“Freedom is not about having roots. It’s about knowing you can grow anywhere.” - Travis Grossi ….. I’m just gonna text this to myself to remember it forever ❤
Hiya Luv, glad to see you back with your updates. I'm still in Europe and have been a bit sedentary since returning from MX city as my dog was aging. I had to take her to the Vet 12 days ago to say goodbye. She made it to 17 but had dementia and oral cancer. So I'll be hitting the road again in a couple of months. I know it was often hard for you doing this alone. I've done it on and off for 40+ years, even with my young daughter in tow in the beginning. The past 6 yrs various trips and life in 3 countries. A slower pace due to my dog but still enjoying the adventure alone. As I've told you in the past you are bringing content to people who enjoy it. Your Unsubscribe post are also something I enjoy. 👏🏼 Seeing the world through the perspective of another is always valuable. Safe travels and Happy Holidays if we do not hear from you before then. ❤️🧳✈️ April
Travis, you are so good at telling stories. I too have been watching your videos from the beginning days in Mexico and loved your style. Whenever I watched one of your videos, I always wanted more. So here’s to you continuing to tell your stories.
I got so happy to see your face...so please keep the stories coming. I love traveling and I thought I would be doing more of it after I sold everything but wasn't quiet my time to do it full time but I know I will. Thank you Travis for bringing us along and hope we cross paths in our travels xoxo 🤗
“The best stories don’t start with answers. The best stories start with questions.” I can’t believe this video posted just a week before my first solo trip as a widow. I have some of the same questions. Who am I today and tomorrow? How do I live life to the fullest alone, when all my plans were as a couple? What new adventure needs to be part of my new life? I’m headed to CDMX Condesa/Juarez based on videos my hubby and I watched together. I’m going to plant myself at Rojo Bistrot, crying or not, and remember a divine meal we had, when we said we would come back. I’m going to be hopeful about the new year and new life ahead. Many blessings being sent to you this season, Travis!
Ah Carolyn - I’m so glad this video found you and I’m sending you all the love! I’m sure you know this, but please give yourself permission to feel all the feelings and plenty of patience and grace as you walk slowly into this next chapter ❤️❤️❤️
Wholly Cow Travis has it been a whole year already? Todd and I just finished watching this lovely video. It appears traveling agree with you and you have been by travel bug! We are very excited about your journey and will be watching patiently where our little Travis will end up!! Congratulations on finding your joy❤🎉
You are so talented in so many ways. I love watching you share your soul and heart with the world. So glad to know you and be constantly inspired by you.
You’ve just helped push me to start traveling❤. I’ve been wanting to just get up and take roadtrips somewhere, but it’s like I made excuses to not be able to go. But now as Im nearing my 40th birthday, I have an urge to do the things I’ve been putting off. Thanks for sharing.
Oof the end made me tear up! Then I had to watch the whole video again, thank you so much for this 🙏 Your deep introspections are illuminating and thought provoking, especially as someone in the "I wish I could do that [travel full time]!" camp! I remember watching your first video when you returned to TH-cam a year ago; what a journey you've had, it's been amazing to see! 😸 Congratulations on a year of travel and self discovery, and thank you for sharing!! 🎉✨
This video was lovely and you did a great job of articulating how it feels to be a nomadic traveler, whether solo or in a couple. We crave community and that’s something we have to work harder at cultivating and nourishing as we move from place to place. But luckily, we have ways of finding each other - social media does have some merit after all! 😂 And you are actually building community with your videos. Best of luck in all that is ahead!
I love your writing and intro to this and thanks for sharing this. I wish I could do this and maybe one day I can. My goal eventually if all works out is to move back to my wife's home country of Mexico.
Love your story telling and wish you a wonderful 2025. I hope you find contentment with what you have in your life and don’t stress about “finding” something. Your life as you live it is enough if you let it be enough. I do hope that you keep traveling and sharing with us!
What a beautiful and thoughtful video. I have always thought I would want to do what you are doing at some point in my life. I wondered about the feelings of loneliness and you explained it in such a way that makes so much sense.
Great vibes and curious heart! These are the greatest adventures and opens yourself to a world of opportunities, relationships, and that self-love. You have that spirit. Enjoy this flow. It’s a great place to be! Cheers
Hey Travis.. Every so often I see one of your videos. Hadn't seen one for awhile. Enjoyable to hear (and see) you are doing your thing. My wife and I are in the process of moving to Puerto Vallarta. I have asked you questions a few times and always get an informative response. Best to you!...Jack
I've been anxiously waiting for another video from you, and I appreciate your comments about traveling full time. I agree that one of the best things about travelling is meeting new people and hearing their stories, but you don't necessarily need to travel to a faraway country to do so. Any large city will have people from around the world living there, so there are opportunities closer to home to get a sense of what the world is like outside of the United States. I still love to travel though, and there are so many benefits beyond meeting new people in visiting a place outside of your normal comfort zone. Thanks for giving us a window into your life Travis.
Thanks for a great re cap of your year. I was with you all The way albeit from my screen. Best to you in the year ahead and I will be watching for your next chat and more videos. Un abrazo fuerte,,Bill
Love your videos. The quality of your editing is amazing. Please continue to share your experiences and journey. I use your travels as a guide when I visit the places you have been. Thanks for the content.
Awww, this is so charming, especially the parts where you’re fumbling and trying to get back into the groove of speaking in camera. That was really endearing and made me want to give you the best hug. Not done watching yet but I had to say that. Thank you so much Travis for taking us with you, you big cutie pie 💛
Hi T! "Great stories start with questions!", took me immediately to Hamlet... "Who's there?????" Love your stories... don't stop. Much love from SOFLO. XOXOXO! Terry
🙌🏾 You’re back!! 😢Missed you but glad you’re back. The storytelling, messaging and visuals are always 🤌🏾. Hope you have a great and safe holiday and looking forward to where ever you take us next!!
Happy to see this video today. You are an inspiration to me and so many more. In 2025 I will be a remote nomad. , Looking forward to the highs/,lows and everything in between. Let the adventure begin! Thank you!
Hi Travis! So good to see you again....I went back to make sure I didn't miss any videos but it seems it has been a minute. Where is the next adventure?? Safe travels and happy holidays.
Hi Travis, delighted to see your last video. I have been following you since you arrived in Merida. I am also from Los Angeles, but I have live in San Miguel de Allende for the last 12 years. Feel free to contact me if you are ever in San Miguel. Happy holidays.
Hi Travis, when l last saw you, you were traveling with someone in Merida and l was thinking Merida was home for you and your friend traveling together this video today was confusing to me is it old or new? It said one day ago. I was looking for info: to see what you guys were doing in Merida because it was a place of interest for me. Let me know what is going on now because I’m a little worried and confused, you seemed so happy then and now l detect a little melancholy in your spirit. Hope everything is OK if you want you can respond back to me. If not, I understand. God bless you.😊
@ I am so sorry to hear that, you guys seemed so very close l just can’t imagine. Well I guess life goes on. Well keep your head up and keep the faith. Keep on traveling and seeing the world. Glad to see you’re still getting out there meeting people and moving around, if l wasn’t so old l would travel with you. Traveling is good l wish that l had done it when I was young, God Bless you in life and life travels.😉
