Lamb understands and remembers everything Kindred went through but can't feel it. Wolf on the other hand feels everything but doesn't understand everything.
To be fair, in games like League even miliseconds matter, so 4 seconds is actually insane and are game-changing.

That VO of Lamb telling Wolf the story of the Pale Man is COLD COMFORT. It's that relaxing sensation that warms your guts but simultaneously fills the back of your neck with cold goosebumps.
Those two stories were indeed Swain and Pantheon. The first one I'm not really sure, but it could be the Fading Icon, although it is hiding from the Etherfiend, so I don't know why the Kindred would be there when it dies.
As a side note, those voice lines that trigger when they mark you are great for building up paranoia when you play against them. Nothing makes me as skittish as minding my own business in the lane and suddenly having them shout "The masks of the Kindred seek you" in my ear. Or, well, there was nothing like that until they reworked Warwick.
The first one is any spirit that dies. Eventually, all will met Kindred.
27:00 Dude, us Kindred players truly bitched and moaned about the lack of skins. Kindred was, at one point, one of the champions with the least skins in the game. Once Spirit Blossom came out, we rejoiced LOUDLY. And, what a gorgeous skin, too!

for Lamb not feeling sad: Lamb lacks the ability to feel and Wolf lacks the knowledge of their 'past life'. while Wolf asks for stories, Lamb asks about feelings.

Kindred is one of my favorite psychopomps in all of fiction, right up there with the Loving Reaper, Death from Discworld, and La Dama Del Alba.
In Kindred's story, the "pale man" is them before they split into two.. they're the death symbol in Runeterra and kind of Yin and Yang as well.. there's darkness in the Lamb and light in the Wolf. Lamb gives the ones that accept death a painless passing and Wolf brutally murders those who run from death. One is deaf, the other can't see. One can understand emotions, but can't feel, the other can feel, but can't understand.
In runeterra apparently their all multiple versions of the grim reaper aka death, Kindred is just the most popular and in turn most powerful one and the ether friend is basically the grim reaper for grim reapers, so when one version of the reaper no longer has anyone who believes in them the ether fiend comes to kill them hence the fading icon who was a reaper who lost its status and now is being hunted, in the ether fiends card art we can see it got to him and he doesn’t look so good.
12:30 actually 4 seconds is extremely long in MOBA game for example normally stuns and others crowd control abilities only last about 0.5 to 1 seconds and that little time frame can literally save/lose you your life

It still amazes me how Mordekaiser cheated death just because he never knew about the kindred tale, he was only taught about the hall of bones.
Not only abot Kindred but any of existed spirits.
And also Morde wasn't only one and not even the first one, many, many souls like him were lost already, they just accept it, while Morde learned how to use it.
Stumbled upon your channel and I’m enjoying all your reactions so far! As someone who is absolutely obsessed with kindred it’s awesome to see more people getting into their lore. So crazy to think when I started playing they only had two skins. Shadowfire was my fav until spirit blossom finally came out.

To Kindred, immortality is but a fleeting escape from meeting them. Immortals, gods, demons, undead. These are just temporary things. Kindred is the inevitable end of all things including themselves.
Actually you're wrong here. Immortality for Kindred is the most dangerous thing. As from the Fading Icon lore we know that those who are immortal don't believe in a death spirits. And even those who were mortal but became immortal with time stopped believing in them.
And for Kindred believers are everything, as they are God-Spirits.
Like honestly I don't know how can you write those things as you literally in this video hear them interacting with The Ethrefiend and Fading Icon about being forgotten and how it's dangerous for Spirit-Gods

I saw this quote under a different lore video about kindred and believe it summed them up pretty well.
"Lamb understands emotions but doesn't feel them. Wolf feels emotions but doesn't understand them."
52:00 probably about Swain, he lost a arm but got a demon's power, wich he uses trying to make Noxus remain, they are basicaly saying that nothing is eternal so Noxus wont last forever.
You should also listen to all of those spirits voicelines. There is more about all of them in their voicelines. You can do it on your own time in wiki.
You really should react to Gangplank! He must be one of the most important characters in regards of what his rework did for both the game and the lore as we now have it.
Disguised as just a rework, the event of "Burning tides" came out of nowhere with two game modes and a lot of stories releasing every day involving the other Bilgewater characters. I wouldn't say you have to read all of the burning tides acts, but its success was how Riot decided to start giving rioters the freedom to move forward Runaterra's stories, and it actually has the very first set up for Viego.
Adding to that, Gangplank also has an impact in the Ruined King game, and both the game and the Ruination take place after the events of Burning tides, thus, all the Virgo modern lore derives from it.
in the card game the faded icon was the kindred from the ruined island, so now that everyone is a undead, no one remember him and so he is destined to disapear, whe see he is being chased by a etherfiend, who is a "super-reaper" who came to claim the soul of others reapers...
we also see the "first wave and the last wind" who are the ionia version of kindred ( a snake and a sparow) and the spirit fox is raposa another version of the kindred. the freljord version of kindred is say to be "two stone decorated elk" so there is a chance is "he who stare" and "she wo endure" two creatures with no explanation in the lore

She Who Wanders, They Who Endure and It That Stares are Balestriders, corrupted by Void versions of ancient Freljordian creatures.
41:10 "A Good Death" is my favorite LoL side story.. i hope you got around to checking it out. There are also like 2 audio versions on TH-cam that are pretty cool.
i just love listening to anything kindred, for your own enjoyment i'd recommend reading A Good Death. it gives a more in depth look into what it means to run/accept your death. Ive really been loving watching you deep dive into all these champions, even though ive been somewhat following the lore i keep learning things here and there. So thanks! If you wanted to get a quicker video out can i recommend Twitch? Ive seen people theorize that the rat in the beginning of arcane that is being givin shimmer to kill a cat will turn into twitch. or if you want some newer region champs maybe try out Neeko? she is fun :)
So the interaction with Gangplank is cool.
Way back when, there was an event called The Burning Tides where Sarah Fortune took revenge on her family’s killer: Gangplank. He supposedly “died” and then removed from the game entirely because of said death. Only later to return to Bildgewater and in-game as the reworked GP we know today. It was a mad event that made the player base go insane, like all the notification said was “Gangplank has been killed and has been removed from the game” or something.
So Kindred’s interaction with him is alluding to that event.
That is my Favorite And I still used it to this day. "Never One Without the Other".
Yeah those player champion skins are sold I think multiple times per year but usually during contests like Worlds
skins like the DRX one you can buy when they come out and get from chests you can open.

So because Kindred is death they appear to everyone who is about to die. So they are basically omnipotent. They are everywhere at once. They claim the soul but not the body. The death in the real world is through worldly means like an axe but in the death realm they "fight" Kindred at that time.
The few people who got away from them are mostly mortals that are immortal through some means like Tryndamere is through his undying rage that he got through Atrox's blood magic.

Amumu's origins are unknown as of today, however he is most likely a Cursed Mummy from Shurima. His curse is that anyone who comes into contact with him dies. So kindred is likely afraid to amumu when they interact at the game.
You can watch the music video "The Curse of the Sad Mummy" so you may know a little story of Amumu.
54:40 I think the other commenters were wrong. Amumu is cursed to be alone, so that can make death all around him, but it means all around him dislike him. Wolf saying to stay away is likely a joke at Amumu's curse.
In the story i feel like their all already dead and Kindred is basically shepherding them off to the beyond. It probably them embracing their final moments again as Kindred comes to collect them well, the few that don't want to leave, run from wolf.
That's my idea, i would like to hear anyone else's.

the reagional skins r made for fiddlesticks btw, but for kindred no cuz people dont play her, so riot wont have much money from it.

Fandom is just such an inaccurate site jesus christ. Like just none of it shows up in what we ACTUALLY know about Kindred. "Oh yeah resurrection is cheating" says who? Timeline disruption is "fascinating"? Has Kindred ever talked to Ekko or Zilean? No, not that has shown up in stories we have. Crunchy? Creamy?
imto its the biggest mistake using skin spotlight soulless videos on voicelines while there are obviously better variants
