Yergy!!! im finally coming down to get bangs !!! Im also wanting to change my virgin brown hair with some blended grey-ish silvery highlights to let the naturally occurring greys blend a bit better lol cant take it anymore.. maybe ill eventually do a grey wash all the way through but i think this is a good place to start.. exciting!! It’s so bleak that its happening in every single country, every where kids are hurting and in pain and being abused. all around us probably more than social services could ever handle to be able to have a grip on. Too many dispassionate people working w such vulnerable people. It’s all just awful to sit with . It’s so unfair

The department of children and families since its creation family structures have gone hill. Just like the education system before we had a department of education our schools were far better the government pretty much ruins everything it tries to stick it's nose in
They face no repercussions. There's no risk to them.
Cps finds out mom or dad smokes weed, they tear the family apart and the parents have to go through hell to get their children back. But a kid that is beat so bad she looked like a concentration camp prisoner, then thats ok. Case closed. It makes me SICK.

That's usually the story. Parents who are doing their best and the smallest thing happens get an intensive investigation opened on them but the kids who need saving don't get a second glance. It doesn't make sense! 🤬

Social services is so egotistical. They only seem to wanna take away a child from a good home, bc it gives them power. They don't bother when a child is actually being abused.

This is absolutely accurate. I’ve seen it first hand from the other side. A good loving mother being harassed while an addict who lived in the dark and begged for food from her neighbours was left alone despite multiple calls and welfare checks.
Not even joking, I thought it horrendous and this was 20 years ago. Must be much worse now. In fact, all these years later, I think they exist to predominantly traffic children now. When you see it with your own eyes first hand, you can’t unsee it.

Indigenous teens in Northern Ontario Canada have to fly hundreds of km's from home alone to attend school because our govt refuses to give them equality in education and build them schools. They're being murdered in Thunder Bay ontario as the entire community/city and police force is racist toward them. It opened a huge investigation into the police. Nothing has changed as they refuse to follow the orders,and recommendations of the investigations and inquests. Oh Thunder Bay is built on their stolen land and they just won a major court battle and the federal and provincial govts have to pay the northern Ontario indigenous billions of dollars for breaking the treaties and stealing their lands and resources.

There was a law and order episode like that. These two siblings were taken from a village in Africa, where sm ugglers promised their mother the children would get a better life in the US.
My mother used to abuse me in this way, too. She would tie me to the bed and put socks in my mouth while she beat me for hours. Then I would miss weeks of school so the bruises could heal. She would lie to family members about where I was.DCFS was called once, and their only concern was that i had a bed and that there was food in the home. This went on for years. The last time it happened, I was 14. I showed a friend my bruises and she went to her gym teacher. My entire body was bruised. I had two black eyes and bite marks all down the back of my legs. At that point, I was taken out of her home. Only to be put back two years later. It was terrible. I'm just happy I was able to keep my life. If she was able to get away with murdering me, I believe she would have tried.

I am doing great. I have six children and love on them all of the time. I can't imagine putting my kids through what I went through. My mother and I do not talk. I wanted to have a relationship with her, but she won't talk to me because I wanted to talk to her about how I felt.

My daughter broke her arm at the playground 2 years ago when she was 7, and when she was brought to the emegency, I was grilled by social services and several of the doctors. Also, social workers questioned her (without me being present) on two separate occasions, and my 5 year old (her sister who was there when it happened) was also questioned without me being there just to make sure I wasn't the one who broke her arm, I guess.
How the guardians in these videos are able to get away with blatant abuse is completely beyond me.
That was 20 years ago, maybe things are changing for better

Believe me, child services is just as wicked as those who beat their kids. I have seen it first hand.
There might be a very few who try to help but they are easily shoved aside or threatened with their jobs.

Reminds me of a story from the 1800s about this horrid woman who ran a baby farm. She would convince unwed mothers that she would find a good home for their bastard children, only to let them all starve to death.
I’m not sure the parents were that loving if they approved her going to another country with almost a total stranger.

I remember. The photos of her smiling brightly despite being covered in injuries are horrifying. So many people failed that poor, sweet child.
Exactly, just by seeing her photos where she’s always smiling, one can tell she was a very sweet girl. Reminds me of Gabriel Fernandez where in his last school photo for Mother’s Day where he had visible injuries, yet continued to smile and made the Mother’s Day card for his mom even though she and her boyfriend abused him a lot, until he eventually was killed.

This is the case for most parents as well. It means they sacrifice their pride and know they will get in trouble. Sick! Most of the abused children's cases have family who would have loved to take them.
I expect she wanted absolute power over someone vulnerable, and planned everything ahead of time.

This story ENRAGE me! The truth about social services is that it is a business that is heavily funded by the government. So what happens is a bunch of adults who don't gaf, and children who unfortunately suffer, sometimes fatally!
I was severely abused by my mother & put into a foster home back when that rarely happened. About 6 months after I told them who was beating me I was given back to my mother & it was worse than ever. I left home at 15 & had 2 jobs, an at & roommate.
I don't want to discourage any child from reporting abuse but know you can recover & if you tell people you'd be surprised how many people will help you & give you jobs so you can be free from abuse.
Im sorry you had to grow up fast...this type of abuse was deadly though. I ran away at 16 and never looked back. I never had stability til recently....like 6 months ago recently. I am 33 now. It's been a long road.

She was powerless in her own life, which is why she beat this baby the way she did. Victoria, was the only thing she felt she had power over, so she abused it. Its the same story every time. Hurt people, hurt people.

This little girl was so bright & absolutely gorgeous. I’ve never seen such a naturally beautiful child. I remember hearing about this case for the first time about 5-6 years ago. I just can’t imagine how her parents must feel. It’s so sad, thinking they were doing the right thing. I don’t care how much money or opportunity was ever offered. We could be literally starving…. I would never let my child stay with someone else. If for no other reason that I would be afraid they wouldn’t feel loved by me. “Why did they send me away?” How many times did that poor, sweet child ask herself that?

This is heartbreaking. Not only did she not really understand what was going on in the world around her so she couldn’t ask for help, but she had to face this all alone. I hope she knows those women did all they could to help her. And by them showing her some kind of compassion that she felt a bit better.

How scared and confused Victoria must of been. Imagine- taken from your parents, siblings and home country. Then moving countries and being abused horrifically. Victoria must of been so lonely, so sad and in so much pain mentally and of course physically. My heart breaks for this little angel. Why are kids with repeated abuse ignored yet a child with 1 childhood injury due to normal play and fall investigated even taken away for no reason? Child service workers arent trained proper and drs should be charged or sued with malpractice.
Financial incentives. Children that are genuinely traumatised are hard to place. So they take the ones from decent homes. My friends a family law solicitor and I've heard some serious horror stories. People say no smoke without fire. It only takes one malicious report, or misunderstanding. I'm blessed that I haven't had to deal with social services. My son would be hard to place though as he has additional needs. Although he's also classed as a gifted child.
@@Delilahcubbington That's not too uncommon. I'm learning disabled (autism and ADHD), but I was considered gifted. Just make sure you stick up for him at school. Gifted kids are all too often given an overload of schoolwork and homework, especially in high school.

@@Delilahcubbington my son is severely low functioning nonverbal autistic with global developmental delays and severe self injurious behaviours he didn't have as a young child. It's due to being in a group home for dual diagnosis teens and adults. They can be verbally abusive and physically but govt doesn't care. I'm the one who kept calling our Children's Aid on specific people hurting my child. They'd close the case as I was a great mom. Eventually they took action against the other person. I thought by putting my son on the list for the funding and care homes he'd be safe and cared for as I have lupus and raised him alone. He was until this last place. My fight isn't over. He's pushing 30. Ontario canada and our premier admitted on TV he hates autistic people and cut funding for autism. I met with him over this,he did nothing .Police can't as the Crown attorney won't pursue it. No children's aid for people considered adults being abused even if they're cognitively children,nonverbal and in care homes.

Majority of case worker mistakes is: talking to the child while abuser is in the same room. Making the child scared of telling the truth in front of their abuser.

Usually, there's a policy against that because children can give coached answers and if someone allows this they should be fired because that's unacceptable and they should have been informed of it, it's disgusting that CPS would rather play by their "rules" of reuniting families and should think of the children and what's best for them

I was fostered from baby to 9 years old and not once did I see a social worker .There was 1 meeting arranged and they didn’t turn up .As adults we all need to do more for these poor children RIP Victoria

Every time I see these cases and see the pictures of these babies, I can't even comprehend what they looked like in these horrible moments. How you wouldn't want to treasure a smiling kid is beyond crazy to me. Letting them sleep in their waste - no child could do anything warranting that, at least to me. It's heartbreaking because they never get the chance to live a long life.

I used to be a Christian and while I had many questions about "God and Jesus" it was the question about crimes involving children that I could not and will not ever understand. You are wrong. I used to live in the UK when her story came out. It was all over the news for months and months. The UK media kept mentioning her on a regularly basis for until I left London in 2010.
The uproar regarding what she went through shook the nation.
People wanted justice. The enquiry about the failure to help and save Victoria was the most expensive the UK has ever known.

As heartbreaking as it is, I watch every case you cover because I appreciate the dignity you give to the victims when telling their stories.

Exactly how did they deserve any praise for giving her clean sheets? Seriously wtf? They see a flap of skin hanging from her face and tell her abuser she can't stay and has to be picked up tomorrow? Guarantee if she hadn't deteriorated during the night they would have never contacted anyone.
They did take her to hospital, and some stupid doctor dismissed it as scabies and let her go back to be abused more.
@@squirrelmanning7889they didn’t take her because of the injuries to the face or the scalp which should’ve screamed HOSPITAL/emergency services but they took her after seeing MORE damage to her body.
@Renee-vj6tg They did take her to the hospital, though... they were there all night. The Dr examined her from head to toe, which took over 2 hours alone... (It's about halfway through the video...)

It is... incredibly disheartening to have confirmation that social services in other countries can be as dismissive and tragically ineffective as ours.

This is the most horrific case of child abuse I have ever heard. This poor girl went through hell by a piece of trash that just wanted to abuse and torture her. I pray this thing gets everything she deserves and rots in hell. May this little girl rest in peace in arms of the lord. I hate this for her parents may they find peace someday.
They all seem to be like the worst cases we ever heard but one case that outright sticks with me is the black woman who started dating some white guy I believe they were from Texas who allowed the white guy to beat her son to death left the child in the room dead moved out of the apartment and left the other three children p they are the oldest being only like 14 this lady would come and bring them snacks and food once a month whenever the white guy boyfriend came with her he would abuse them he broke the artistic boy's jaw left him in pain mean while there's a dead body in the back room that is reaping with odor installed and confused probably with maggots by the time the police were finally called months later almost a year the body was a complete skeleton covered by a that was the worst case I had ever heard you can look it up black lady and white guy from Texas that abuses children and should come up on TH-cam

I’ve seen several documentaries on this case…I still can’t believe they allowed that angel to go back to those demons. It always sticks with me that the guy said that no matter what he did to Victoria she never cried 😢. Victoria was an extremely strong girl. The world didn’t deserve her.

as someone who’s not a doctor but has seen both scabies and cigarette burns in person, they look absolutely nothing alike. a doctor who’s in the same room looking at a child should DEFINITELY be able to tell what they are. i’m not done with the video yet but i’m sure there aren’t enough words to express my sympathy for what this beautiful little girl went through. she should still be here and with people who love her.

Parents please recognize that the love and support you give your children by far outweigh anything physical or financial anyone else can provide. It kills me when I hear good parents being manipulated into believing that someone else providing their children with money, will foster a better life for them. The selflessness to give up your child in hopes for their future shows what amazing parents these were. Your children would rather be poor with you than rich with someone else. I am speaking from first hand experience. Sending so much strength and love to this family.

I watch things like this to make sure no matter how mad I get at my child I will always walk out of the house, take a walk or take a shower but never beat on my kids. Kids will make even the strongest parent upset but watching things like this makes me love on my kids even more.
I hope that Dr was fired and charged with child neglect.
