Wind Is Your Firewood's Best Friend!

#56. I made a test pile of firewood last winter. I wanted to see how well it would dry uncovered with little sun. Really just relying on the wind to dry it out. In this video we test some of the wood for moisture content and see how well it worked.

Good example of wood drying in shaded conditions. I’m just starting my small firewood hobby. All this info helps. I’m in southwest Pa.
