    I get my 2024 2up Trixx tomorrow. Can't wait. I'll be looking for how to work the settings and controls videos. Btw never been on a jetski before.

      You are going to love your new machine! Learning to ride a spark is very exponential. Doesn't take much to get a hang of it.

    I gotta Sea Doo GTX Supercharged. Love it for family stuff, pulling tubes and etc. Runs about 67 MPH thing flies. For smaller skis tho and doing tricks and having fun nothing beats the older 2 strokes IMO. I would rather have a 1995-1999 Sea Doo XP any day of the week over the new ones. Nothing beats a x4 hull.

    • @alecaagaard
      @alecaagaard  หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      The big skis work, and when you give them a job like towing the family they do it well unlike these sparks. The x4 hulls were very good, but honestly, as much as I like to work on and tinker with my toys, I absolutely do not want an old two stroke to be my every weekend ride. I want something I change oil on once a year and fill up with fuel before I ride. I own plenty of old two stroke stuff to know that they can be plenty reliable, but adding one of those to my fleet is not easy being those machines are approaching 30+ years of abuse. These sparks are the best news ski you can buy if you want to play on the water, and not stand up.

    You can easily upgrade the ecm and it will do 55 60. I did it. I sent it out to a guy in Canada this was like 4 years ago but I bet he still dose it

      My green 19 in the video has a 120 tune and doesnt get anywhere near 55 let alone 60. You must have some special sauce.

    I have two 24 trix and found so far after 2 hours the speaker quit. Five hours and there is water inside display. Try and trim up lean to the side and hit reverse you can rooster tail reverse donuts. Buy cupholders there nice. And the floorboards filling with water sucks

    I wanted to design mats for it and knee pads, but cant get my hands on that yet. Not a very popular model, despite me having 8000 members in my spark group, only couple of guys with 2024 sparks for now. Other mats are mostly crappy and expensive, I wouldn't even bother, the extent of crappiness of market mats is just crazy. There are also OEM mats for this model available now, if you want to get that, its expensive as well, and probably as basic as others.

    • @alecaagaard
      @alecaagaard  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's a stiff market, a lot of people who are locked into skis from COVID pricing and can't get what they think they are worth. Dealers still aren't coming down as much as we would like, but have a bunch of inventory.
      Back in the good ole days a set of mats from hydro was $90 for a two up. They weren't amazing by any means, but that's ok because it was cheap. Now not so much. I think I'll try seadek next.

    Just got mine. Do you think full throttle is okay during break in as long as it’s not wide open for more than a minute straight? I did a few top speed runs and was a bit hard on it first time out. Hard not to be haha

    • @alecaagaard
      @alecaagaard  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Full throttle is ok, but id keep it minimal until its out of break in. I dont like to hold them wide open for more than 15-20 seconds. Its good to ride them how you normally would, but go easy on the throttle until you reach that 5-10 hour mark.

    You dont need to limit VTS with plastic limiter like that, this is exactly what you said - steering limiter, it limits steering angle.

    • @khalyaqout2670
      @khalyaqout2670 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      So your saying that i should remove the plastic limiter or keep it on?

    • @VladOnEarth
      @VladOnEarth 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @khalyaqout2670 id remove that right away, you will be able to steer to higher limits and do 360s and donuts easier.

    • @alecaagaard
      @alecaagaard  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for watching the video. Good question, There's definitely room for a rope, but probably not a water bottle as well. You could look into a hydration pack, either as a thin back pack or a waist pack.

      You could look into a used machine. If you are interested in sparks, getting a 2017 or newer would be a good machine. Cost about 6-8k depending on condition and hours.

      @@justinconard3290 Your easiest bet is to find someone, or a dealer with a buds connection and see if the machine is storing the check engine code. You can also purchase the buds interface yourself if you don't have a local dealer. There's a thousand combinations of things that could be causing it, like a bad temp sensor, or ground, loose connection or something i'm not thinking of.
