Thank you for sharing! Your art is so stunning, and i really appreciate hearing about all your tools you use. I just got a hobonichi and plan to use it like a sketchbook too! Those travel palletes look soooo nice!
That does look like a really cool cover. I was eyeing it, but I missed it. It's OK, though, I do not need any more A6 Hobonichi covers! LOL. Tragen reminds me of the Ateliers Penelope journal pouch I got from Baum Kuchen awhile back, except that doesn't have the folio pockets of course. It's also bigger - it can hold a TN. It can hold my A5 Seven Seas notebook in a Suprior Labor simple leather cover, but only if I don't put much (if anything) in the two zipper pockets.
Sometimes it's worth it to get something that's sold out and other times it really isn't lol. I guess I justified in my mind that it will greatly improve the ease of sticking to a new habit I'm trying to build 😂 Thankfully I did not buy a hobonichi cover in September 🙃 (The lies we tell ourselves)
Hey, I usually look to Pinterest for floral and nature photos for inspiration. If I see something like a pretty flower or an insect, I will re-create it in another arrangement (so I'm not directly copying). Sometimes if I already know I want to draw a bee (for example), I'll just google bee images. Hope that helps.
Thanks for sharing and all the great detail on the case :) 6:07 where do all these cool square artworks come from? I can’t quite tell if they’re pasted in or you painted them, but it sounded like you said they weren’t done by you?
How are you finding watercolours on the TR Sanzen paper? All mine are prone to bleed through now and I'm gutted about it. Never had this issue with the old paper :(
The watercolours on Sanzen is similar to the old TRP I find - but I’ve always had to be very careful not to add too much water. I will say that the Sanzen is more prone to bleeds.
@@kamisorix5072 Yes, it’s quite a lot unfortunately-much more if you think in CAD currency. I’m suspecting it is due to the inclusion of leather parts.
@@toxmot naa, there are cheaper full leather covers. I think they know we will suck it up regardless because we want it. But I was on the edge on this one.
@@kamisorix5072 I completely agree regarding the cost. I like this idea. I have an art satchel I bring everywhere (so, same idea as this cover, but a bag 😊). So this minimal setup is neat - except the cost. I looked it up and thought maybe I was looking at a grey market shop (I figured it was bought to turn around and sell for more), but no, it was the actual price - for a canvas pouch. =/ I know a majority of the cost is simply the brand. I may get something on Etsy instead; to support a small artist and there’s options to customize/personalize - for significantly less. I’ve seen waxed canvas and all leather for a fraction of the cost. Best of luck with your choice!

I love those arttoolkit palettes. They can fit in anywhere. I do find it very hard to keep up the art regularly!
I love your artwork, I’m inspired, especially with your bold use of color and filling up the whole page. Thanks for sharing!
omg the demi palette! so dang cute! loved everything ❤
Just saw you posted…immediately dropped everything and liked the video before completely watching because I know it’s going to good! ❣️✨
Hehe thank you thank you!! 🩵
I just got mine today and it’s so perfect.

Hi! Where do you get you inspiration from? How do you decide what you want to draw on a daily basis? Thanks!

I love this! 😍😍😍
Hey, thanks so much!!! :)
Looks fantastic!
It is! Are you thinking of getting one? P+C will be getting limited stock😉
What is the name of the brushpen you have with fountain pen ink? I use a pentel pocket brushpen, but your brushpen also looks really good

I painted them all with POSCA paint markers :)

Love that! What does TOXMOT mean?
I get this question every once in awhile; it is an imaginary name for an art project back in uni. Thx for watching ☺️
What's up with the prices of the Tragen?!
You mean on Amazon or Hobonichi?
both! the A5 cost 70 bucks just for the cover
