The announcement of it being premium just because of it looks and feels was laughable to say so early. The problem with anything RK3588 related, with Rockchip's latest statement about the SOC, for all round use it is essentially dead from a manufacturer/vendor support and the only hope for it's future, already long into the production cycle lies with communities trying to figure out drivers etc. For industrial uses it may have the required elements to be of use but for the home user, like the RK3399, this has to be considered a lemon. Two dud SOC's in a row for Rockchip's top of the line processors. Only Android will have some of the required hardware accelerated drivers installed by default but just look at what versions of Android the RK3688 is stuck at. 12, or if you are lucky, 13. Behind the curve and no indication of getting better. Invest with caution and open eyes.
Okay I love the channel name

Am getting this right here... you have to buy the expansion board if you want to have wifi and a m.2 drive?
You are correct. For M.2 you need an expansion board, for Wifi, you just need to plug the Wifi card to the back of the board.
That I/O is freaking hot baby!
The price went up? Active cooling for the 8+32 $240usd and $300usd for the 16+64 with active cooling or am I missing something
Always the same price goes up in seconds, don't blink your eyes..
Classic
Does it come with power supply?
No, it's a typical USB C powered board, the adapter is extra, they sell it here www.namtso.com/shop/acc-b1300
