One of the things I love about your videos is you are super clear and concise. This is another great tutorial. I love the look you achieved with the whitewash. Looking forward to your next video. Thank you so much Stefani!
Looks like a beach house ❤
Wow, Stefani, I bet your neck and shoulders were burning. Working on a project, overhead, is never a good cup of tea. Your dream workshop is beautiful and your passion and patience is amazing. Thank you for sharing your work!!
I love the whitewash! Looks great! Plus, now you'll always have the scaffolding for future projects!
Looks wonderful!! Well done 👏
Looks absolutely awesome great job enjoyed watching
I love the whitewash - it looks terrific. Nice job Stefani!
I wasn't sure I was going to like the whitewash effect, but it looks really bright and clean. It's going to make your shop really light and pleasant space to work in.
At least, you bought a rolling scaffolding, good choise, you won't regret it, so safety... ,👍👏 Btw as usual good job Stefani !!
Okay, I felt like I needed a Tylenol for my arms after watching you doing all of that painting. Fantastic job, girl. Thanks for sharing. 👍🏼👍🏼
You do amazing work. Love your style. How high are your ceilings at the highest point? I’d like to get an idea if that scaffold will be high enough for my ceiling. Thank you so much!
Stefani - Another excellent video, as always! Got me leaning towards T & G bead board for my shop, just need to figure out VERY light natural finish vs white wash 🤔
Yours is probably best for lighting efficiency ..... Also glad to see you got your own scaffold, you'll use it more than you know. Take care 🍻🫡
This is so helpful!! I have one wall in my kitchen with this exact wood. A friend used nail filler on the nails to cover them up, so hoping this technique will work to cover the blotchiness.
Awesome job! Looks great
Great video. How does the ceiling look after one year? Have you had to touch up an areas due to the yellowing of pine?
I recently did my kitchen ceiling with the same boards and technique prior to finding your video. I made the mistake of going lite on some and heavier on others i didn't wipe it fast enough.
Can you give me any tips how to even it out now that its hung up? Can i still wipe the heavier areas of white with water to match the lighter ones? Really could use your advise thank you
This is so helpful! :)
Your ceiling looks great. I was going to paint it total white but didn’t like how test pieces looked because it takes away all the look of the wood. I’ve procrastinated on doing anything because I didn’t know what to do. It’s been up for a year or more and has darkened a little. Has your’s darkened after whitewashing?
Looks great....yes my arms neck and back would be killing me....and that is even before i mix the paint.....😂😂😂
Possible crazy question, but should you sand the boards prior to applying the whitewash? I imagine 220 would be overkill.
I'm facing a big project. I bought a cabin and the boards on the ceiling are already sealed. Will this effect still work?
I would think white primer paint do the same
This isn't really whitewash. It's whitewash effect maybe. Whitewashing is done with paint with lime compound and is natural, non toxic and antimicrobial.
Can't believe you covered over the real wood. Something clear would have been my choice but of course, it's not my ceiling. You could have just thrown up drywall and painted it.
She didn't cover it, silly. She whitewashed it.
She covered the natural color of the wood silly. Maybe you're not familiar with the word "covered"? How about "changed"? Does that work better for you. I'm sure she's impressed you've defended her. Not needed..
@@duathlete827So you clicked on a video about whitewashing a wood ceiling so you could criticise the content creator for whitewashing her ceiling??
