1:04 For the combo with MrCrayfish's Gun Mod and Enhanced Visuals, I think Damage Tilt would also be a great addition since it patches an abandoned feature all the way back from before 1.3.1 when your screen would tilt towards where you took damage from.
can you make another „how to turn minecraft into a truly terrifying game“? now that it’s halloween and your old video on this was 2 years ago, i would be really excited to see an updated version of this modpack!!! edit: now that i think about it, you should bring that entire series back because it was awesome :D
One additional mod to the last set could be 'Voice Chat Interaction' which works with simple voice chat to activate things like sculk. So if you are exploring the deep dark with friends you have to be mindful of your voice! Great video tho, will definitely be trying some of these out!
The transition between the first two was hilarious Combination 1: Nice way to make item swapping fun and more appealing! Combination 2: Any ways, let's add guns and shoot at each other
as a man who is slowly going insane adding more and more mods to 1.18 i thank you because honestly i need to find a reason to add more mods to make the game a little easier (i have made every hostile mob simply too intelligent)
These mods give me the idea to make a hard modpack where you must run away from spawn due to some threat (perhaps a black hole from that one mod?) and the mobs progressively get harder the further you go. Could throw in that sunburn mod to make things even more interesting
I recently started watching Berserk, so when you showed the _Conquest-Medieval Music_ combo I immediately thought of that anime. I’ll combine them with _Better Combat_ and _Simply Swords_ for the optimal medieval fighting experience, and _Diagonal Fences_ and _Connectable Chains_ for better building experience (if they're compatible). _LevelZ_ and _RPG Difficulty_ are on my list to add to them too, y'know, for the full Medieval MMORPG experience.
That first combination was perfect for my modpack, which aims to enhance the vanilla experience by adding QOL features, while also being compatible with vanilla servers entirely. These kinds of mods are few in number, but can make the world of difference.
Imagine using the burning-in-the-sun mod, but it works similar to ray tracing where you have to be a direct line of sight from the sun in order to burn, rather than just not under a block. It would even be fun to play with ray tracing.
This is nothing new but Kuda shaders are my favorite, especially due to the way it makes water look! It's super realistic, reflective, AND rain actually pools into puddles. PLUS, those puddles stay after the rain stops and slowly dissipate throughout the day. It's just *chef's kiss*.
a good serious combination; epic knight armor, epic fight and dungeons arise. with these 3 together, they increase the difficulty of the world and the dungeons
1:37 I remember there was an old mod, I think it was called "Pandora's box", which increased Sun's size and evaporated all trees, grass, water on the surface overtime
For the combat mods you can also add first person mod which shows your whole entire body and it works with better combat. It makes it way cooler to swing any weapon and even makes things like mining a little new. I think it also works with the extra weapons because essentially the first person mod just shows the character you should be seeing when you’re in third person but in first person. So if those extra weapons have visible animations in third person they will work with the first person mod. That’s what makes that mod so cool.
for very satisfying chests, mouse tweaks and an inventory sorting mod is good to add if youre doing very simple stuff. i believe mouse tweaks adds the scrolling feature and it also has inventory sorting and filtering which is almost a must have for me.
@@Abeythebaby123 Oh sorry I saw this comment 6 months late 😂 it aims to make Minecraft feel new and fresh and improve exploration, combat and make it be a bit of an rpg game
Just as i love packs n shaders, Mods can make mc so much better as a game. However, forced to use forge or other things and not knowing how frequently they get updated and othe r demands make me just stay on packs and shaders.
If you want something SUPER tech heavy and automation-focused, you should try my personal favorite mod combo (that I discovered thanks to Valhesia 3) Industrial Foregoing + Mekanism + Refined Storage. Between the mods you have more than enough tools to basically automate every crafting option in the game. Sure, not crafting your materials by hand can be a turn off for some people (as it defeats the purpose for the "craft" in Minecraft) but it's SOOOOO satisfying to be able to produce high tech crafting farms that make producing whatever you want easier
With the Crayfish gun mod, there are quite a few expansions made by other people, one adding guns from other games, and one that added more attachments, and a lot of other things.
@@mariocamspam72 im not extremely knowledgeable on the subject, what you say may or may not be true, but there is probably hundreds of extremely indepth and game changing. for example: mystcraft 2 and thaumcraft 7 are still in development. custom npcs, orangesunshine, immersive railroading, eureka airships, all potentially hundreds or thousands of hours of work to rebuild from the ground up for fabric. perhaps all mods *should* be moved, but that will most likely never happen unless somebody makes a program that can convert mods or something
Conquest is an amazing resource pack not only for its textures, but for its application of block metadata back when block IDs were handled numerically. To elaborate, blocks had a unique numerical ID, however many fell under a singular ID with a secondary value within. I recall for example 35 corresponding to wool, with 35:14 being the red color specifically. All blocks had these secondary values, most being unutilised, until Conquest started to apply unique textures to them. Snow metadata IDs beyond the default 0 gained wooden trims and internal connections, perfect for texturing a cottage. Stone gained a variety of new materials besides vanilla's options. Cobwebs could be transmuted into hanging fish, or animated blowing smoke, utilizing the block's unique application of its texture. The resource pack essentially added a variety of new blocks to the game to build with, allowing vanilla clients to use serverside plugins to utilise them. I played a lot with this as a kid.
I was wondering if you were ever going to make an updated "how to turn minecraft into a midieval fantasy game?" The midieval version of minecraft is awesome and since the last one is from back in 1.12.2 I was wondering if you would? PS: The midieval mod combo in this is awesome!
Another good combination *would* be Vic's Modern Warfare and MCHeli, but unfortunately the official MCHeli mod isn't being updated and the current ports are currently in very early builds. Both mod has some extremely realistic animations and models.
me and my friends did this in an ancient city with a mod that makes it so your voice works with sculk. you could hear warden noises and muffled echoing screams of terror from across the city. would recommend 10/10
While I know they're using MrCrayfish's gun mod as a base, I use Ninezero's additional guns and scorched guns to expand the arsenal. As for mod combos, I use simply swords with Epic Knights. Could probably use both with the resource pack mentioned
That was pretty much the combat one. The mod that makes mobs more difficult over time/distance doesn’t add any new powers or anything, just makes mobs deal more damage, have more health, maybe faster and bigger explosions etc
There was a mod that did that, as time passes the mobs grow stronger and start using items, like skeletons using ender pearls to move around and keep shooting you, I think zombies used shields. It was really interesting, but I don't use it and I don't remember the name, but yes, this is a confimation that the mod exists
Oh wow 😮, so that’s how they managed to seamlessly make it look like the moon was gradually getting closer to the earth back in hermit craft season 8. 🧐 I’m impressive I never even noticed that they used this mod. (2:00) 👏👏👏
Another one that would work for very satisfying chests is Tiny Item Animations that makes the item bigger when transitioning inventory slots or between inventories
These mobs are truly stellar! I would love to have them for a "Modern Fantasy RPG" gameplay when I get Minecraft I have a combination of mods for your next video. Try I Wanna Skate and Parcool together, and you'll become an urban street legend in no time!
i think the funniest thing about prox chat + dynamic sound mod is that, on SMP servers, you'll just hear some twitch streamer in the middle of a dark cave giving thanks to their subs
Seasons and Immersive Weathering are a good combination. IW changes how the block react to the environment, like moss growing on stone or icicles generating in snowy areas. With Seasons, those effects enhance the seasons themselves, they work well together. Tho i must say that i uninstalled Seasons cos i don't like how it works while exploring ( ice from rivers don't melting immediately outside of winter, making exploring old chunks weird ). But you might like it.

With the sun combination and some other mods and maps you could probably remake SCP-001 "When Day Breaks" and I bet it could be a fun challenge
