Now entering its fifth generation, the Lexus RX took a turn toward the bold. The RX stands out where it used to blend in. Lexus offers to paint it in wild colors. And, you can purchase an F Sport Performance version. Yeah, bold indeed. And it’s not just talking the talk...
In this video, I take you through the car, show you what features are offered and how they work. And then I take you on a drive to get a sense of how well it handles, the quality of the ride, and the overall experience.

I purchased one of these, and I liked your ‘style’ of reviewing. Good job !
Awesome, thank you!
Great in depth review
Thank you very much!
Thank you for a great video. I appreciate your review on this vehicle. We are waiting for the fully loaded plug-in hybrid version to come out and I would love to get your opinion on driving that model I’m hoping that being a plug-in electric with a larger battery will give more power without the droning noise of the four-cylinder every time you take off from a light and with a 35 to 40 mile range that should cover our daily commute. We currently have a 21 ES 300 H and are looking for something taller with a plug-in hybrid, do you know when you’ll be able to review that vehicle? Thanks again for your in-depth review. We appreciate it.
Thank you! I hope to get in a plug-in version sometime soon.
It’s not fast enough. Needs to hit 60 in under 5 seconds to be competitive with other luxury crossovers
The RX isn’t even faster than a v6 Camry or rav4 prime
@@naveenthemachinenah, this way better car than damry and rav 4 but I agree those cars are way better than a gv70
lol.... no.... they made a "quicker" luxury suv. Even their LC500 isn't what I would call a true sports car. Lexus is great at making reliable, quiet and comfortable vehicles. Performance and horsepower are not their forté.
Even their LFA isn’t an exotic car since it’ll get smoked by a 4 door bmw m5 or a model s plaid or model 3 performance or a Kia ev6 GT ioniq5N Taycan Turbo S
@@naveenthemachine yeah but it still smokes you and your mom’s Camry
@@beri232 no it doesn’t actually. The rx500h does 0-60 in 5.8 seconds.
My family’s v6 Toyota Camry does 0-60 in the same time of 5.8 seconds
So your argument is weak 😂
@@naveenthemachine your comments are weak
@@beri232 what i said is true
Some things I like, more I don't. Don't like the front end still, but not as ugly as the preceeding several years. Side & back look good. 4 cyl engine kills it for me.
No they didn’t 😂
The 500h is just embarrassing
It can’t even outperform a rav4 prime or even a Camry v6 both of which can already do 0-60 in 5.5-5.8 seconds
Yet the RX costs significantly more while still being based on a Camry platform
Combine that with dated styling, poor handling, a Toyota grade interior, useless tech nobody asked for, cramped rear seats, lacking features, and the fact that it can get very expensive make the RX an easy nonstarter
Nah, you havent diven one, he did. this is even better than a gv70 or 80 hyndai cars. Those car were designed to be a little faster because it needs tp vet to the service fast when it starts to break
