I had the same exact problem and could not play my beloved multiplayer for weeks while on leave from my job. Another reason I tried to get as much play time as possible. I had the same issue. After getting rid of my wife and children, my problem was solved. Their constant nagging was creating latency on my spectrum router. 😅 Try that in the future😢

Hey update on this if you click add port assignment again and again you can manually add all the ports on the Xbox and then set it to automatic port on Xbox works great happy gaming

Ray Fixes All helped me with something that Microsoft and spectrum both couldn’t. Went through it all including replacing all of my equipment just for this to be the solution I’ve been looking for. Thank you.

Thanks, as an IT guy, and for all IT people out there, we could have figured it out; ISPs are always updating UIs, same with xbox, and it is always nice to follow along and double check with someone who's made the effort to post a simple video. Good job man.
Thanks my man. My actual download speed increased by 130mbps and upload by 8mbps. As the latency only went down 1ms but still open is a virtue I rather have. As to moderate I rather downgrade to a slower WiFi, but as long as I face no lag on the faster WiFi I’m gonna say thank you times a million. I’ll be subbing.

Out of the past 12 videos I watched bozos wasting time speaking about the problem instead of actually instructing how to solve it, 15 different sites I searched up, and having a 1 minute conversation with spectrum support stating i need to purchase a different modem and router, I salute you my good man!

ya know whats crazy, i was about to do all these steps because i had the same issue and then once i just pressed test nat type it went back to being open without any steps but this video was still a god send

@@Iceypatek could be Cold War, I was having this nat issue on vanguard wasn’t able to play with anyone but my other cods worked fine lol but now I can play vanguard since I port forwarded

You have to pay for advanced Wi-Fi otherwise you have to type in your IP address and use the website

Enabling UPnP/DLNA did it for me. For those who don't know, UPnP and DLNA are basically the same thing.
