I have a Ford F-150 Lightning that I connected to the refrigerator and microwave. Over three days, we only used 10% of the battery. I’m in WNC also. I have ordered a whole home battery generator from EcoFlow for the future power outages. With that device, I should be able to run most of my critical loads, and I can use the 220+ kWs of energy from our Lightning and Rivian R1S to keep the battery in the DPU restored. I calculated I could run for nearly a month with conservative usage if needed. I had the sister car, Kia EV6, to the Ionic 5, and it had a V2L connector with it. Nice video.

Should consider a inverter for the bolt.

It might help people watching this video if you supplied a link to the device that you have attached to your car that's supplying AC power.

I have a Ford Lightning that has the capability of supplying up to 240 volts at 9600 watts with a battery capacity of up to 131 kwh of power. But for those that have an EV similar to yours, it would be nice to know where they can get that device you're using to supply oower.

Currently as far as I know only EVs from Kia and Hyundai have the V2L or Vehicle to Load Adapters. BYD and MG support this but they are not in the USA.
Specifically the following vehicles support V2L adapters. Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6, Kia EV6, Kia EV9, Mitsubishi Outlander and Eclipse Cross PHEV, Kia Niro, Kona Electric, All Genesis EVs. One thing to note is that all V2L adapters as of this time are vehicle specific. This means that a V2L adapter that works for the Ioniq 5/6 will potentially not work for the Genesis EV, Kona Electric or other EV's due to underlying battery voltages and onboard chargers.
For the vehicle adapter here is the link to the Lectron adapter he was mentioning again this adapter is only for Ioniq 5 and 6. Hyundai also provides an OEM V2L adapter that I will also link below should someone be looking for one. I just leased an Ioniq 5 and mine came with Hyundai's V2L OEM adapter.
      Lectron Ioniq 5 or 6 V2L adapter - $99-149

Another Ioniq V2L option from EVDANCE - $120-130

Yeah, the Lightning is pretty impressive on this front - I spoke to a few Lightning owners during this outage. Being able to put out 240V is pretty incredible - you'd be able to run your AC, electric range, etc off of it. Too big of a vehicle for me, but if you're already a truck guy and can afford it - pretty great option!
