set up
and waste of time.
