You ain't never lied about the hurt from Narcissistic abuse brother. It always comes from the people you don'r expect it to come from . I feel like those people take you for granted. I had a narcisist I let go of a few years ago . He was manipilative and just wanted me to be around toxic pople and made ,e feel stupid for letting people go that I knew were no good for me
I'm with you brother, love and blessings to you. I definitely think celibacy/abstinence and not going into a romantic or even physical relationship is such a wise thing for those of us who are healing from narcissistic abuse. We cannot rebuild ourselves and become galvanized spiritually/emotionally when we have distractions. Focus on yourself and get close to God, that is the best general advice I can give. I'm here for you. I see you, you're real.

You will get your peace of mind back. I am still going through what you had a experience. Hopefully one day I will be free but I have three kids as well and they wants to stay with him. He snatched everything from me. So going through very hard time

I’m 4 years divorced from a covert narcissist and my heart always wishes I could have the girl I thought she was back. She didn’t exist. It’s so sad. I’m still struggling.
I finally held my own and went no contact with my ex. Broke down I couldn't leave my place for a week. I haven't had more than four hours sleep in a month but I got there last night. First day back at work in nearly two weeks and he just walks in to say hello to everyone even though he doesn't work there anymore. Whatever he can do to rattle me up. And here I am again.
Healing is a long journey. Always remember to give yourself grace. You’re human! Just remember to keep your no contact! It’s one of the most important steps when healing. Just keep putting in the work. Control what you can control

Doesn’t matter man or woman it hurts more when friends and family don’t understand they just think it was a average relationship but it wasn’t until you’ve been through one you’ll understand . It’s frown upon it seems when a man cries over a woman and it’s sad that some people don’t realize that men love too and have put in a lot of work trying to save a relationship same as women that deal with a toxic man . But you’ll leave with your head spinning like wtf was that I was involved in and how can someone do that and not have a care in the world. So cold blooded . Take care ✌️

I was single for two years after my ex. He was so toxic and did a number on me. I didn't know what gas lighting was until later. Wish I had known while I was in it!!!! I would have left sooner. Stupid f-ck made me feel crazy so many times. I wondered how could I be so wrong when I wasn't even sure that I did anything wrong. He would put me on a pedestal then tear me to shreds. It was awful.
