Love it, gonna switch my Q7 Tdi for one of these once I got some kiddies 😅 they're gonna be tall so I might as well prepare for it. Also can't go wrong with diesel efficiency 💯 hopefully gmc makes a diesel hybrid in the future
Recommending it to single guys living alone in the city? What do you recommend a family of 4 living in the suburbs? A Greyhound bus? This is coming to Australia, so I wanted to check it out before it gets here. In Australia, the Toyota Landcruiser is our large 4x4 of choice (the Yukon is 1 meter longer!), people get them as they can also be used off-road, even if they are actually never used off-road. Can this thing be used off-road, or is it a bit too soft and heavy? What is the turning circle like?
Very funny! The turning circle is great in town. These are heavy, and have a road oriented suspension, but with good tires a Yukon can hold its own off road.
This behemoth’s aren’t very good for off-roading. Gravel roads, snow(not super deep), and decommissioned roads are about what I’d do with it. If a Landcruiser is a McLaren 750s then the Yukon would be a Lexus LS 500 F Sport. If that makes sense lol.
Is that a Rolex OP or Explorer that I spy?!? I bought a 2022 1500 with the same motor and love it. Looking to buy one of these for my girlfriend in a year or so for a family vehicle. Great review.
Good eye, it's the new 36mm Explorer 1. I can imagine you get amazing MPG with the Sierra! I'm loving the Duramax Yukon, we need to get more on the road. :)
you talk about the torque of the 3.0 and it having more than the 6.2 and talk about how "fast" it is. yet the 6.2 is significantly faster even with less torque. So kind of a weird observation on your part.
This is hands down one of the best reviews on the 3.0L Duramax in the GM SUVs.
I thought the same thing.
That was a quick and precise and to the point, Review. Well done.

I’ve been trying to order a Yukon xl slt with the 3.0 duramax, with no luck. Great vehicle! Three dealers south of the tc’s laughed at me 😂
just got outs today.
We're not worthy, we're not worthy... Man that thing is a true beauty
Well done!

Engine… motors are electric. It’s like calling a 3135 caliber a quartz movement 😅
NICE
RHD version available?
The 2024 Denali definitely look better than the new refresh in 2025
No visable tailpipe on the Duramax

Actually, it’s rated at 460 torque, not 490.
That was the first 3.0, I own both
