Fabulous video, so many great tips thanks! 🤩 Such an important message about preservatives. Amazing how many people put videos on YT showing how to make things that have water in it but they don't include a preservative. Or they say it's self-preserving for whatever rubbish reason. So dangerous.
Thanks Pamela, much appreciated. Haha, always laughing here. I received your e-mail. Will respond soon! Oh and fancy, getting the TH-cam name done 😉 🙏🙏🙏
You are so clever!! I hope your thumb is ok. I love the irony! I was messaging you to tell you what a messy soaper I was and you had a spill!! That’s something I would do but much worse!!😂😂. Great video. You are so knowledgeable. Take good care of your thumb! Xx Cass.
Thank you for sharing this George and including us in your process. You always share quality content. I am the same way - it has to be right or I won’t be satisfied. I too am a perfectionist. My husband calls me an “excellist” (not a real word).
Thanks DeDe, thought it would be good to take everyone on the learning adventure with me (even the spilling one 😂) Oh, well he did come up with a good word. I'll take that! 🤣😊🙏🙏🙏
Thanks Judith. Preferably it will be perfumers alcohol as it has a low / neutral odour otherwise it will smell of alcohol which is not what we want. Usually they come in 95% strength
Thanks Ivon and welcome. You can, but the purpose of perfumers grade it doesn't smell, other alcohols will smell like ethanol and if you're wanting to pleasantly fragrance a room it will be noticeable. Just like actual perfumes use perfumer's grade otherwise it would be unpleasant 🙏
If you find it too sticky, then just do 2:1 ratio of polysorbate80 and fragrance ratio, it will be cloudy, but much less sticky. I showed how much to add if you want it clear

I always learn something new watching your videos!1 question, using alcohol as the preservative At 95%, Was that any type of particular alcohol?
Thanks Judith. Preferably it will be perfumers alcohol as it has a low / neutral odour otherwise it will smell of alcohol which is not what we want. Usually they come in 95% strength
Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching 🙏🙏🙏
Groooovy intro music, George 😄
Hehe thanks Elaine 😊🙏🙏🙏
@@DawnOrganics Came back to finish watching the video. Lots of good info, as usual, George.
Thanks Elaine 😊🙏🙏🙏
Is there need to add preservatives
No because of the alcohol content
New to your channel, ty so much for sharing. Question the alcohol can it be 99% or it has to be the perfumers grade alcohol. Ty so much
