Hii there, I'm on this channel for the first time. To be honest I'm from a different bubble of gamers and haven't heard of any of these games besides NieR: Automata and Undertale, which I never had a chance to play, but wanted to. (You)r channel seems pretty charming, maybe I will stay here for longer. If you are interested here's my list of games that stole my heart: 1. "Crusader Kings 2" - it's a grand strategy game, where we play as a medieval dynasty, precisely as a ruler (king or other rank). That game completely changed my life and rewired my brain. I've become a dreamer thinking about "Big Picture". 2. "Rimworld" - It's a great game about making a colony on a different planet, with extensive colonists' skills and social interactions. Excellent game for Roleplay. 3. "Vintage Story" - 4 words "Minecraft for Grown-Ups", despite my love for Minecraft in this game I can really feel like a Stone Age caveman or later go to Bronze/Iron Age. Unforgiving Survival. 10/10 game. 4. Lastly, Honorable Mentions "Rayman: Origins" and "LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars" both games were my childhood games where I spent countless hours of fun.
Hi, thank you so much ✨ I can see what you mean by different bubble, in fact I did not play a single game you put in your list. That's interesting and will definitely take some inputs for next titles. I know a bit about Crusader Kings and Rayman though. I'm currently playing Valheim and I like it a lot, I wonder if Vintage Story is anything like that. I really appreciate you took time to go so much in details, thank you 🫶
@ennedes If you like Valheim, I think you would Love Vintage Story, they are similar to each other, but Vintage Story has its own very mysterious lore, loosely based on Lovecraft, and instead of kinda smooth and realistic terrain, there are cubes/voxels that give even more freedom in building houses or modifying landscape. Vintage Story is also very challenging but rewarding. I still remember my excitement after making my first copper tool after hours of gameplay. Knapping (or Splitting stone idk how to call it) Pottery, and Smithing mechanics are unlike any other game. There is so much content in this game and tons of mods so I can't describe it all without writing an essay. I love this game so much! When it comes to other games, Rimworld is also worth a try, I haven't seen any game like Rimworld. And I think Rayman: Origins is probably a must-play for everyone.
@@ennedes Oh, and I nearly forgot. When it comes to Crusader Kings 2, I don't know if you would like it, but it's worth a try since it's been free to play for about 5 years. It was tied to the premiere of its successor, Crusader Kings 3, but I never played it cause I'm so attached to CK2.
@@ThunderKristof66 Vintage Story seems incredible and I think I'll like it a lot. Rayman is in my last along other older games but I struggle to play them because new games keep coming out eheh. I bought the new metroids on day one but I didn't even start one of them yet. So many games so little time! Good to know CR2 is free to play though, definitely a plus.
I mean at this point this may seem like a overhyped comment but maybe try Kingdom Hearts, if you can feel with characters you will surely shed at least some tears.
Kingdom Hearts is surely a title I need to go back to. I only played the games for DS and the demo of the 3. I loved 358/2 days. Thank you for the suggestion (:
@ennedes I can recommend the collections to you. Hope you don't mind wonky controlls for the first one but man I just love the story. Behind that kidfriendly Disney Story is such a nice and dark Final Fantasy Story and I just love it so much. Been playing since I was a little kid. I know so much about this series and love it to this day. I do a playthrough every year of all games.
I don't mind at all, seems worthy. I plan on playing Metaphor and Persona 3 after I finish the 5 and then probably could be a good moment to start Kingdom Hearts. Should I play them in order?
@ennedes Yes just play them in the order they are in the collections otherwise it causes more confusion than it should. 2 of the games are made into a movie like cutscene collage and the rest is playable. If you have trouble with Chain of Memories you can watch a story sumup because it is important in the story. Just enjoy the game when you get to it and try to have fun, oh and pack some tissues if you get the feels for some characters.
Hollow Knight is on the on-going list, didn't finish it yet. Ori and the Blind Forest it's on wishlist since forever, I forgot! Definitely wanna try it! Thank you (:

Actually no, I've played them some afternoon with friends but never got into them for real. Should I?

you can give hollow knight and ori and the blind forest a try
Hollow Knight is on the on-going list, didn't finish it yet.
Ori and the Blind Forest it's on wishlist since forever, I forgot! Definitely wanna try it! Thank you (:
i agree with the hollow knight part
tho i find it difficult to love kinda
the game focuses 98% on gameplay and it's stupidly difficult imo
I love your accent, but i cant tell what it is?
I'm Italian 🙃
@ennedes ohh, also have you played Nier Replicant? I personally loved it just as much as Automata
@@Owen2590 Oh! Thanks for reminding me! No I didn't, but it's in my wishlist eheh
