The petronas towers are not actually taller than the Willis Tower, just because the spires surpass the roof, doesn't mean it's taller! If you count the West TV mast on the Willis Tower, it actually extends to 1,730 feet! And the same can be said for the North Tower of the world trade center, if you count the 362 foot TV mast.

Nope. Not the tallest, we still remember the twin towers, the one with the antennae reached 518M high.
I find it so wierd that they considered these towers the tallest buildings in the world when at the time both WTC twin towers and the Sears tower were taller by eye sight.
The World Trade Center Twin Towers were 110 floors each and the Petronas Towers have 88 floors. Yeah Petronas was not the tallest in the world.
