Metal Totes, Why Did I Wait So Long To Try These!?!

#70. I decided to buy a few metal totes to try out. With the amount of wood I have left to split i am looking for any advantage i can get. Being able to split right into these totes and move them with the tractor really speeds up the whole process. But can the Kubota L3901 lift these? I could not lift the wooden totes i built which are the same spec as these metal ones.

Glad to see you finally took the plunge and moved over to the totes. I often see videos of people struggling with lifting these totes full of wood using compact tractors. I would shorten the totes a bit. Or at least some you want to use just for toting wood around. It won't take much to get it back to a more manageable weight for your tractor. Keep up the great work. You've come a long ways already.

Thanks for the encouragement! Now I just need to make room for the totes. It’s like a never ending battle of organization and process improvement.

maybe a forklift style for the rear of your tractor will work better.

Do u have a set of 3 point forks? I actually made a trailer mover n have removable forks that I use as well I can put one tire on rear for ballast and one on loader. I have a ck2610 kioti

I don’t but I bet that would work better. I saw good works sells them. I have plenty of cinder blocks I can throw in the bucket
