- I impulsively bought a cheap 6mt G35 sedan, and it's actually working out so far. Quite surprised. I will be working on this car in tandem with the truck since it offers me immediate seat time.

I got my 03 auto G35 for 800 bucks. Slapped in a new tranny and got all oil leaks fixed and its my perfect DD

Always wanted to buy one of these, the sedans are rad. Video was sick
Makes me miss my 05' and 06' G35x's. I put a GTX3582R trunk mount system in it and a transgo shift kit, GTR injectors, and a little tuning with Uprev. That thing scooted, and in wet weather nothing could hang with it.

Just bought one and yes this thing grips the road and changes movements so quick with amazing handling. Especially since just added new tires and I will upgrade the brakes soon. Love this car.

Brooo you got a rare one. You got the Only one I've ever seen with a factory 6 speed!!. I got a 03 g35 with a 5 speed auto. Still fast as hell but not all that it should be😂
my future project
i got an 05’ 6mt sedan with 66k miles. an amazing car but the engine blew after a month. got a jdm de engine, and now looking for some aftermarket wheels and suspension. definitely using your car for inspiration.
I love these sedans! I recently did the akebono upgrade and if I could do it again, I would have chosen the Brembos instead. They feel great, but they've limited my wheel choice and you definitely feel the extra weight of the rotors.
Those are some good points. Need to research that myself.

I have 2005 g35x with 145k miles. I bought it new. I’ll never sell it. Your G looks good. I am planning to do some suspension upgrades next year.

I bought a 2004 G35 recently and slapped a 50,000 mile engine in and it run’s great I’m in love with the way these cars sound they have good torque and very responsive as well I do need to upgrade the suspension tho…. I like the way your G looks bro
05 n up look way better. The 05 still looks like a modern car if that makes sense. Imma buy s 05 sedan model off a friend soon☺️

Did you run a staggered setup or any spacers? Could just be the angle but rhe rear looks like it has more poke. Great setup though dude. I just picked up an 04 sedan for chump change that needs tlc myself as a daily so I enjoyed the vid
Thanks! I’m running a square setup [18x9.5 +22; 245/40ZR18], with no spacers. Fenders are rolled and pulled ever so slightly. I’m not running very much negative camber. So, the rear pokes a little.

It looks awesome bro 🥵 I'm planning on getting the forma 9s too but the ones I'm getting are 5x100 9.5 wide which means I have to adjust with 1 inch spacers 114.3 to 5x100 what do you think of my idea?do you think I'll run into some issues?
That’s going to be insanely wide, even with a Subaru wheel offset. I am guessing you are trying to buy wheels off a Subie and adapt them over. I’d say wait and buy the correct PCD and offset from the beginning.

I just got one a week ago any tips? Got 180,xxx miles and got everything serviced, any recommendations on more power?
fbo, exhaust and tune. make sure parts that need to be replaced are replaced so your engine at least has a chance at surviving if you daily it. On the bright side, VQ35 engines are relatively cheap to buy low miles
and good suspension/tires.

Oh yeah, I meant to ask, how did those coilovers work out for you? Are they comfortable to drive on? I've had a few sets of BC's in the past, some Tien Flex Z, and some Megans that rode like shit on a few different vehicles of mine. I don't think I'm picky I think it's just that most coilovers are trash lol
They are okay. Obviously, for the price, they are nothing like a properly tuned set of KW’s or Ohlins. I personally like a softer/more compliant suspension for a street car. The weight of the car lends well with these coilovers though. I have the dampening set to right in the middle for front and rear. It feels responsive, but not bouncy if that makes sense. I absolutely cannot stand bouncy setups.
@@Inner_Sanctum Okay cool, you sound like me. And yeah I have some KW v3 on my lexus and it's incredible how good they are. I'm not expecting that kind of performance out of something so much cheaper, but the way you described yours sounds very acceptable. Thanks!
