Simsie has gotten so good at modern builds!!! The shape of this house is so cool! Something about it reminds me of the firehouse that Mia and her mom live in in the first princess diaries movie, maybe the verticality of it
I'm so tempted to steal this build for the shell alone lol I wanted to make a Sim for the new Reaper Event but was having a hard time coming up with their house. Wanted a goth who lived in a modern house, and this place fits the vibe so well!!
I love it when you go all out- no pack/budget limitations is so fun. Also loved how much Industrial Loft kit was used; it’s really one of my fav kits. Such a fun house! It was fun to see the more poppier shades of blue and purple that you generally tend to avoid lol (especially the wardrobe in the child’s room).
I love that to :), I love watching thoose videos and get inspo. It´s fun to watch and to try to find ways to do a simular build but only basegame and/or limited packs.
i agree!! i completely understand why she does limited pack/budget builds, but as someone who only has base game and the free stuff, i can find it boring to see simmers build with the same stuff i play with ever day lol.
I know a lot of ppl prefer "Limited pack" builds, but I love it when you use a lot of the packs. It shows how much the packs actually blend together and can even be kinda mismatched but work well together. I know I'm probably the only one who feels that way.
I prefer builds with a lot of packs too! When I download base game only builds I usually end up replacing a lot of the items with things that work better from packs. So I love builds where the creator just feels like they were free and put what they truly thought fit the best.
I love seeing builds with so many packs. Sometimes it shows me stuff I don't have that I really like, and I love seeing all of the stuff from different packs coming together to make something so cohesive. Limited pack builds are no fun.
I think the only people that prefer the limited pack builds are the comments on the gallery bc every time she posts a video like this, everyone praises her in the comments. You can really tell how talented she is from these types of videos
As someone from a tropical country, whenever I see those sun room-type spaces it always makes me think "god, it would be a furnace in there" lol. But I guess in cooler climates it's probably nice.
See, i live in a colder climate, but we don't have AC so when it actually do get hot, there is nothing you can do about it 😅 literally just stand still and try not to melt away 😮😂 However the sunroom the rest of the year is very nice 😊
As someone from a colder climate, that would be a nightmare because it's impossible to insulate and would just get veeeery cold while eating a shit ton of electricity haha
sun rooms suck in cooler climates too. in winter or at night its a freezer bc theres no insulation. but on sunny days it is ALSO a furnace bc the sun gets magnified by glass and its sooo hot. but suffering is worth it for the vibes lol
Hope everyone is okay. N.ft. Myers here. Hit high tide and the water is starting to lower. Came up to our porch but didn't come into the house thank goodness! And we only had the outer bands .
@@elizabethhogue5282 thank god!! I am in Town N Country. Our power is out, but i luckily haven't seen much damage other than the neighbors fence blown away. I hope everyone is doing as well as they can be!
Thank you guys for being interested in my build! I’m not a confident builder though so I haven’t uploaded it. If I do decide to upload to the gallery, I’ll come back here and let you guys know. 💕
The art studio looks sooo cool!!! Being an artsy person myself makes this actually a dream room... Now i wish i could i live there, just to paint, knit, draw every possible minute
I actually love when simsie uses as many packs as she wants. It leaves room for creativity and good for showcasing items we might forget about or want to use in our own builds that we don’t think of often
I know you always apologize for using too many packs and try to do limits pack builds, but with so much content it would be a funny challenge to use every pack in one build!
as a simmer who goes to art school, this is just a dream. i have to tell you though that matching colours on furniture in the art studio is very fancy. i dont think i have a single matching set of furniture in my studio, it's all different
This looks so cool! I did a similar thing with Sarah Kendall's newest shell. I wanted to try to use basically every item from the Artist kit and it was kind of fun!
Man I got so excited about that bright green feature wall for a sec and it was ripped away so quickly lmao I love Simsie and her builds but my little whimsigoth/boho/eclectic/maximalist heart would love to see her take a risk like that once in a while lol
I absolutely love this build! The new Art Studio kit and the Industrial Loft kit fit so well together for that kind of “starving artist” warehouse studio vibes. Yet another super Simsie creation 👏👏👏 I think it’d be fun to play here as an Artist sim, play the Artist Career until completion, and then move into the Art Critic career
Maybe eve one of the more iconic pieces from each kit. Like youre not allowed to use the plain square swatch from the rug in my first pet stuff unless you also use the more iconic turtle swatch
7:00 I’m irrationally bothered that you didn’t use the Apple clock instead but I couldn’t tell you why. This house’s shell is a full-figured industrial. Not your usual, but I think you did gorgeous! Who am I though? Love the build.
This must be really weird. But, I need to tell you this. I love your voice!! I am letting your videos in a playlist just so I can listen to it while working. LOL It's nice, You make me really confortable. (english is not my mother tongue, so i need to completely focus on your videos to acctually follow what you're saying, so don't judge me.) Plus, you're my favorite builder. You've got really good at this type of buildings. Thanks for your videos. ^^
This is one of my favourite builds from you! I really enjoyed watching you be creative and using more packs! Made me want to actually open the game again!
I love when you just go wild and do builds with no constraints on budget or packs!!!! This is soooo good! Obsessed. Please do more like this!! When you don't limit yourself you're and incredible builder!
Love this build! I need to try building more loft type houses. Also, I think a fun challenge for you Simsie would be to create a build where you don't focus on adding things for skill building and just go for what looks nice. 😆 I loved that giant plant on the balcony and then it was gone lol.
i loved this build so much!! for some reason it really reminds me of a house a main character from a disney channel sitcom would live in with their eccentric artist family haha
simsie I was so excited for you to come home from twitchcon and build with this pack and this build is honestly one of my favourites you've ever made!! the art studio vibe is everything 😍
As a disabled person I was begging for a couch or bench in the studio or on one of the balconies, imagining them taking a breather out there even if they have to stand to paint 🙏🙏
Beautiful build though. And I think especially with kit builds, it's good to use any packs because if you're buying kits you have money lol and if I like a build but there's stuff I don't have in it, I just replace it with something I do. I haven't bought a Sims pack since Werewolves/High School Years and I very happily play and watch your videos 💜
I actually really like the new kits! This is the first time ever that I bought a kit (and immediately after release too!) I've never bought kits but I love these sm for some reason
omg i did SUCH a similar style build back in the day when i first got city living!! it was my first build i did and i know its probably terrible now but this build is giving me so much early sims 4 nostalgia 😭❤️
a cool detail you could add is if the sim is right handed, you should rotate the easel ~45° clockwise (other way if left handed). because if you're painting from life, rotating the easel lets you see what you're referencing and your painting at the same time. just a note from a fine arts student ❤🎨
I love this so much, the blue colors, the bb items and everything is so beautiful, you did a great job, and you build pretty fast. I take really long to build something, and then it doesn't look that good. Did you put the woodworking table? I kinda forgot to look at it in the video, but its really beautiful, My Sims would love to live in there! 😍😍😍
This is honest to goodness one of my favourite builds I've seen in a long time. I might download the unfurnished (because I don't have that many packs😅) version for my rags to riches Sims when they can afford it lol
I feel so inspired to try building my own converted factory home now! I'm not too confident with that style of build but how can I not try to make one after watching this? 🤩
Something that I sometimes do in that fireplace situation is use the fake fireplace from holiday and use move objects to place a radiator on it and one of the love struck tile pieces behind. Makes a good fake fireplace.
Darn i wish you had remembered to put a mural at that blank side od the house, it wouldve been perfect. Also i find it funny how you always put planter boxes as if plants cant grow on the ground😹
Simsie has gotten so good at modern builds!!! The shape of this house is so cool! Something about it reminds me of the firehouse that Mia and her mom live in in the first princess diaries movie, maybe the verticality of it

omg LOVE this! it made me like this build sm more

love this idea!!!
I know a lot of ppl prefer "Limited pack" builds, but I love it when you use a lot of the packs. It shows how much the packs actually blend together and can even be kinda mismatched but work well together. I know I'm probably the only one who feels that way.

Could you pls do a video building with only kits?
That would be so fun
seconded🙋🏼♀️
Oh that’s not
That would be fun!!
uppp
This house would be great on the Old Salt House lot in San Myshuno!
I was thinking the same thing!!
Please please do a video about the new expansion pack ideas in the EA survey!!! 🙏🙏🙏
oh my god yes i've been waiting for this! I mean, no pressure of course but it is something i'd love to watch
As a fellow Floridian, be safe during the hurricane Simsie!
You stay safe too!!!

read this as “Hurricane Simsie” at first lol I was like no way… anyhow stay safe y’all !
@@Lilnaturefreak13 I'm glad you didn't get much damage. Our power went out and back on multiple times yesterday but never went completely out.
I love industrial architecture, favorite style besides gothic
The first thing I built with the kit was a pastel community art center and I love it! The art kit is so good
Ooh! It sounds beautiful. What's your username on the Sims? I'd love to download it.
I was thinkig to do the same, but I'm not a good builder, would love to download your building! :)

I actually love when simsie uses as many packs as she wants. It leaves room for creativity and good for showcasing items we might forget about or want to use in our own builds that we don’t think of often
I love love love when she doesn't restrict her pack amounts. The builds are always so good
I know you always apologize for using too many packs and try to do limits pack builds, but with so much content it would be a funny challenge to use every pack in one build!
i like these modern builds so much ❤❤❤
Your build videos are kind of my comfort content 💜
Love how this turned out! 🤎🖤

does anyone else think all the books (like the ones that are just decor) should function as bookshelves?
I've felt that way for a while, but of all my grievances that's pretty low on my list
@@steggopotamus fair haha
it wouldn't make sense for a textbook or sketchbook item to be a bookshelf tbh
Most of them do function as bookshelves now, thankfully
they do tho lmao
This looks so cool!

you just described me exactly lmao. just add some dark academia and victorian/edwardian to the whimsigoth/boho/eclectic/maximalism
1:30 I love when you do funky stuff

You should do a build where you try to use every pack. Not sure if you did this already but there are also a lot of new packs since last year.
Maybe eve one of the more iconic pieces from each kit. Like youre not allowed to use the plain square swatch from the rug in my first pet stuff unless you also use the more iconic turtle swatch
Such a beautiful Build! You should definitely try that type of build more often! Even though I love your suburban builds
Kayla, this house is incredible!! I love seeing you have fun with new ideas 🤩 I love how cohesive the theme is, too
I love the open loft vibe❤❤

Omg I love this build! And it also has such a great storyline to it!

it’s one of my favorite builds, i absolutely love this style and furniture and everything was absolutely perfect
