I have The 2008 Shelby GT. It is an automatic convertible with charcoal interior. From what i have been told and have checked it is 1 0f 40 with it's options. The 319hp it makes is incredible and well worth the trade of two 05 GTs i made. I have had it for two years and have only put 300 miles on it. Strictly a car for shows. i have a replica 1:18 scale in the trunk with window sticker and dealership sticker under it. Car is all original and will stay this way. Amazing car and a real headturner.
@eman2112 hey I have been thinking about doing that to my SGT since i have slight oxidation on my stripes. I just called Ford Racing and they want $900 without installation just for the two stripes along the car! I said no way. How are your painted stripes holding up? And how much did it cost? I'm sure you left the side vinyl Shelby Gt stripes along the side?
@williomare 300 miles in two years is some extreme dedication to keeping the miles low! that's amazing. I only managed 10k in about 17 months for my 07SGT, which is still alot lower than normal and since its my only car lol.
Neat car, but this day an age its al about saftey, reliability and well mpg but at the same time keeping it in the price range while maintaining sportability for most of us who like not to be bored while driving. But as always. this mustang still wont compare to the originals. 1965-1970's
I'm all for clean energy and hybirds FOR OTHER PEOPLE. Lets face it, 95% of the people who drive today are NOT car enthusiast. So build the hybirds and sell them to those people. Me? I rather drive a supercharged V8, V10 or V12 or that beautiful 09 Shelby GT in the video.
im not saying the technical stuff. just your little miss spells here and there. it shouldn't be too hard to fix since you tube added the function of helping you to use correct spelling.
Ford's OHC engines are too big and have way too many moving parts. I like GM's large displacement pushrod engines that manage to perform and provide excellent fuel economy. Chevy SBC are the best bang for your buck.
first off you need to calm down. second off i am neutral when it comes to what you say i am not in nobody side. last but not least if you are going to write in caps and argue to other people you should write in correct grammar.
I own a coupe and its a blast to drive. Love this car
Beautiful Era

It is so sad that apparently we are not going to have these beautiful machines forever ) ,:
Just bought one just like this. Love it!!! It is a 2008 and had only 4800 miles on it!!

I think hydrogen is the only way. But not turning it into electricity like Honda does but burning it normally like BMW does.
My dad has that car

@299Beast299 dont believe so. trust me the 5spd manual is well worth it and much better.

They cut some corners with this car. Cheaply built.
WHAT YEAR IS YOUR SHELBY GT.
Shelby GT's are in the registry. about as "real deal" as u can get.
a Shelby GT/SC will outrun a GT500 but not the GT500 Supersnake.
