Imagine a witch is in a battle with a player, and his main defense is chugging bottle after bottle of hot cocoa and melon juice, which is somehow completely nullifying all the magic you are throwing at them
I love cooking mods like Farmer’s Delight and Pam’s HarvestCraft, and when I pair them with magic mods like Bewitchment it feels like I’m a cozy little cottagecore witch making enchanted meals to keep my pets healthy and strong :D
As a person who mostly farms and fishes in Minecraft, this is one of my favorite mods for Minecraft. I personally think cooking should be expanded upon in Minecraft and this mod perfectly adds what I want.
Ikr, his videos though simple, is very clean and as concise as can be. He packs as much as he can in, so we can just click in, and get a general feel of it, and decide if we wanna mess with the mods or not. Too many people go into tangents, or start unnecessarily go way too in depth, but he doesn't. He just shows us the surface and tell us where to get it so we can go and play it for ourselves. I like it
this is genuinely one of the coolest and well-thought out mods i've ever seen. especially in regards to certain things not entirely based around food like the mod is "focused" on like ropes being used for exploration or un-crafting of leather armor or wood decorative blocks via the cutting board. and the video itself is great too, great explanations of everything as well as suggesting other things like jei and not trying to withhold information to get people to "discover it for yourself" or whatever, any question i had was answered about 10 seconds later and it was great!
Dude ive used this mod for so long and i still had no idea what organic compost did. Your video was very nice and informative and the work you pit into them is easy to see. Your work is great and I cant wait to see what else you do!
This is how vanilla plus content should be done. Nothing too crazy, it feels like a very natural progression on a mechanic that could use some more attention in the main game. Not only that, but almost every element in this mod has some other use or connection with other vanilla elements that don’t even have to do with cooking, but still would make sense in terms base content. I think a lot of large scope mods tend to focus on adding new and exciting things but seem to miss the importance of naturally interacting with other, more seeming distance aspects of the game. I think one of the best examples
I really like the straight forward and put together your video was. I remember when mumbo had less subs than you and I found his tutorials. It's clear you didn't just click record on your mic. But you rehearsed your video, took it seriously, and did your testing. Very appreciated!
Love these big mod showcases! Ive always wanted to play more modded but never know where to begin with some of the top mods. Keep the awesome videos coming!
I love the more focused mod spotlight type stuff. Haven't seen a focused quality mod spotlight this good since... Ever, actually. More single mod spotlight vids please!
Very nice, comprehensive mod showcase. I enjoyed your presentation style, especially the use of chapters. I have used this mod before, but you have shown me features I had not previously considered, or known about. My only gripe is that the AI voice occasionally was distracting, but that is to be expected. 5/5 video.
Hey, I had a similar idea to the Cooking Pot for my own mod idea, though as two separate items. The first one is the Stock Pot, which functions like a Brewing Stand, except it uses water instead of Blaze Powder, and Bowls instead of Bottles. The second one is the Brick Oven, which allows you to cook multi-ingredient foods, and helps prevent fuel waste by way of a fuel gauge like the Brewing Stand has. I think I like the Cooking Pot better, though. It's a bit more straightforward. Hey! My mod idea has Milk Bottles, too! Granted, I was thinking of getting eight bottles out of a single bucket instead of four, and they remove ALL status effects like the buckets do, but it's still a neat coincidence. I may have to check this mod out. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. For those who are curious (which probably isn't many), my idea basically just expands the number of food items the player can make using what's already in vanilla Minecraft. No new crops, just new recipes.
Dude you're a real one. First, you don't have an obnoxious intro, second, you don't try to talk to us in a cartoony voice, third, you don't spend a good portion of the video wasting time talking and instead you get straight to the topic, you actually annotate your videos, and your editing is excellent. Subscribed, looking forward to your content :D
Your videos are such high quality that I can't believe you're not that well known these mod reviews are so well made and super underrated I hope you get the support you deserve soon keep up the good work
Wow. This was a really good video. I really like the way you cleanly convey information. You don't waste time, which makes a video a good watching experience. The visuals are presently nicely, and support what you say really well.
rich soil can also be placed under water to speed up rice growth. it also doesnt need nearby water sources when used as farmland and doesnt get trampled
This greatly demonstrates how Mojang is focusing on the wrong things when it comes to some update features. They should work more on stuff that's under the hood. These mods are so much better at focusing down on one theme.
Dude, thanks a lot for making a farming delight showcase, I'm creating a modpack and farming delight will be in it along with addons to make it compatible with alex's mobs ,thank you for being one of the best Minecraft mod TH-camr
In my opinion this is the best mod in Minecraft’s entire history, it adds an update that I have been waiting for so long to the point it’s on my #1 spot for waited updates, “The Cooking Update!”
Yeah I don't take the time to comment on a lot of videos but i feel the need to let you know: Your content is amazing! Great script, edits, and pacing. This single video impressed me with how professional it felt watching it that I had no choice but to subscribe. I don't want to miss a showcase, uploaded by you, about another mod I'm interested in. Keep up your great work, and I look forward to seeing your growth after a fair bit of time!
You know, you hear a name like "Farmer's Delight" and you think, "What could it possibly add? Wheat 2?" And then it has some of the best modded items I've seen in the game like rope, safety nets, and it even has special sneak attack enchantments for knives. This mod has stuff for everyone and I'm in love with it.
I was sent your channel by a buddy of mine who said you sounded like me. And to be frank, he isnot wrong I am actually fairly surprised. What the funk. But nice spoken content btw
This is so cool. I've actually been looking for something like this which will give better saturation or other cool effects as well as just making my house seem more 'homely'. Also your voice is very relaxing to listen to and you explain things very nicely! I'll definitely have to give this mod a try soon.
Absolutely amazing mod! I also use strats food, rustic agriculture, better foliage, and a flower mod I can’t think of rn in my vanilla plus load order. There’s an issue rn however and can’t use rustic in the preview as it breaks the mods that revamp natural regeneration. And if you wanna revamp your animals, better animals is a great retexture mod that makes the animals look better in my opinion. And should you want some more in your vanilla plus playthrough I’d use create after it gets updated to fix the missing textures. Anyway… I have an issue with using the stove where I can’t place the skillet currently but other than that it works fine. Forgot to mention I’m on bedrock edition 😅
It's so sad that you are this underrated. Your showcases are amazing. May I suggest a mod to showcase? End's Phantasm is a pretty cool mod. Have a nice day! 😁
Sometimes I wish there were more mods like this like player-made updates that feel official, like a mod that adds new weapons or functions like armor layering, and allowing armor stands to hold multiple items, I would also like more shield options and maybe even some form of a bomb with a glass bottle and gunpowder, a new ranged option that would explode in a small area, recruiting nitwits as fighters, by giving them a weapon or an item like a combat manual found in woodland mansions(a similar result can be achieved with thorns armor), as well as iron golems that will listen to your commands, which could allow you to form an army of sorts to fight against your friends in large scale battles, wearable banners as well.
You probably get this a whole lot, and technically these mods are for 1.18.2, but would you mind reviewing the Star Worm Equestrian Mod and its counterparts? SWEM might not be appealing to a lot of people, but they have a whole host of mods specially made for servers such as the Star Worm Plus Mod and the Star Worm Economy Mod, but for builders, they have the Star Worm Lighting and Star Worm Deco Mods that are simply just fantastic, and I'd appreciate it a lot if you went and at least checked them out!
Your videos are very to the point and don't waste any time. None of the information you provide can be labled as filler, and you almost make it to 10 minutes... which is beyond impressive. If I had to give one small criticism it'd be this: Listen to your audio before you send it out and don't be afriad to break things up because multiple takes. If I'm being perfectly honest... you emphasize a lot of the wrong words to the extend that your voice sounds A.I. generated. This is incredibly distracting to anyone with ears and speaks english. I'm unsure if this is just you, or if it's nerves, or something else. I'm aware that some neurodivergent people struggle with common emphasis placement, but I'm not about to place that label on anyone lol... Edit: Unless the voice is actually AI lol ffs I can't even tell anymore. I saw a comment about the voice being AI and I feel like an idiot XD

I never knew I needed a 1.21 Cooking Update in Minecraft so badly until I saw all of the things you showed off in this video.
You're right!
its out nowww
exactly my thoughts
Since 1.18 I've been wanting a food update really badly; if they don't add one by 1.22 I'm going to make one myself probably.
As a person who mostly farms and fishes in Minecraft, this is one of my favorite mods for Minecraft. I personally think cooking should be expanded upon in Minecraft and this mod perfectly adds what I want.
