Great video. Thanks for making it. I watched it this morning sipping my coffee as a refresher before I started on my own snowblower. You had some great points I had never thought of, like how to remove the 2 square bolts holding the pulley on. It worked like a charm. A couple of points I would like to bring up. More for ease of doing the job for me and preventive maintenance that my friend learned the hard way. 1. For ease of getting off the 6 side bolts that holds the frames together, temporarily remove the tires as it gives you full access to all 6 bolts for easier removal. When I did this I was able to use my impact to remove the 4 bolts and loosen the other 2 quickly. 2. When the complete auger assembly is off, remove the two forward augers off their shafts and apply Neverseize on the shafts. My buddy had the centre gearbox self-destruct (over $200 for a new one) when he hit something because the augers were seized by rust onto the driveshafts not allowing the shear pins to break. In his case we had to beat off the augers by putting the bolts that hold the two forward bearings into place, suspending the whole auger assembly off the ground with one hand and BEATING on the bolt head on the end of the shaft with a 3 lb sledge. When doing mine today they also required to be beaten off and my unit has not been uses that much. I used 180 Emery cloth to remove most of the rust on the shafts and then liberally applied Neverseize on the shaft and reinstalled the augers. I also put Neverseize on the shear pins as they were stuck in place too and had to be beaten out. Figured since I had come this far into the disassembly might as well look and glad I did. 3. When I removed the wheels one was seized onto the shaft. When I got it loose I cleaned up the shafts and also added Neverseize onto these shafts too when I reinstalled them. 4.That was a great suggestion to repaint the inside with a rustproofing paint. Had an used can of Tremclad white lying around and fired for effect not for looks. Again, a great forward, clear video.

I just wanted to comment on how I got my 7020 (same case as 9020) setup with a front fan SUPER easy. I removed cage just like you did, but I added a 120mm standard PC fan, on the inside, lined up against the bottom right corner of case, with a single plastic push-in standoff in the top left corner screw hole, and I custom cut a single hole through that one top deep recessed hole you had to drill out. Plastic is easy to drill into so once you get the right hole placement it holds it secure and does not add vibration or extra noise but TONS of ventilation for a better graphics card. Awesome work BTW!!!

Guys This Method Does Still Work! It Might Keep Coming Up With The 8001d000 error code but after you keep resetting app password it will work 2-3 time round after entering the app password after your email :)

Downloaded gta 4 for old time sake but only had an Xbox for a year so I’ve never had an Xbox 360 account. Grinded for an hour just to lose the lot because it wouldn’t save, this guy ^ saves the day, if you can’t see the app password on the website it’s because you don’t have 2 step turned on, turn it on and the app password should pop up straight away, works for me, fucking legend!!
