    She did not broadcast to the nation "I think Chinese officials are very rude" - she was just having a quiet conversation with a policewoman who was describing her experience of the attitude of Chinese officials - and all the queen said in response was "they were very rude to the ambassador". She may be the queen but she is also human, and I don't see how people can expect her not to feel offended by blatant rudeness just like anyone else would (even if we don't have people hovering around us secretly recording everything we say).

      @Trevor lmao if the chinese are rude to you, then you as a person must be pretty fked up. met some really nice and friendly (quite sociable) chinese people over the years, some of whom i’ve become personal friends with. and why are u so fed up about the chinese empire? it’s not like they colonized the majority of the world

      @Trevor I agree. Never been to China. But worked at a Chinese-Owned and mostly Chinese staffed construction company in Calgary, AB For over a year. Complete lack of consideration for anyone but themselves. Not to mention the safety was absolutely abysmal (large factor in why I quit) It was about finishing the job, no matter what was in the way. House wasn’t ready for our work for another 2 weeks? Do it anyways, the other trades can work around our stuff. Door is locked? Don’t wait for the site super, just kick it down and get in there. They took absolutely no pride in their work, people would call them “hard workers” I would just say they’re long workers. Do a half assed job and drag it out to get overtime pay while barely having to break a sweat. I really tried to have an open mind when I worked there and understand them but I just couldn’t. The culture is; for lack of a better term, disgusting and incompatible. Working there really soured my view of Chinese people. I’ve found it hard to try and keep and open mind and be neutral when seeing Chinese tradespeople at my current company which does good work and doesn’t have an awful work culture.

      @@tianwong7168 From my experience, being a slight inconvenience to a Chinese person (at least in Canada) means they will be rude to you and almost completely unwilling to compromise with you. Not to mention Chinese tourists are the only ones who will take pictures of me because my hair is red. I don’t see African, West Asian, or South/Central Americans wildly taking photos of me because I look different to them lol. ^ read my above reply. I really wanted to like and embrace Chinese culture, but Mao, his genocide, and the CCP have generally made Chinese people very cold, racist, and stubborn. Also, on your empire comment: I don’t see any Chinese colonies, i just see conquered neighbours and a genocide against Muslims. Remember who was your puppet master for 200 years 😉 hope you were paid well for this comment, I’ve heard the CCP does an alright job paying westerners.

      I remember an incident when after one of his public performances that he did for no reason, his second wife mentioned a mistake he had made, and the comment made him so angry that in rage he kicked her to death. A while later he saw a man at his royal residence who resembled his wife and he told his officials to have him castrated to change him into a woman. Well he later started sleeping with him which makes him bat shit crazy.

      @@vijaysandeep5340 well, you don't think. The Chinese govt has its own definition of criminals including what they believe someone endangers their regime without clear guidelines simply under their discretion. Kidnapping a bookstore manager in Thailand, kidnapping a big corp and mutual fund manager in the four season hotel in HK then sent back to mainland then make a video of them admitting they committed crimes in front of the television. They couldn't even hire their own lawyer there. There are many others disappeared in foreign countries and suddenly on the television admitting all crimes they committed (if they really did) they are not running common law there. If they say you are a criminal, there is no need to collect evidence by an independent authority to show that you really committed a crime, because they are assumption based enforcement not fact based enforcement. If you have a clear political view such as you are pro-ccp, you often get a reduction on penalties and jail time if same crime is committed by different people. I have seen a lot in the past few years. Simply absurd especially I have been living in common law cities my entire life never need to worry about what I support, what I dislike, what I am against. I don't need to go to jail in the west if I say something bad about the govt. However, ppl gotta be careful about what they say in HK these days. Even if you make an implication and someone with power believe you endanger the society, you go to jail for years like the most recent case about a story of a group of sheep in the farm which is only a story. • @TPerm-hj4sf
      @TPerm-hj4sf 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Plato Do you understand the concept of generalisation? I think every time when you see a rude person or a rude incidence, as an individual and under the freedom of speech you are entitled to point it out, one person at a time and one incidence at a time, being specific being accurate, there is nothing wrong with that. But when you broad brush and associate behaviour with whatever cut or classification you come up with, based on your limited experience, then you are bound to hurt and being unfair to a lot of innocent people of the charge, which is probably your true intention. The Queen is well educated, knowledgable and well aware of the influence of her every move. I truly believe she was being very specific on some rude behaviour of some Chinese government officials(probably no more rude than Donald J Trump). I also believe there are a lot rude bigots attempting to utilise her majesty's influence to assert their own dirty racist agenda.
