  • In this video I walk through RunGap, an app for iphones which allows you to transfer your workout files from your apple watch (or garmin/fitbit) to strava, training peaks, garmin, a fit file, dropbox, etc.

Does this transfer steps as well?
And I know some Garmin badges don count manually entered activities so would this count ands an actual activity or as being entered manually? Thanks!!!!

Does anyone have issues with duplication of workouts in the same app? For example do you have to delete things that have duplicated in Strava, or is the software smart enough to not allow this to happen.

I wanted to change from garmin to apple watch, but don't want to lose years of garmin data. I see there are issues with exporting from apple watch from your other poster? Do you have those issues? Also, do you find it transfers all data from the apple watch, time, mins/hm, HR etc. I like the detail of garmin connect better than the apple health statistics

I keep all of my data in strava and trainingpeaks. This makes it very easy to switch back and forth between any device.

I agree. Strava is great for activities, but we are talking about all the data tracked while NOT in an activity. Does it share that data? That data is super useful too because it shows your full lifestyle.
