    9 years ago I was undergoing chemo. I felt very sick , nauseous and drained. I still worked at the office. At lunchtime, I barely could eat, but I COULD do some qi gong exercises and it really helped with the nausea, pain and exhaustion....every time I did some qi gong, it recharged my batteries enough to make it thru the day. When I told my dad I was doing this, he said "duh! Of course it helps!"
    My dad studied tai chi in the late 60's and early 70's and still does it

    I'm based in Singapore and learning Yi Jin Jing. It is challenging for the beginner and so glad to find a high quality video for reference in between classes. Even more surprised to know you are based in USA! 💪

    This is excellent, especially with the helpful annotations to remind us of specific aspects.
    I first learned this in 2018 in a park Tai Chi class where I live in Madrid. I must have watched at least 20 different videos to help me understand how best to do this exercise. This video here is one of the best I've seen. The pace is perfect. Your flow and precision of movements is something to aim for. Thank you for sharing.

      Thank you so much 🙏❤️ I recorded this back in 2020 and used the video to teach with but didn't get a chance to make it into a TH-cam video until now. Since I've had more experience with video editing now I was able to add in some text that I thought might be helpful. Glad you found it useful!

    Is your body relax throughout the exercises of do you tense and relax some part of your body during the exercises?
    And do you visualize any chi energy coming into the body during the exercises?
    Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

    • @AipingTaiChi
      @AipingTaiChi  ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Not relaxed the whole time. You want to exert effort when you are pushing out. The Yi Jin Jing exercises are about strengthening up the tendons and ligaments so we do have to get them engaged and active. We tense and then release so the blood and qi can increase the flow and circulation. With all the Qigong exercises, the breath leads the movements and breath and energy are one and the same so energy does come in.
      I have a Yi Jin Jing series if you want to check it out. You can access my all my Tai Chi and Qigong instructional videos via Patreon at the Master Stressbender ($25/month) level via www.patreon.com/AipingTaiChi or you can just purchase the Yi Jin Jing series directly: vimeo.com/ondemand/yijinjing
