Does this guy realize that "Muslim" and a "race" are two different words? Racism applies to a race, not a religion. Its a choice to convert to Islam, but Islam itself is not something "genetic"- aka not a race.

      rac·ism
      ˈrāˌsizəm
      noun
the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.

Some folks from the Quillam Foundation would be better.
Ashgar seems to be some sort of pan-Islamist. He has this fantasy that the Muslim world was a united entity before the 19th and 20th centuries. Like some sort of earthly paradise for Muslims (but hell for the dhimmis/infidels/non-muslims who were there first). This guy only cements the worst fears of those who don't know much about the religion.

    • @iSk00L
      @iSk00L 10 ปีที่แล้ว +3

switchbladefights82 I disagree. I don't think the guys from Quilliam Foundation would be *representative* of the Islamic world view. If I'm not mistaken, they are an antiterrorism think-tank, so would be at odds with what many Muslims feel about this whole issue of cartoons depicting Muhammad. Being *more palatable does not qualify one as being a "better" participant to a debate* - rather I would argue that this clown Bukhari may be more representative of the views held by many. Also note that the founder of the Quilliam Foundation has been called an "apostate" and subject to death threats from his "fellow" Muslims.

The man is saying that to publish Muhamad is so racist as to publish a “black person in a zoo like an animal”; but, for example sake, Idi Amin Dada was an Ugandan dictator and it happens he was black; he was a very, very bad person and could easily be draw in a cartoon as a dangerous animal in a zoo. In this video particular case, Muhamad is a muslin, he is not all muslins. Or would the Ugandans think the cartoonist meant all of them when draw the hypothetical cartoon? Certainly not. It is a critic to a particular person, and if it is particular, it is not aimed to all race, so it cannot be racist.

This Muslim in the studio has made a blunder -- saying these picture strips is "Racist" and then comparing it to one of most cruel period in recent history - that of the segregation of the black people because of their skin colour is a ludicrous comparison. First of all Islam is not a race, it is a religion. Do not mix those categories up. Second, it is the right of all humans to have both freedom of religion and speech, and to express their view on all matters (including Islam) in what ever manner they choose. What is more interesting is this new idea of offence. Even according to the hadith of Islam the Prophet gave the believer the right to do just the same as what Charlie Hebdo has done. It completely hypocritical of this man in what he is saying.

If he wasn't a coward he would be the one committing these acts because they cohere with his beliefs as demonstrated by his reaction here. So he is actually worse than them morally. Their viewpoints are the same but he would rather sit in the safety of a society who he despises rather than actually act out the barbaric ideology he really believes in.

Why are some subjects protected by freedom of speech and others not? Why can we mock some issues and cannot do so with others? Should Holocaust denial, for example, be included as freedom of speech, or racial hatred? Jeremy Corbyn has been called antisemitic for defending the “Jewish banker mural”. The general consensus appears to be that the mural IS VERY antisemitic yet EVERY video shows the image being discussed. The Charlie Hebdo cartoons are divisive. There is NO consensus that the cartoons were “racist” yet they are NOT shown....

Islam is not a race and therefore, the comparison between Muslims and Black people is invalid. And that fact alone undermines the Muslim guy's argument.
Islam is a religion that people choose to adopt to varying degrees. All Muslims do not accept the tenets of Islam to the same degree.

    Equal in suffering to Jews
Equal in suffering to African Americans
    Not a separate Race
How is it racist? Also why should we bow down to one religion over another? Would Muslims give the same respect to say Hindus? Or Zoroastrians? Or Buddhists?
This goes beyond respecting Islam. This spectacle of a show gave more time, and compassion to the Muslim feelings rather than the souls massacred over cartoons......cartoons...car.. Nevermind the left cares are a moot point because they have none.

How is drawing a Muslim as a Muslim racist? Even if it is freedom of expression means complete freedom of expression the only restriction is not hurting others to prove your point.

people who easily get offended by free speech should watch more rap battles. I recommend KOTD, URL, Dont Flop. I recommend battle rappers like Arsonal, Dizaster, Rone.

Could always tell his guy in-studio was lying when he hit that low-intellect truth buffer & began stuttering through a word-grab to promote the notion of it being reasonable to always be walking on eggshells around 1 particular religious group, when none others are claiming the same right.

I have been asking every muslim i ever came across in the past 5yrs jus one question which they haven't been able to answer.
Question: If God created human by himself without your help, WHY does he need your help to kill the same human he created by himself by himself!????

Going back and watching this illogical apologist stutter in front of Douglas makes me grab my coffee and wait for the response...although I've watched it 20 times! lol Douglas LOVES confrontation but hes educated and relentless when he's either attacked or someone turns up to a fight unprepared.... Love the guy!

It's sharia blasphemy laws, nothing more. This isn't about religion: it's about a mass murdering pedophile psycho who should be derogated every day, by law. That 1.8 billion people worship a monster is disgusting; that the Islamic faith also mandates death for blasphemy as well as warfare against disbelievers, sanctions pedophilia and sex slavery and rape within marriage, as well as rape of infidels, is likewise repulsive and this should be clearly stated.
