I know a lot of people saying they can’t watch it again or didn’t like it I like it it was suspenseful he wasn’t to crazy but he was crazy and there acting is amazing and they didn’t let things get to out of hand before something actually serious happen

Loved the movie. It’s in my top 5 Tyler Perry movies that I love now. Acrimony and diary of a mad black woman being a couple of my faves.
I just wanted to see Corey’s acting I. A different role, he definitely didn’t disappoint, but won’t be watching again.
The first act was surprisingly good. Slow paced but within reason. And then… nothing happens while everything happens nonsequential. That sentence made no sense, huh? Just like the second and third acts. Pure chaos, drastic tone shifts, indecisive characters with zero development. Only the first scene was entertaining, but that scene and those characters with the most dialogue are not connected to the rest of the plot. The acting from Meagan Good, Debbi Morgan, and Richard Lawson was impressive given that garage writing. Cory Hardrict’s acting… 🤔 WTF!! It was so abysmal. He has a resting b*tch face and still couldn’t give a believable villain performance. 2 out 5 stars.

It was so crazy to me how Ava had so many loving flashbacks of her and Dallas when he showed absolutely no redeeming qualities throughout the movie. Like seriously, what made her love him, what made her stay?

Corey Hadtrict had a hard time in the industry but I think he's a very good actor he deserves better than Tyler Perry. Being portrayed as a broke black mad man

In the end following Dallas's death, it's just the old lady and the remaining two Bertan boys (the youngest one died of crime the night before Ava's father was discharged from the hospital). It can be assumed that what's left of Dallas's toxic household lives in their misery until there's no one left but the old lady to reflect on her actions.
