To my surprise I got a 2K discount off MSRP, 2022 premium pckg, mica/bk, 20" wheels, 12" screen, OK, OK i better stop now because it sounds like I'm bragging. But gripping the walnut wheel and looking at my new interior, will make my next 15 yrs a pleasure to drive. Good luck all.
I like this style of video. I know it's not always ideal but seeing different trim levels is great since not everyone goes for a fully loaded vehicle. Great video Matt!
RX 500h sounds great to me. I bought MDX 2022 Aspec for my wife since we cannot wait for type S to come out. I am about to replace my RDX but then MPG of MDX type S is not good so and decided to wait for new RX or TX. Also looking into BMW X5/X7, Porches Cayenne, Mercedes GLE/GLS but not sure about their reliability since I usually keep my car around 10 years. After watching the review, I think I will go with RX 500h. It is good balance between reliability, MPG, power train, driving dynamic and handling, at least to me in that order...
The RX is not a middle ground for handling and ride X5 GLE MDX Aviator gv80 are the middle ground for handling and ride. The first four offer an air suspension
@@vic5318 People don't like the sound of a turbo4, the fact that there is a 4 cyclinder under the hood and apparently it's not as smooth as the v6. (I am not sure how true each of these facts are about the new Rx)
Yeah most I-4 Turbo in stock form sound like a vacuum and they vibrate more than a V6 and those vibrations can be felt in the cabin. V6 and I-6 tend to be more balanced and pleasant to the ears
Great review ,but I suggest next time devote most of the reviewing to the more popular bought Trim. Simple just start from the bottom to the top of the different trim.
Most auto makers are going 4 cyl w/turbo. Just the thing now. Drive the 2023 and it’s nice. Getting the luxury hybrid. The tech is better as well as the design. Has enough power. German build quality superior to Lexus? You can't be serious. Lexus is regularly at the top of the JD Power Survey every year for the past 2 decades while Merc, BMW and Audi are usually in the bottom half every year.

It's the actual owners of the German cars who report the build quality and reliability issues. For over 3 decades Mercedes, BMW and Audi have consistently been in the bottom half of JD Power Survey. Lexus and Toyota are consistently at the top which is no surprise as every car manufacturer knows that Lexus and Toyota build the most reliable and durable cars in the industry. Do you know who Porsche turned to in the 90's to save them from going bankrupt? They engaged consultants from Toyota to overhaul their manufacturing and production line process. Decades later Porsche is the only German manufacturer to top the JD Power Survey for at least one year. Porsche has since opened a consulting business that has advised other German companies such as Lufthansa and Meyer Werft the lessons they learned from Toyota.

On top of that, it offers a 12.3inch full lcd instrument cluster and it has a better implementation of the 14inch touchscreen. The Highlander offers a 12.3inch lcd instrument cluster now for 2023. The sienna has 4 zone climate control and ottomans What Lexus even offers those features. None of them 😂
Grab the 2022's while you can. The v6 is pretty much indestructible and it has adequate performance. Someone should be fired for letting that mauve/copper/pink color to production. Not to mention, it runs on regular.

For those who prefer them over Lexus, hope you like having your car in the shop and have your your bank roll ready to pay up for maintenance after fives years. Ugly exterior - that’s just personal preference Cheap interior - The RX has semi aniline leather, real wood trim, aluminum, alcantara, stitched dashboard etc Lacking luxury features - Heated and cooled front and rear seats, panoramic moonroof, the only thing I’ll say it’s missing is massaging seats. Zero elegance or class - Lexus offers one of the best dealership experiences out there, Genesis doesn’t even have that many if not a dealership, you still have to go to Hyundai dealerships to get a Genesis, and Acura is just there still pretty good tho Powertrains - I wouldn’t call any of them mediocre except for the 350, they all offer something that the other doesn’t offer There is no way a telluride or pallisade is even better cos they don’t even compete, with an RX. The telluride and palisade are focused on a different mission compared to the RX

I don't know if it's just me, but have you noticed that everyone that has reviewed the RX so far has complimented it on it's looks kind of avoiding the elephant in the room. The fact that the front looks like a fat great white shark that is waiting to eat you. I think they have all been instructed to say it looks great. I personally think that the rest of it looks great, but that face is Horrid.

not really.... currently all RX350 and H are hard to get. The only downside is the motor but everything else is just plain better.

You might try going up hill before you buy one . 4 cylinder is a bad mistake for going up mountains or pulling a trailer .

The Lexus vehicles are made in Japan or North America Canada. BMW , Mercedes Benz are not built nearly as well as Lexus Vehicles.

Volvo interiors are top notch, Scandinavian style. The RX is for almost 70-years who remember floaty Buick/Cadillac, Lincoln/Mercury!

Lexus was being lazy here in making the RX hybrid with such lackluster power out put the same has the Toyota Highlander Hybrid and the RAV4 hybrid .
And if mpg is the goal in buying the RXH, why not just buy the Highlander Hybrid for way less.
