- Meagan Good and Cory Hardrict tell ET's Nischelle Turner how their splits inspired their 'Divorce in Black' performances. Both actors open up about mental health and the second acts of their careers. 'Divorce in Black' premieres July 11 on Prime Video.

It appears Cory was holding back tears, it may be a sensitive topic for him to talk about. What I can say is I love that they both separated with their partners without drama or rather they kept it private and never talk bad about their ex in the public.
Yes you can see it in his face he sad!! He definitely channeled some emotions in this movie also!! He actually did a great job!! I think Corey could be a great actor and the separation is what he needed to push himself whether he knows it or not.
He’s said he cried himself to sleep every night for about a year and a half after the divorce. It’s clear to see the pain for him is real.
People say alot….Dude is an actor.

The press has been insensitive to him in general. Megan wanted her divorce. Corey has been more classy in his divorce than Tia was and yet they won’t respect that man’s healing.

I never, ever thought that Tia and Cory would divorce and I didn't realized how hurt and affected he is about it. It's also crazy how him and Meg both were divorced by the other.
The fact that they both were recently divorced was probably the reason Tyler Perry hired them.

I agree, I think the decision of divorce might have been more on one side. I have a feeling better things are coming for him

I have been watching Debbie Morgan, Playing Meagan Goode's Mother acto Forever. She has been on several Soap Opera's, from the 70's. Played Toni Braxton's Mother in the Movie and too many other Roles to mention. What a GEM! T. Perry knew how casting her is, was the Smart Move. OMG!
She played Frankie, Keshia Cole’s mother and she aced that role “man down!” 😉 Rest in Peace Frankie! ❤

I watched a movie. It was so good. It was mind blowing. There are some lessons to take from this movie and hopefully there is going to be a second episode.
As a man I can resonate with Corey’s will to hold in those emotions. Throughout the entire interview you can tell he his trying to stand on his square through the pain
That is the beauty and reality of being a man. S/o to all my brothers . I’m not married nor have I ever been but I can imagine that pain along with other realities of being a man
