Leather can be tanned in all different ways. This is an older style and I remember leather like this in the 60’s and 70’s when leather crafting was popular. It can be sewn and worked with much easier than the stiffer leather that we commonly see today. Your comments are convincing me I want one
Really enjoyed seeing your flip through ❤ it's giving me ideas for my Plotter that I've been saving. You have a great variety of inserts that I wouldn't have thought of without this video. Thanks for sharing 😊 loving the Plotter content
I’m in the hope that if we purchase enough from Amazon Japan, Amazon will eventually import those products to our “local” Amazon sites 😂 I don’t know if it’s related, but I remember clearly that not many years ago there was barely anything from Midori on Amazon ca except for their very basic a5 notebooks (I’m in Canada). Now I can even find the one page a day lineup there. It feels like a win.
Loved seeing your flip through! That weekly layout is really nice and the fountain pen cleaning tracker is such a good idea! I’ve been enjoying planning in my Plotter Bible too but need be more consistent in my setup, there are just too many layouts and pages I want to include. 😅
Thanks for checking out my flip thru! I absolutely still love my Plotter Bible size. Can definitely see myself using into 2025. I know what you mean about wanting to include so many different layouts/inserts. I also like how it restricts me to be mindful and selective in my set up :) Sorry for the late reply but thanks so much for your comment.
This video was very helpful. I'm planning on buying Nolty Bindex, Life Noble, and Knox bible size inserts on Amazon Japan and it's nice to see what they look like in real life. If you're still on the hunt for 68gsm Tomoe River paper inserts, Yoseka Stationery carries them from the brand Raymay Davinci. Raymay also makes a proprietary 64gsm Tomoe River paper refill. Do you have a tutorial for printing inserts on thin Tomoe River paper?
Thanks, I was able to order my 68 gsm from my local shop. I do not have a tutorial for printing on TRP. I believe mylifemits had made a video about it in the past.
Glad you're enjoying your plotter. I love how you're using it. Curious were the edges of leather turning black before or after the black crochet pouch? Seems strange the brown leather would patina black only on the edges.
@@Saturdays.Script I think it was around the same time when I started putting it in the crochet pouch. Can't say for sure but I guess it would make sense that the yarn could have made it darker. I guess I just can't win! 🙃
@toxmot I have a black crochet crossbody that transfers color to my clothes. I think burnished edges will definitely make it uniquely yours and give it a cool look! 😎
Hello! I love your set up , it's so beautiful! I had to let you know that I recently ordered 68 gsm TRP from GoodInkInpressions. They come pre-cut and hole-punched and you can choose from blank pages to dots, squares or lines, and yes, they come in the Cream. The company is located in Spain and I can recommend them warmly.
@@quinn.leftyplans I don't think it would work any different. The rings would be on the right side of my right hand when writing on the left page and the rings would be on your left side when writing on the right side page.
Hello! just wanted to ask about your inserts. In other reviews they say they trim the personal inserts (those not from plotter for example those from filofax) because they get caught in the rings. Did you experience this as well? This is what makes me hesitate getting a plotter for myself and would love to hear about your experience. Thank you!
If you put too much inserts into the plotter (more than it was meant to fit), you will find that it gets hard to turn the pages a little bit but it doesn’t really bother me. You can trim the inner side of the sheets a bit and it will help for sure but I didn’t bother. To my understanding, this can happen to any personal size inserts and not only Filofax because all personal size inserts are the same size. This will also happen to non-plotter binders too, it happened in my other Filofaxes before too (so I don’t like to make my binders too chunky). Hope that helps.
I’m wary of using amazon japan now as i was scammed $420 after I ordered from them. Luckily bank refunded but took awhile. Love your plotter, I’m getting more and more tempted 😍
Oh my, did your amzn jpn order get lost? How did they scam you? I know it is a risk if anything happens because I don't speak Japanese and calling customer service would be very hard if not impossible. I'm glad you got your money back but I'd be weary too if something like this happened.

i really like the kokuyo 64 GSM paper. I buy it in cream and white on the Amazon US.

It's thicker and maybe feels a bit smoother, but I really like it and the price. @toxmot

Hi. Is there a printer that you recommend? Thanks so much! P.S. I LOVE the crochet pocket that your mother made for you. It's perfect!
I have used the canon pixma ix series and find it is pretty reliable.

I think you're right, it must be the yarn unfortunately.
