I, too, had trouble w/Morimoto license tag lights on my F-150. ABSOLUTELY LUV the XB's...FULL LEDS...They turn night into day. I aimed 'em right...2" down @ 25'.
I have a 2013 EcoBoost f150. I'll tell you a little advice and that's to keep fresh transmission fluid in it at the very minimum every 40,000 miles. Get your transmission lines changed out at the very minimum, every 90,000 mi because they break for no reason other than sloppy for design at the upturn before the transmission cooler. That is a fact. Keep aware of any coolant leaks because the two connections behind each turbo will start leaking. You don't have to pull the body off the frame. You just have to remove the fender liners in order to get at them. It's a little tricky but it can be done. You keep fresh oil in it because of the cam phaser issues and it's a great truck! There's other things but there's tons of videos on TH-cam. It's a great truck!
I don't mean any disrespect here because I always appreciate when people take time out to make videos on vehicles. But for people that have never done this before, why didn't you show everything with removal and then everything with installation? It would have only added 2 minutes to the video and inexperienced people would have appreciated it. One of my young co-workers saw your video and showed it to me and I told him yeah, let me help you out here. Because I work on these trucks every week. Again, I don't mean to be disrespectful. I appreciate you taking the time. But it was very confusing for my co-worker so it's going to be confusing for other inexperienced people even though you feel like you explained it well.
I tried to show what I can and explain what I skipped recording but without the wheel off, it’s hard to fit your hands in there to unbolt the 3 bolts and record at the same time.
Got these because of your review. Perfect upgrade to the tired 13 year old stock ones. Thank you!
Love to hear!

@@ButtersVlogs I get you man. Thanks for the video and I'm sorry that was salty.
ipf is good also
You need to show the installation
I thought I explained it well. It’s just 3 8mm bolts. I showed everything else
3 screws...8mm bolt heads.
Thatsitt!
Are they bright?
Very.. don’t even need headlights lol
Stopped the air flow with that light bar. That’s why the tag is to the side on those ecoboosts, for more air
Been running for 3 years like that. No problem! Still has plenty of airflow and temps stay normal
@@ButtersVlogs never had a problem either 🤣
Light bar is a nice fit. What light bar is that? Is it bright?
@@RocketJ209 thanks! 20” from rough country. Very bright
Why do you need it?
