I guess for the musical it made sense, but in the myth itself calypso was the child of atlas and has lived through the age of titans, so it doesn't make sense that he only ever knew about ody and hermes voice
Giving Poseidon a "God Move" called "Shatter the Ocean" is so anime, it's crazy. And the animatics completely up the anime feel, they did the same with that one Survive animatic when they animated Odysseus doing Captain Levi's signature spin move from AoT, or Neal Illustrator when they animated Zeus dropping a micro spirit bomb on Odysseus' ship for Thunder Bringer, and pretty all the insanity they animated for God Games (seriously Neal Illustrator's God Games Animatic is Goated, everyone should watch it.)

One thing i noticed in the moments where Ody stabs Poseidon with his trident is that there are long pauses in between.Which makes me think that ody purposely waited for him to heal before he rips out the trident and then repeating …which is terrifying and so damn cold ..
All the prophesies from "No Longer You"'s chourus have come true. -I see a song of past romance (Sirens singing and penelope impersonation) -I see the sacrifice of men (Scyla's 6 torches) -I see portails of betrayal and a brother's final stand (Mutiny) -I see you on the brink of death, I see you draw your final breath, I see a man that gets to make it homr alive but it's no longer you (this is the moment after the raft gets broken at the end of Get in the water and he goes full "Monster" changing completely in 600 strike) The Ithaca Saga will have the bridge the whole "palace covered in red" and "a man who is haunting" bits.
I am happy that Ares had not only been concerned for Athena, but he also helped Odysseus with his Dark Quick Thought. Hence the eyes and Ody venting through all his experiences so vehemently. Althought its also possible it was just the 'power of friendship'.

As beautiful as Not Sorry for Loving You is as a song, I still hate Calypso regardless. I understand the whole loneliness aspect and that she clearly didn’t have any good examples of relationships before she was dumped on her island, no amount of nuance will make me feel sympathy for her. Even in this song she puts the blame and onus on Odysseus, ‘I’m sorry my love was too much for you’ and then not even committing to a half-assed apology by immediately saying ‘I’m not sorry for loving you’. Bruh. I will say though that it’s great writing though. You could totally interpret Calypso as having a childlike infatuation with Odysseus, you could interpret her as manipulative with her using the words of his deceased loved ones in Love in Paradise (which she probably heard from Odysseus talking in his sleep), both interpretations fit with this song, especially when she goes on about being ‘angry and sad’ that Odysseus doesn’t reciprocate her feeling. You can take that as her having a tantrum or bring angry that her manipulations didn’t work.
Imma keep it real the hate for Calypso (although understandable at times) is a TAD bit over the top. Like you would think she's worse the Satan himself with all the hate she gets bro Poseidon literally killed almost his entire crew / was gonna kill Odysseus as well/ hunted him for 10 YEARS / And threatened to kill Ithaca, drown his wife, and gouge out his sons eyes. but everytime HE'S in the conversation all I see is "I'll get in the water daddy" LIKE WHAT!!!???!😰😰😡 I'm just saying, I (imo) think anyone with a working conscience would be able to have SOME level of sympathy for being trapped on an island for 100s of years by yourself, while not condoning that person's actions. Like how Dolores is more hated than Voldemort because while Voldy is much more evil in the grand scheme of things, Dolores hurts the mc in a far more personal level, and I think this may be why Calypso is also hated like this, because her contribution to hurting Ody is more personal or intimate in a way. The only interpretation of Calypso I liked is the one in Rick Riordan's. She's awesome, Leo Valdez, you have a good one.
I wouldn't say anyone is too late to this. It's the concept album. I'd say this is just the beginning! There are so many different directions this could go!
charybdis is Poseidons daughter who was mutated into what we see her now that’s why Poseidon doesn’t go near Scylla because it brings up bad memories of how he lost his daughter or how his daughter was hurt and he couldn’t prevent it

At 25:33 it’s fascinating that stage plays are brought up since there are fans who have come up with concepts with how this could work as a stage play. And they work really well.
I find it fitting that Poseidon is the one that made Ody fully embrace the monster.. sure all the gods and immortals had little hand in it.. Zeus might have pushed the first rock of the edge in the horse and the infant.. but Poseidon the father of monsters is the one that fully made and taught Odysseus how to become the beast he had been holding back and repressing. even Athena had a part in making him the monster he is now in someways by allowing Ares to know what would happen if her former pupil was returned home. Ody is now the monster.😊
16:23 the different beast motif scratches my brain so GOOD right there. It shows that he's both grown as a warrior and as a person. He's learned from what Poseidon has taught him about ruthlessness, and uses it against him. The ending of six hundred strike is my favorite part of the vengeance saga.
To answer the Question on length as of The Vengeance Saga ACCORDING TO ITUNES it is currently 2 HOURS and 1 MINUTE meaning the Ithaca Saga should put it around 2 and a half hours

He actually was with a producer with the first two sagas, but there was some problems with them to where he lost the official EPIC Twitter, Insta and Tiktok pages. He didn't get a dime from them, so he decided to redo the first two sagas and publish them individually. The fanbase has been so supportive of him since day one and he's been supporting his cast too!
This was one of my most anticipated sagas cause of the dangerous song when i heard the snippet i was like i cant wait for it to realease and the last saga i cant wait for either

I think an effective way of translating odysseus drowning is by lighting. If all the lights pointing at the stage are blue (and even have some type of watery effect) its understood that hes underwater. That being said yea for sure if this had to be taken to a stage, theatre or circus or otherwise, a lot would change simply to adapt it to the medium. It IS a concept album after all, the finished products (theatrical production, animated movie/show, videogame, etc) will most likely change a ton of what we have

As beautiful as Not Sorry for Loving You is as a song, I still hate Calypso regardless. I understand the whole loneliness aspect and that she clearly didn’t have any good examples of relationships before she was dumped on her island, no amount of nuance will make me feel sympathy for her. Even in this song she puts the blame and onus on Odysseus, ‘I’m sorry my love was too much for you’ and then not even committing to a half-assed apology by immediately saying ‘I’m not sorry for loving you’. Bruh.
I will say though that it’s great writing though. You could totally interpret Calypso as having a childlike infatuation with Odysseus, you could interpret her as manipulative with her using the words of his deceased loved ones in Love in Paradise (which she probably heard from Odysseus talking in his sleep), both interpretations fit with this song, especially when she goes on about being ‘angry and sad’ that Odysseus doesn’t reciprocate her feeling. You can take that as her having a tantrum or bring angry that her manipulations didn’t work.

While calypso who trapped him on an island for 7 years and was forcing herself on him somehow is supposed to be sympathetic

Like how Dolores is more hated than Voldemort because while Voldy is much more evil in the grand scheme of things, Dolores hurts the mc in a far more personal level, and I think this may be why Calypso is also hated like this, because her contribution to hurting Ody is more personal or intimate in a way.

At 25:33 it’s fascinating that stage plays are brought up since there are fans who have come up with concepts with how this could work as a stage play. And they work really well.
I find it fitting that Poseidon is the one that made Ody fully embrace the monster.. sure all the gods and immortals had little hand in it.. Zeus might have pushed the first rock of the edge in the horse and the infant.. but Poseidon the father of monsters is the one that fully made and taught Odysseus how to become the beast he had been holding back and repressing. even Athena had a part in making him the monster he is now in someways by allowing Ares to know what would happen if her former pupil was returned home.

16:23 the different beast motif scratches my brain so GOOD right there. It shows that he's both grown as a warrior and as a person. He's learned from what Poseidon has taught him about ruthlessness, and uses it against him. The ending of six hundred strike is my favorite part of the vengeance saga.

To answer the Question on length as of The Vengeance Saga ACCORDING TO ITUNES it is currently 2 HOURS and 1 MINUTE meaning the Ithaca Saga should put it around 2 and a half hours

He actually was with a producer with the first two sagas, but there was some problems with them to where he lost the official EPIC Twitter, Insta and Tiktok pages. He didn't get a dime from them, so he decided to redo the first two sagas and publish them individually. The fanbase has been so supportive of him since day one and he's been supporting his cast too!
This was one of my most anticipated sagas cause of the dangerous song when i heard the snippet i was like i cant wait for it to realease and the last saga i cant wait for either

You should watch it, it’s so good.
I think an effective way of translating odysseus drowning is by lighting. If all the lights pointing at the stage are blue (and even have some type of watery effect) its understood that hes underwater. That being said yea for sure if this had to be taken to a stage, theatre or circus or otherwise, a lot would change simply to adapt it to the medium. It IS a concept album after all, the finished products (theatrical production, animated movie/show, videogame, etc) will most likely change a ton of what we have
