I’m tired of how he portrays BM in his movies. As no good, abusive overly emotional. Yes that’s a sector but it’s not the majority. Media, marketing and history has done a great job in creating this beast plus those who actually play into those stereotypes.

And it's crazy that these two actors have recently been through public nasty divorces.

@@Innerchild.Whisperer yes because they don’t care what he produces. People watch Tyler Perry’s work because it’s Tyler Perry and they support him because of his story , his struggle and him overcoming which has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with his creativity or how good his work is.

The bad part is that publicly we did not see any abuse, disrespect or violence in either Corey or Meagan’s marriages or divorces but watching Tyler Perry’s negativity will have people claiming that these behaviors existed within their marriages because that’s what they were willing to portray. That’s really unfair to the silent partners of their marriages who weren’t apart of the movie. We know that people add and take things out of context quickly

Tyler Perry is great, it's just drama, I see it in K Drama, Bollywood, Nollywood, in European drama and in Hollywood. Stop complaining and support your own. When did your own ever own a movie studio. Be patient, you don't know what is coming next. Black Americans always putting their own down until they lose everything.

Tell us what is great about repeating the same old material. Nobody likes eating the same meal all the time. After all variety is the spice of life and Tyler Perry does not know spice. And yes he owns his own studio but what is he doing with it other than cranking out the same thing. It’s good that he’s got his own studio so he can do it his way because ain’t no body interested in giving space to have the same experience produce the same results. If it wasn’t for his very strong , very huge, very loyal fan following he wouldn’t have the support he has. People support him just because he’s Tyler Perry and not because his work is any good. They would watch if he filmed paint drying and defend it when people said it was just paint. They don’t care whether the work is good, they watch it because they love him, the man and that has nothing to do with his work. People even say his work is trash but I’m gonna still watch not realizing that they are hindering him from having any desire to get better. He’s not creative when all you do is the same thing. After over 20 years in the business you should be complaining too for having your intelligence being taken for granted.
