    These boards with the all terrain wheels look like a lot of fun, hard wheels do too, but to not worry about pebbles & cracks would be worth the upgrade.

    That's quite the game changer. Now what is the longevity of the wheels. Usually there's a trade off. Like getting stuck and skidding on a stone or a pebble. LOL few years on and off but I was die hard core BMX and freestyle.

      I feel ya there! Hard to say what the lifetime of the wheels will be, and speed and range are about the same as the pneumatic wheels, if that helps any. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻

    What is the comfort level on these vs pnuematics? and vs cloudwheels? THx great vid.

      Dude, they’re actually super comfy. As comfortable as my pneumatics IMHO. The CLOUDWHEEL Rovers are nice too, but I’ve just started riding them. I have some for the Hurricane, but haven’t installed yet as I’m using them on the Exway Atlas. Check the video I did on those too.

    Hi, can someone please tell me if the wheels themselves use standard skateboard bearings (they should have ‘608’ written on them somewhere). The website says that the bearings have a 8mm inner diameter, but I can’t seem to find anything out about the outer diameter. I can’t really tell from any photos online, but they look a little bit bigger. I wish to use them with a kick scooter and standard sized bones ceramic bearings. Thank you so much , I really appreciate it :)

    • @VaporTrailChannel
      @VaporTrailChannel  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I get the confusion. They are in Canada, and sometimes it has a bit of cross translation. They use standard size bearings. Anything for a standard board, like Zealots or Reds, are a perfect fit. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻

    Bro if you had to choose between those and cyclone 165 , what would be your choose as concerns comfort???

    • @VaporTrailChannel
      @VaporTrailChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Being perfectly honest, for comfort, these are hard to beat. But the tread on the cyclones will likely last longer, and they’re probably more comfortable

    I just grabbed a set of these thanks for the suggestion did you use the belts included? I noticed the tension is awfully tight just wondering if thats normal or if i can use a slightly longer belt so i can have a lil bit more slack.

    • @VaporTrailChannel
      @VaporTrailChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      As long as the belt reaches the motor, and the teeth fit into the pulley, you should be fine! They sent me two sets of belts with mine. I used the 335-5mm. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻

    What about raining days?Can I still use it?

    • @VaporTrailChannel
      @VaporTrailChannel  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Some people will ride ESK8's in the rain, but I don't. There's just too much that can go wrong with the ride alone (slippage, etc). But the real big deal is that these boards aren't IP6X protected, and can really only withstand small splashing, etc...then the board has to be completely cleaned and dried immediately after you get back. Bearings, bolts, motors, and electronics/batteries do NOT like to get soaked. My answer is no, but some will tell you go ahead! Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻

    • @VaporTrailChannel
      @VaporTrailChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      My Hurricane took 3 weeks to deliver. It was not the air delivery. These wheels are 6” and the set with pulleys and belts is $199. They took about a week to deliver from Canada. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻

      That's good to hear! I just got an e-skate (longboard) and the thought of going ass-over-tea kettle from a random chunk of gravel on asphalt at high speed is concerning with standard urethane wheels. The added benefit of comfort is very appealing as well. I'd assume the swap is universal for just about any e-(long)board with your standard 90mm PU wheels

    • @VaporTrailChannel
      @VaporTrailChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@b.thompson9176 if your board is a belt drive (and some direct drive) board, yes. If it’s a hub drive board, most likely they won’t be for you. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻

    • @b.thompson9176
      @b.thompson9176 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Right on! It's a belt drive so it looks like we're good to go. I was also concerned about any added strain on the motors given the added diameter of wheels but I suspect that's pretty negligible if I'm not taking off from a stand-still

    • @VaporTrailChannel
      @VaporTrailChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@b.thompson9176 When you buy them you will typically tell them what board you have and they'll send pulleys that are suited for it if what you have already isn't going to be good.

    Poorly made product. I received 4 bents wheels. And now I have to pay to send it back.

    • @VaporTrailChannel
      @VaporTrailChannel  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I saw your post on Facebook groups, and while I appreciate your frustration and concern, I agree with the large percentage who thought the example you showed was closer to "normal" for wheels of this type. I personally love them, even though when spinning the wheels while under no load, they may have a slight wobble to them, most wheels do, and this isn't something to be concerned with. Even my higher end CNC rims have some slight deviation to them. That said, if you aren't happy, certainly return them. Many companies request that you pay for shipping when you want to return an item, so yea...I can see that. Either way, I do appreciate your opinion and that you shared it here. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻

    • @wahwahvince
      @wahwahvince 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@VaporTrailChannel Maybe this slight unbalance and wobble is normal for that type of wheel, but for me it's a no go. I don't understand why no one ever mentioned this before. I keep thinking the set I received is faulty. Otherwise it wouldn't sell. You can't spend this much money and be happy about your board vibrating and wobbling like that. What would be the advantage of a big wheel that is less comfortable than a street one anyway ?

    • @VaporTrailChannel
      @VaporTrailChannel  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@wahwahvince I don't feel any sort of wobble or difference when actually riding on these than I do with the pneumatics that I had on the hurricane previously, and the other board I have them on came with them, so I can't really "compare" those to anything else on that board as I haven't changed them out. I suppose that it's each riders perspective and choice when it comes to wheels. But I personally didn't have any problem with them, and enjoy riding them. I can tell you that the grip definitely improves after riding them for a while and wearing them in...as I also saw you commented on that. If you've ridden any variety of wheels, you'll notice that they all have their strong and weak points. Clearly these wheels weren't for you. I hope you can find something that works great for you and you feel secure with. You may have to look into come custom CNC wheels, but keep in mind that many of those cost upwards of $250-300 just for the "wheels" (aka rims / hubs), and you'll still have potential issues with balance on them. As long as your wheels aren't so off balance that it completely throws you off your board, it's pretty normal to have some variances in "wobble" when you run them without a load on the board. Bottom line is that if they don't work for you, they don't work for you. And that's totally understandable. Also, thank you for being civil and stating your feelings and thoughts on this. Sometimes people get really pumped up and mean when they're discussing things like this on social media. Appreciate you being an adult 🙂
