I appreciate you explaining the reasoning behind what you're doing and also going into detail on how some of the mechanics work. Very helpful for new players like me.
I bought mechabellum today thanks to all your streams! I refrained from buying it early because I swore to myself never to buy early access games ever again, but almost broke my rule for this gem of a game!
If anyone is thinking of buying Mechabellum, I spent $30 and have over 350 hours in the game. It is so much fun. Can’t recommend it enough. Worth every penny.
In EA you would go enhancement module and use it for free upgrade on a high cost unit and sell it to make a profit. It was cheaper back then tho and not as many units in the game.
You're totally right on the Chaffe thing, but also it's the name given to the defences planes use to set off incoming missiles etc (chaffe & flares, normally). So, it's a disposable, expendable resource to protect what's most valuable :)
Love that game and started to hate it at the same time when I got somewhere around 1.300 MRR. It's getting more and more frustrating as you keep encountering more and more like-minded guys who run as successful as you. Plus, I sink in TONS of hours per day... This game is dangerously addictive!
going for enhancement module was obviously a mistake, effectively costing 50 supply for the upgrade on a useless fort (and also wasting intensive training). same for going into overlord spam when there were already AA turrets in place.
About half of the highest rated players in this game are streaming, so I don't think stream sniping gives more than a marginal advantage. I guess spending your time thinking is more important.
I hit number 4 in the world on launch before I noticed that fact, I was getting so annoyed about the smurfs and cheaters that were massively outplaying my 1000 mmr lol
I like the concept, but the game quite a few issues that are never resolved in favor of just putting in new stuff. Which is a shame and is a bandaid for the short term while getting stale in the long term. It is a Rubegoldberg machine with to few moving parts. Like how every unit has basically one feasible loadout which greatly reduces variety. A lot of the new units are basically a different visual for the same thing.

I'm yet another one of your followers who tried this game because of you. And by god I love it. Thank you so much Grubster

I bought this game today and it was worth it!
You Mechabellum videos are one of my favorite videos to watch.
So happy i can get my grubby mecha fix again ;)
Mech is out? It's time to face the mechoning. I can't believe this is $10, lol. This is the whey.
Huge W for the chat for introducing this game.
Yay more Mecha. Great readability for streaming.

33:44 isn't chaff the stuff that jets drop to distract incoming missiles? basically decoy... seems like it would fit application in this game.
I was thinking that was what he was gonna say and then he said the wheat thing hahah. I suppose both make sense though.
That's why it's called that, yes
Grubby is correct here, wheat has been around ever since we started farming. Chaff is literally unusable thats why they called peasant levies chaffs.

Cost control spec having strong used units salesman vibes.

Honestly. Just started yesterday. You make it look so easy 😂 but it is actually really hard
I'm interested in playing now, I don't really like early access...but at the same time there are so many games to play...
Great content dude, I'm learning a lot from you :)

How about range scorpion in the first game?
just an idea if you want to hide your microphone, put on the green colored foam.
you think they do a mobile version at some point?
Have you tried survival mode?
Damn, the last two season badges were blatantly ripped off from StarCraft
Nice mobile game...
I'm definitely swapping upgrade to like E or something, U is terrible

stream snipe ...I'd be more worried about the advice you whole stream is giving you.
Yeah. In this game especially because there is time to think and strategize having a commander in chief size staff to advise you is a huge advantage.
@@HalIOfFamer my point
too many cooks. Not enough kitchen
Lower yourself so we only see your face 😁
The more I play the worse I think the game is.
Sad to hear.
Chaff are fragments of aluminum that are released by aircraft to confuse tracking systems.
Literally it is the part of the wheat that cannot be digested and is thus disposed of. Which is what missile countermeasures are also named after.
See I love watching you but I hate that I feel you are cheating with all the advice.
