And inversely, we don't know his true name or even his true form and just call him "Fiddlesticks". So fucking cool. I want to main him so bad but I suck at playing jungle and he's also not a hyper carry type of champion.
@@gebdemedicihe’s a pretty complex character he is a carry, like ap carry with a good ulti you will 100% win a team fight but that relies on amazing positioning vision control. If you learn those skills the champions skills themselves are very straight forward but your main thing is being able to find a position where the enemy doesn’t know where you are to channel your ult and wipe the enemy team

@@gebdemedici yeah I mean tbh it’s a hard thing to do even for more veteran players but it does take practice. And like I said mechanically he’s a very easy and straight forward champion (with some interesting tech in the jungle - being able to drain red and raptors at the same time and same with blue and groom to really speed your clear). And that’s great because having him be so easy should allow you to focus on learning the extremely complicated and difficult strategies of vision control and hiding in the shadows having the enemy guess where your going to be next. His play style is honestly a really fitting embodiment of what that champ stands for he can be a truly terrifying force. Just expect to do really poorly as your learning about vision control and positioning. He’s very much a feast or famine champion and if you don’t position yourself right you just will feel very useless and squishy. I played a ton of fiddle but as I climbed up to plat I was not good enough to pilot him because people are better at vision control and tracking you and I was not good enough to learn to avoid the vision and I realized I like to skirmish too much to main fiddle :P

So the young mage that summoned Fiddlesticks is more than likely a callback to Fiddlesticks' original lore, in which he was a demons summoned from an unknown plane that instantly drove anyone who saw him insane with fear.
Yup. The farmer that came back after getting killed in the field is also one of his old lores. The writers are basically saying that nobody knows where Fiddle came from, so might as well drop all the myths and legends about him.

So, let me answer some questions again: "Why hasn't Shaco been mentioned to me?" Well, that's because Shaco's lore is literally non-existant. His background is just one paragraph, basically saying 'No one knows anything about him, make up your own story.' There are spell descriptions, which are significantly longer than all of his lore. Even Rammus, a meme character who only has like 3 voicelines (which are "OK", "Yeah" and "Hm") has ten times more lore than Shaco. Riot didn't know what to do with him after the big lore update, so they kinda put him on hold and completely forgot about him ever since. "Is Shaco a demon?" Currently not. Maybe they will turn him into one with an update. "What was changed ability-wise?" The main change is his passive. Currently he summons those duplicates of himself, which can act as wards and play mind-games. Before the rework he would just completly freeze if he stood still for a while and then get a huge movement speed buff. The other abilities were pretty similar, but they got a bit more up-to-date. Like one was just a point-and-click spell and is a skillshot now. Yes, there are some champions, who often get played with the same skin. I guess the Fiddlesticks one I see most is the surprise party skin, because it has additional voicelines and new effects. Personally, I like the Risen one. In this he has scarabs instead of crows, which I find really cool. I don't see him get played that often. He is all about coming in from surprising angles/being a jump scare, so if you ward well and know his usual spots, you can play around him pretty well. But a good Fiddlesticks (especially in lower elos), can carry the game and win teamfights by themselves! "It's the fear of mages that brought him back, right?" Well, yes and no. It is one factor, but think about all the mages hiding in Demacia. They live in constant fear of being found out, imprisoned and getting experimented on/tortured in prison. Plus the whole civil war in general. Demacia also shares borders with Noxus and Freljord, who are both infamous for raiding and conquering. Those in the outer regions (where Fiddlesticks currently is) have more than enough reasons to be afraid. Tahm Kench has a lot of stuff! He also got a mini-rework some time ago. Yeah, I would wait before doing Nocturne. He doesn't have much lore right now and his voicelines still talk about pre-2014 stuff. But LoR gave him a huge boost! If they rework him in the same direction, it's going to be great! Regarding his interactions: - Jinx: It's a reference to Arcane Episode 3. "All your fault" -> Setting off the bomb, which killed most of her family. - Soraka: There's nothing deep here. She is called the "Star Child" and talks a lot about stars. So he is just mimicking her. It's a bit odd that he interacts with her, because they have no lore connection and she isn't in Demacia. It's the same for Nunu. - Sylas: Vannis was the mage-seeker guy controling/supervising Sylas as a child. When they found a little mage girl in hiding, Sylas asked him to spare her. Vannis refused and in the resulting argument Sylas accidently killed both him and the girl, because he couldn't control his powers. This was the first time he noticed that he can steal other people's powers, so he didn't know how to properly release the energy. - Vayne: Her parents were killed by Evelynn. Vayne came home while she did it and Evelynn just turned around and taunted Vayne with that line. It's a callback to her worst memory. "I feel like I need to do an Annie reaction, but her stuff is old, right?" Lore-wise she got a huge update not too long ago. She is also in LoR and connected to the whole demon stuff! (That is in a newer short story though, not the standard color story that gets linked in the background). But yeah, her LoL voicelines are just a few child-rhymes and such. Yes, it's the same voice actor doing standard and surprise party Fiddlesticks.
Im fairly certain soraka is actually the star child because a star fell to runeterra and that was essentially her birth. She is a star given human form essentially and i think a direct polar opposite to fiddles who has been around since time started as a dark entity, where soraka is an entity of pure light
All of Annie's voicelines with Fiddlesticks reference a stepsister she had who drowned while Annie tried to save her with a stick. That's why he references holding on. Vayne hasn't smiled since her parents death so his voiceline taunts her w the death of her parents. And Nunu's mother called him her little hero before she died leaving him an orphan
i feel like the theme indicates that when the woman and the girl singing is like all things are quiet and as the thing build up, is now run and hide but when the theme stops. "Quiet, dont breath, dont move, hide!... it found us!" then when the chorus hits is gives me the vibe of fiddlestick is there and found them.
Scary how most of Fiddle's lines are just mimicked from its victims. But what's even more terrifying is realising that same goes for its breathing (and out-of-breath) sounds.
Currently the thought on the keys is that there are more than 4 keys, its just that she stole the only one he had gathered so far, the keys have to do with the ritual that summoned him into his current, weakened, damaged form. And, if he was to ever get all of the keys again, he may be able to recover a much fuller presence, closer to his true form, even if that form is somewhat bound still by the other Creators.

Fiddlestick had a major update which also included updated splash art a couple years ago. His original model went from goofy creepy scarecrow (he's one of the original 40 champs) with normal voice lines to this scary disfigured looking one.

Gameplay wise, the only thing they really changed was his passive and his E His old passive, if i remember correctly, was just a debuff that would make enemies have either reduced magic resist or just take bonus magic damage near him. His old E was him throwing out a crow that bounced between targets. His new one is just him swiping his scythe. He was a little goofy scarecrow with a playful yet gravely voice. The new one is just an amorphous blob of shadows and eyes that controls an approximation of a scarecrow. Fun fact, the voice actor for fiddlesticks can do the voice pretty damn close to how it is in game, just without the eerie reverb they gave it.

The Winter's Claw is headed by Sejuani (the one on the giant boar in The Call), and they are the ones who travel to Demacia and Noxus raiding along the borders for food and equipment to survive the frigid winters up North. 13:15 Fossbarrow is a site where Demacia believes mages were behind a bunch of killings and nightmares, but it was because of another demon (Nocturne). There is a story about Lux, Garen, and Fossbarrow for whenever you react to Nocturne (If they ever decide to rework him). It's called "For Demacia" and is not shown in Nocturne's page on Universe, but gives you context for him, Fossbarrow, and Demacia as a whole.
The oldest skins like the classic from 2009 look so good because its actually from 2020. Fiddle was reworked in 2020 so all of the skins released prior to his rework look different ingame and got new splash arts. For some champions they do new splash arts now and then even if they dont completely rework the champion or in some cases they only update splash arts without doing anything else. So if a skin looks too good for how old it is its probably been updated at some point.

The skin dates ARE NOT the dates for the skins after their rework. Ex, you saw the Fiddle rework skins came out a few years ago, but the wiki said original was 2009. That's when the champ and skin first came out, NOT when it's look was updated. Same with Ahri. And Caitlyn. And any other champ with a full visual update. Also, the only correct skin for fiddle is Surprise Party Fiddlesticks. It's one of those skins where playing the skin is SIGNFICANTLY better than what it's art alone would imply. Surprise Party I'd say is the most used Fiddle skin, it has new voicelines and the concept is super fun, besides, the League community is a bunch of clowns so it fits perfectly 😂
Personal favorite is Surprise Party Fiddlesticks because A. It’s legendary so his voice lines are different and B. It is the only skin that I know of that actually changes the ability icons

Fiddle was summoned in a tower that only summoners were allowed to go in. Fiddlesticks killed the summoner with ease “which shouldn’t have been possible” they they instead had to abandoned that tower and locked it up. Anyone who entered had their head instantly cut off by fiddlesticks scythe he used to carry with the original model. So they used the tower as an execution method and would send prisoners into it to die to fiddle
this is the theory there are more than 1 fiddlesticks, every region has different fiddlesticks explanation in their legends as we remember fiddlesticks first of ten fiddlesticks end of men, Bilgewater. Demacia. Freljord. Ionia. Noxus. Piltover & Zaun. Shadow Isles. Shurima. 10 regions 10 fiddlesticks also you can see maybe 4 of these as skins.
Riot already confirm first of tean and 10 kings mean there is 10 primordial demon, 1 is fiddlestick and the second is ashley the demon that make contract with nillah
my favorite skin is probably Dark Candy or Star Nemesis. on one hand Dark Candy was the first skin i ever bought back in 2012 when it first came out and i have some nostalgic attachment to it, but Star Nemesis is just a great skin in the noise department
Soraka is a celestial that chose to live among mortals. If anything, she is something that Fiddlesticks can't handle either because she is all about healing and star magic or simply because she's a powerful celestial. So powerful in fact, that the mortal form she uses often gets damaged due to the raw power when casting magic. It's reflected in-game when she casts spells, she loses a bit of health.

If Fiddlesticks was in a major city that city would probably be dead. Outside of being game balanced he’s hinted at being one of the strongest and most dangerous being’s period. One of the other Ten Kings nearly ate the entire realm of the gods and while the gods won they couldn’t kill that thing only seal it away and Fiddle is the most terrifying of the Ten. “Fiddlesticks first of ten.” He’s a force of nature, not something mundane mortals have any hope of truly fighting. He’s either the first or one of the very first beings to exist. At the very least he’s the oldest and most powerful demon.
In case you didn`t watch Arcane, Jinx was a "trouble" girl, who always tried to be usefull, but instead ruined everything. At one moment she messed up so much, that she killed her friends and step-father. Her elder sister, Vi, saw that and said that line. Getting her sister mad at her and then abandon her, Jinx broke... and all other parts of that story is spoiler.
One cool thing about fiddlesticks login screen music is that the adult female and the young female is actually fiddlesticks using their own voices! a tale of their own demise and the story of fiddle in one! pretty neat

Some of the reason you may be vibing with some of his old skins, even over newer ones, is that they redid all his splash arts when he got reworked a couple of years ago. So none of his splash arts show the age that is apparent with some champs. Surprise Party (by a mile), Pumpkin Head and Spectral are the ones I tend to see the most in game.

A good chunk of the community is starting to speculate that the "ink mage" who is slated to be released near the end of this year might be the young mage who summoned Fiddlesticks ages ago. Now of course, we don't know anything for sure, since the Ink mage has been announced and teased a while back, but hasn't been released yet, but we know that he is Ionian, he is an artist and he possibly lives in a tower (since that's the image they used to tease him, that of an Ionian tower) and he is possibly related to demons in some way, hence why the community is heavily speculating he's gonna be the one who summoned Fiddlesticks, because of the tower and the demon parts. We'll see, it will definitely be pretty cool if they managed to hide this huge secret in plain sight😍
Completely wrong, its a call back to fiddle original lore, summoners would summon heroes to fight instead of armies. League of legends Someone accidentally summoned fiddle in the summoners tower, they couldn’t control him like all the other heroes summoned, so the summoner who summoned him died in a room in the tower, so it was locked and forever used as an execution room. They would send prisoners into it to be killed. In original league lore summoners “ the players” were technically more powerful than the heroes they summoned. Except fiddlesticks

The fun thing about Fiddlesticks is that the demon doesn't understand language. At all. It's just been around for so long that it found out how to make sounds that exacerbate its victims' fear, making the meal better.
just as an fyi i don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet but the voice actor for fiddlesticks says that even with vocal practise the voice of fiddlestick is very difficult to do and very hard on his voice as it requires talking while inhaling air (normally ppl talk when exhailing) and doing that repeatedly is actually apperantly supper dangerous.
it's kinda too old to say that i guess... But the thing about fiddle (not clown one) is that he isn't sentient. He is a primalistic demon creature without actual mind but with instinct and hunger... And requires fears to eat. One of the tools he uses without actual planing to do so - is mimicking the voice of his victims. And also can voice out their fears. He simply doesn't have his own phrases. The closest thing is calling out names of other demons or kindred's nature.

Star Nemesis Fiddlesticks is great in-game, the effects and sounds. The design is a bit over the top and abstract cause it's inspired by the witches from "Madoka Magica". In the SG universe they're actually a corrupted guardian who turned into a monster, you can see their pet (all guardians have one) locked in a cage.
The current working theory is that Fiddlestix was the 10th creator. We know of the 9 from other world lore, and they are always PAINFULLY clear saying there was only ever 9… but, what if the last creator, the one they wanted us to forget, was the creator of all things that bring terror, pain, and fright… and Fiddlestix is naught but their shadow cast upon the dark of night.
Before Sylas got revealed as a champion, there was a short story on universe about him and his time in the mage seekers as a boy. Vannis is one of the two mage seekers Sylas travelled with. "Her" is a little girl who is a mage and accidentally kills the third mage seeker. Vannis is about to hurt her. Well, things dont work out like that, Sylas is on the run, eventually he gets captured (two mage seekers are dead and hes a mage who fled the scene) and thats how his imprisonment begins.
The surprise party skin happened because the coming wanted it. It came about because of how he's played. You sit in a bush waiting and surprise ppl with your ultimate.
I like how he said 'almost sounds like screams'. It... yeah it's... obviously screams, lol. It's not your interpretation or almost, it is literally screams.
So fun fact the whole mages comment is due to the event that happened in fossbarrow where a demon was causing people nightmares and this demon was nocturne, ryze's father beat this demon and then ryze had to take up the mantle and ever since then because of this people blamed the carelesness of mages and loads of people hate mages due to this.
I interpret the young mage bit as how the damacians explain Fiddlesticks while working their underlying dislike of mages into the story, kind of blaming them for Fiddlesticks returning essencially saying "without foolish mages we wouldnt have this problem on our hands".

I think it's pretty safe to say that Annie is not getting her lore rewritten, the main thing she'd probably get is an art update but almost every bit of lore you find should be the definitive lore that they're going to keep
something to keep in mind, the dates on the skin releases are a bit fraudulent. since it displays the date for the skin of Pre-reworked fiddlesticks, when they were completely remade form the ground up for his rework. every single one improved and totally different. this applies to several other champions when you check them out. like Dr Mundo / Poppy / Warwick / Swain / Sion / Aatrox / Kayle / Morgana and several others. since League has been out for twelve years now eager to see you look more into others
Pretty much all of Fiddlesticks lines are aimed targeting the characters deepest traumas and is a repeat of the last words of people right before he murdered them/they died. Like how Nunu's mother would always call him her little hero. And then there's Surprise party Fiddle which is a shitposting meme lord.

"It's the fear of mages that brought him back, right?" Well, yes and no. It is one factor, but think about all the mages hiding in Demacia. They live in constant fear of being found out, imprisoned and getting experimented on/tortured in prison. Plus the whole civil war in general. Demacia also shares borders with Noxus and Freljord, who are both infamous for raiding and conquering. Those in the outer regions (where Fiddlesticks currently is) have more than enough reasons to be afraid.
Tahm Kench has a lot of stuff! He also got a mini-rework some time ago.
Yeah, I would wait before doing Nocturne. He doesn't have much lore right now and his voicelines still talk about pre-2014 stuff. But LoR gave him a huge boost! If they rework him in the same direction, it's going to be great!
Regarding his interactions:
- Jinx: It's a reference to Arcane Episode 3. "All your fault" -> Setting off the bomb, which killed most of her family.
- Soraka: There's nothing deep here. She is called the "Star Child" and talks a lot about stars. So he is just mimicking her. It's a bit odd that he interacts with her, because they have no lore connection and she isn't in Demacia. It's the same for Nunu.
- Sylas: Vannis was the mage-seeker guy controling/supervising Sylas as a child. When they found a little mage girl in hiding, Sylas asked him to spare her. Vannis refused and in the resulting argument Sylas accidently killed both him and the girl, because he couldn't control his powers. This was the first time he noticed that he can steal other people's powers, so he didn't know how to properly release the energy.
- Vayne: Her parents were killed by Evelynn. Vayne came home while she did it and Evelynn just turned around and taunted Vayne with that line. It's a callback to her worst memory.
"I feel like I need to do an Annie reaction, but her stuff is old, right?" Lore-wise she got a huge update not too long ago. She is also in LoR and connected to the whole demon stuff! (That is in a newer short story though, not the standard color story that gets linked in the background). But yeah, her LoL voicelines are just a few child-rhymes and such.

Im fairly certain soraka is actually the star child because a star fell to runeterra and that was essentially her birth. She is a star given human form essentially and i think a direct polar opposite to fiddles who has been around since time started as a dark entity, where soraka is an entity of pure light
All of Annie's voicelines with Fiddlesticks reference a stepsister she had who drowned while Annie tried to save her with a stick. That's why he references holding on. Vayne hasn't smiled since her parents death so his voiceline taunts her w the death of her parents. And Nunu's mother called him her little hero before she died leaving him an orphan
i feel like the theme indicates that
when the woman and the girl singing is like all things are quiet and as the thing build up, is now run and hide but when the theme stops. "Quiet, dont breath, dont move, hide!... it found us!" then when the chorus hits is gives me the vibe of fiddlestick is there and found them.
Scary how most of Fiddle's lines are just mimicked from its victims. But what's even more terrifying is realising that same goes for its breathing (and out-of-breath) sounds.
You should react to more legendary skin voicelines, many of them are quite entertaining
Currently the thought on the keys is that there are more than 4 keys, its just that she stole the only one he had gathered so far, the keys have to do with the ritual that summoned him into his current, weakened, damaged form. And, if he was to ever get all of the keys again, he may be able to recover a much fuller presence, closer to his true form, even if that form is somewhat bound still by the other Creators.

Fiddlestick had a major update which also included updated splash art a couple years ago. His original model went from goofy creepy scarecrow (he's one of the original 40 champs) with normal voice lines to this scary disfigured looking one.

Gameplay wise, the only thing they really changed was his passive and his E
His old passive, if i remember correctly, was just a debuff that would make enemies have either reduced magic resist or just take bonus magic damage near him.
His old E was him throwing out a crow that bounced between targets. His new one is just him swiping his scythe.
He was a little goofy scarecrow with a playful yet gravely voice. The new one is just an amorphous blob of shadows and eyes that controls an approximation of a scarecrow. Fun fact, the voice actor for fiddlesticks can do the voice pretty damn close to how it is in game, just without the eerie reverb they gave it.

13:15 Fossbarrow is a site where Demacia believes mages were behind a bunch of killings and nightmares, but it was because of another demon (Nocturne). There is a story about Lux, Garen, and Fossbarrow for whenever you react to Nocturne (If they ever decide to rework him). It's called "For Demacia" and is not shown in Nocturne's page on Universe, but gives you context for him, Fossbarrow, and Demacia as a whole.
The oldest skins like the classic from 2009 look so good because its actually from 2020. Fiddle was reworked in 2020 so all of the skins released prior to his rework look different ingame and got new splash arts. For some champions they do new splash arts now and then even if they dont completely rework the champion or in some cases they only update splash arts without doing anything else. So if a skin looks too good for how old it is its probably been updated at some point.
Fiddlestick’s clown skin is my favorite because it makes me feel like the Joker. His clown skin also dances to trap music with metal squeaking sounds
it depends, some champions got singing in the theme btw Fiddlestick talk in third person because he replicate his victims last words So the guy that sayd "the scarecrow took them all, nobody left but me" yeah he jinxed it.
The skin dates ARE NOT the dates for the skins after their rework. Ex, you saw the Fiddle rework skins came out a few years ago, but the wiki said original was 2009. That's when the champ and skin first came out, NOT when it's look was updated. Same with Ahri. And Caitlyn. And any other champ with a full visual update.
Also, the only correct skin for fiddle is Surprise Party Fiddlesticks. It's one of those skins where playing the skin is SIGNFICANTLY better than what it's art alone would imply.

Summoners were more powerful than the heroes summoned. Fiddle was summoned in a tower that only summoners were allowed to go in.
Fiddlesticks killed the summoner with ease “which shouldn’t have been possible” they they instead had to abandoned that tower and locked it up. Anyone who entered had their head instantly cut off by fiddlesticks scythe he used to carry with the original model.
So they used the tower as an execution method and would send prisoners into it to die to fiddle

on one hand Dark Candy was the first skin i ever bought back in 2012 when it first came out and i have some nostalgic attachment to it, but Star Nemesis is just a great skin in the noise department
Soraka is a celestial that chose to live among mortals. If anything, she is something that Fiddlesticks can't handle either because she is all about healing and star magic or simply because she's a powerful celestial. So powerful in fact, that the mortal form she uses often gets damaged due to the raw power when casting magic. It's reflected in-game when she casts spells, she loses a bit of health.

If Fiddlesticks was in a major city that city would probably be dead. Outside of being game balanced he’s hinted at being one of the strongest and most dangerous being’s period. One of the other Ten Kings nearly ate the entire realm of the gods and while the gods won they couldn’t kill that thing only seal it away and Fiddle is the most terrifying of the Ten. “Fiddlesticks first of ten.”
He’s a force of nature, not something mundane mortals have any hope of truly fighting. He’s either the first or one of the very first beings to exist. At the very least he’s the oldest and most powerful demon.
Just an FYI the Zoey and the key thing was either old lore or just a fan suspicion, I forget which. But it isn't an actual thing.
In case you didn`t watch Arcane, Jinx was a "trouble" girl, who always tried to be usefull, but instead ruined everything. At one moment she messed up so much, that she killed her friends and step-father. Her elder sister, Vi, saw that and said that line. Getting her sister mad at her and then abandon her, Jinx broke... and all other parts of that story is spoiler.

I don't know why, but I get some serious John DiMaggio vibes from the Surprise Party Fiddle skin's voice lines.
Some of the reason you may be vibing with some of his old skins, even over newer ones, is that they redid all his splash arts when he got reworked a couple of years ago. So none of his splash arts show the age that is apparent with some champs. Surprise Party (by a mile), Pumpkin Head and Spectral are the ones I tend to see the most in game.
So about the "young mage" who summoned Fiddlesticks. A good chunk of the community is starting to speculate that the "ink mage" who is slated to be released near the end of this year might be the young mage who summoned Fiddlesticks ages ago. Now of course, we don't know anything for sure, since the Ink mage has been announced and teased a while back, but hasn't been released yet, but we know that he is Ionian, he is an artist and he possibly lives in a tower (since that's the image they used to tease him, that of an Ionian tower) and he is possibly related to demons in some way, hence why the community is heavily speculating he's gonna be the one who summoned Fiddlesticks, because of the tower and the demon parts. We'll see, it will definitely be pretty cool if they managed to hide this huge secret in plain sight😍

Someone accidentally summoned fiddle in the summoners tower, they couldn’t control him like all the other heroes summoned, so the summoner who summoned him died in a room in the tower, so it was locked and forever used as an execution room. They would send prisoners into it to be killed.
In original league lore summoners “ the players” were technically more powerful than the heroes they summoned. Except fiddlesticks

just as an fyi i don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet but the voice actor for fiddlesticks says that even with vocal practise the voice of fiddlestick is very difficult to do and very hard on his voice as it requires talking while inhaling air (normally ppl talk when exhailing) and doing that repeatedly is actually apperantly supper dangerous.

As a fiddlesticks main, i use bandito or fiddle me timber
it's kinda too old to say that i guess... But the thing about fiddle (not clown one) is that he isn't sentient. He is a primalistic demon creature without actual mind but with instinct and hunger... And requires fears to eat.
One of the tools he uses without actual planing to do so - is mimicking the voice of his victims. And also can voice out their fears.
He simply doesn't have his own phrases. The closest thing is calling out names of other demons or kindred's nature.

Star Nemesis Fiddlesticks is great in-game, the effects and sounds. The design is a bit over the top and abstract cause it's inspired by the witches from "Madoka Magica". In the SG universe they're actually a corrupted guardian who turned into a monster, you can see their pet (all guardians have one) locked in a cage.
The current working theory is that Fiddlestix was the 10th creator. We know of the 9 from other world lore, and they are always PAINFULLY clear saying there was only ever 9… but, what if the last creator, the one they wanted us to forget, was the creator of all things that bring terror, pain, and fright… and Fiddlestix is naught but their shadow cast upon the dark of night.

Before Sylas got revealed as a champion, there was a short story on universe about him and his time in the mage seekers as a boy. Vannis is one of the two mage seekers Sylas travelled with. "Her" is a little girl who is a mage and accidentally kills the third mage seeker. Vannis is about to hurt her. Well, things dont work out like that, Sylas is on the run, eventually he gets captured (two mage seekers are dead and hes a mage who fled the scene) and thats how his imprisonment begins.

So fun fact the whole mages comment is due to the event that happened in fossbarrow where a demon was causing people nightmares and this demon was nocturne, ryze's father beat this demon and then ryze had to take up the mantle and ever since then because of this people blamed the carelesness of mages and loads of people hate mages due to this.

I interpret the young mage bit as how the damacians explain Fiddlesticks while working their underlying dislike of mages into the story, kind of blaming them for Fiddlesticks returning essencially saying "without foolish mages we wouldnt have this problem on our hands".

This is a nod to the game Resident Evil 3 Nemesis, where the main bad boy 'Nemesis' that stalks you the entire game will just scream and say 'STARS' (short and bad explanation, he says STARS its because its the name of you special squad and Nemesis is a bioweapon made to kill all members of the STARS squad)
So its actually nothing to do with her story or nothing, that line is a simple developers node to one of the best classic horror games that they probably draw inspiration

I think it's pretty safe to say that Annie is not getting her lore rewritten, the main thing she'd probably get is an art update but almost every bit of lore you find should be the definitive lore that they're going to keep

something to keep in mind, the dates on the skin releases are a bit fraudulent. since it displays the date for the skin of Pre-reworked fiddlesticks, when they were completely remade form the ground up for his rework. every single one improved and totally different.
this applies to several other champions when you check them out. like Dr Mundo / Poppy / Warwick / Swain / Sion / Aatrox / Kayle / Morgana and several others. since League has been out for twelve years now
