While this is unfortunate, any bets on seat belts not being used in the crash? And before anyone complains about what I've said, what is your defense for not using seat belts? Their loss could be the message it takes for others to use belts saving THEM.
@bobroberts2371 99.9% of Aussies wear belts mate. Cops are absolutely all over it down here. We are overpoliced up to our eyeballs. Congrats to Bryant Goldstone, all the hard work, the perseverance to make the finish amd win it. Comgrats to Alex Taylor and Dennis Taylor for being able to run 6's every day and for coming so close to the top, its been a long time coming. It is just awesome to see this all happen, all the racers putting it down. Got to meet and see some great people this week - Alex, Dennis, Debbie, and Megan Taylor, Mike Finnegan, Tony Angelo, Rick Johnson of Gear Vendors who we had the pleasure of having a extended converstions with beyond just automotive, and others. An amazing week for sure! Thank you for the great coverage!
Bryant Goldstone is not only a bad ass driver and wrench, but lot of credit has to go to Brian Robbins. He is also a brainy intelligent mechanic and tuner. And if you have ever met these two guys, they are the most humble and honest guys in the sport. And a huge amount of credit has to go to Alex and Dennis Taylor. They did it without working up a sweat, sixes all 5 days.
Such a well deserved win 🏆 by Brian and his team. They worked so hard for this! Congratulations to them and thank you for the great coverage over the last few days. Fantastic.
Thanks for the excellent coverage guys. My heart sank at the start of the week because I didn’t think we’d get good coverage. You’ve far exceeded my expectations. Fantastic editing too. Love the owner interviews edited with their passes. Perfect flow. Huge thanks from a UK drag n drive fan

Great racing. So much fun to watch and listen to the power. Goldstone is hardcore racing. If you have a really fast car it is a major game to just make it to the end, much less win. Amazing the improvement in parts because of drag and drive. The parts must survive more than a few seconds. They have to last time and time again. Even new spark plug wires can mess you up. Everything is at the limit. Street looking cars are now running fuel rail times when I was young. Amazing.

Dumb. Cleetus got plenty of wins and tons of passes with Pete’s engine. It wasn’t until he ran out of fuel pump and over revved to 10K rpm several times did he hurt it.
Not dumb,it's completely stupid, Pete Harold is a extremely smart individual, Mike clearly stated that he over reved the motor and the valve train gave up,its pretty clear this person has no clue, the valve train in these higher power, high rpm engines are usually the first things to fail, and pushing it past that point only makes it break that much quicker, NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ENGINE BUILDER
