Can anyone on here answer a question I've never heard discussed? Anyone! On the warm up shut down, why does the crewman undo the line with a wrench and a rag to clean up the spilled fuel???? Wouldn't a shut off valve right in the line be easier? Quicker? Cleaner? Safer? What am I missing? HELP! :)

Wouldn't it be nice if NHRA rules would allow affected tracks to use a backboard on the tree like on a basketball hoop. At certain times of the morning that bright sun is like the top bulb on the tree and it's the only lit bulb you can see.
