      haha no im just want to experience debian on my hardware if its not fits on me im not gonna daily driver it, and i installed debian cause of kernel panic on my arch and its pain in the ass, and i made a backup so i dont have to worry redoing anything hehe

    Debian is pretty good as a headless server. I was running it for several years until that machine broke. Now I use Rpi4 and Raspberry Pi OS is basically Debian 11 on ARM

      @@asfter1685 yeah but. Almost aur package based on systemd. That's why I ask. Gentoo and void and others has own package Manager. But artix based on arch so it's use aur package and it's systemd packages .
      Is really artix works great for you?

    Btw the gui installer never worked for me. Netinstall is more stable.

      Netinstall comes with a GUI installer as well as a TUI one.

    I've been wanting to rice debian for months but the issue is
    Vanilla debian: OutDated Kernal
    Kubuntu: (kde on ubuntu) full of bugs literally FULL
    Still waiting for a solution :(

      it is stable and robust, a gold ratio between bleeding edge distros and LTS. Linus using it

      @@mokuken2469 i thought you were going to use debian as a daily driver, cuz vanilla debian sucks on so many aspects and the rest has their own DE, so there isn't one that's specificly made for customization yet, sadly

    I guess my hardware hates Debian, because I've always had troubles with it. For me, I put Red Hat derivatives on everything. Servers, workstation, Raspberry Pi, everything. About to try Fedora with Phosh on a pixel.

      i made installed dwm with xorg but wayland? never tried before also switching to debian is really a nightmare bro 😭 im going to back to arch and make it stable as i can

      @@ujjwalsingh5188 at first using debian i notice that all packages i installed using apt is very outdated so installing a dwm with patch is alot of work to work, because you need some other packages than xorg, xserver, libx11, etc.
      but on other debian based distro that have rolling package release is a good choice than using the original debian
      and also installing arch now is very easy because of "archinstall" tool

    Why you tried Debian, most outdated and stable os. You can try out - void and artix or Gentoo , why you don't tried other distro ?

      im not as in switching to debian and daily driver it, i just switch to experience what is like with the debian on my hardware
      on first experience i think.. i dont know, maybe it will be pain in the azz
      so yeah wish me luck haha
