Anthony Blinken has given Ukraine the go-ahead to use weapons given by the US to strike inside Russia, allowing Ukraine to fight a “deeper” battle, says Major General Chip Chapman.

It's about damn time we took off the ridiculous handcuffs that have held Ukraine back in its defense.
I understand the frustration but IMO two years ago much was different. And it is good strategy to keep a few cards unplayed to make the other side wonder.

If this guy was right once, Ukraine would be parading in red square and Putin in jail.
It shows that the allies are finally accepting that not only is Ukraine accountable to fight honorably, but these other countries are at risk of losing credibility and also already under attack by Russia's disinformation war. It means allies are finally leaving the idea of returning to same as usual with Russia, and accepting Russia is the enemy.

For these are 2 different things:
-allowing them to use american weapons on Russia proper OR
-the general tolerance of domestic ukrainian weapons used to attack Russia.
