I love the historical background to the watches, and the effort you put in to enhance our viewing experience first, and later our possession experience. You are a modest person TGV. It makes you great. Good health to you.
I love the pure educational information you manage to pack into your videos. The history of watches and their use in the real world, especially as tools, is just fascinating. Nice one TGV.
Hey TGV. I just love how exited you get about your watches and straps. When you saw your logo on the watch roll you just beamed! It really made my day to see someone so happy. Thank you for sharing.

What a lovely intro, those kind of watches, born from a collaboration between Breitling and DPW are well known in Italy. DPW used to collaborate with Breitling and Eberhard to create their military collection. A man who was working in DPW during those times founded a new company around 20 years ago, Memphisbelle watches. Memphis Belle is actually supplying several countries for their issued army watches and even Putin wanted a Memphis Belle in his collection. Nowadays they don’t collaborate with anybody and the watches, except for the movement, are completely made in Italy.
I'd like to add to Marco's comment (above) that Memphis Belle watches are built to the military specs they have to comply with, embed several innovations patented by the brand, and are of truly outstanding quality. Given your penchant for watches with a true military heritage, you should definitely take a look, Tristano!
Excellent video, as always my friend! Kind of interesting that the NDC gear was more appropriately packaged than the watch! Love the sweater as well. Congrats on all three! Thanks for the video! Onwards and upwards!
Hearing that excitement from the preparation, generosity and exemplary quality from NDC, and not to mention the personal touch of the Gentry logo just goes to show that when done right opening a product of far less value can command far more importance. Brilliant vid!
Grazie TGV!!! So cool to hear part of your video in italian!! You make me feel proud of my special forces! Great choice, great video, great history... enjoy your watch! Un abbraccio

Relatively new viewer from the UK here, and I am enjoying your channel. First time commentator as well, but thank you for the video and shining a light onto this aspect of 80s and 90s Breitlings. I was genuinely surprised when I stumbled across these when I was looking into purchasing an ex-military, or military homage watch. One of the companies that rebranded and reissued the watches in Italy was DPW, and I am lucky enough to have picked up, in my travels, a Diavoli Rossi 6 Stormo Caccia dialled Navitimer Pluton 3100. From my own, brief, investigation I believe it falls into the category you discussed as one of the watches made available to ex-military personnel with ties to said unit or regiment. The case back is rebranded with DPW, and other than opening it up and looking at the movement the only give away to its horological heritage is the Breitling crown and the unmistakable dial layout. I did not pay very much for it at all as it was quite beat up with a couple of dings to the glass and the PVD coating (sub $400), but it runs well and looks very cool in that retro 80s/90s ana-digi way. I could not bear to leave it, and it has served me well as a “beater” for a while now. I like the look of that Colt, very sharp and clean, and as an automatic version that price is a brilliant find; I hope it serves you well.

Great watch and video as always. These watches are quite common in Italy, the quartz versions are much easier to find. Most of them were distributed by DPW, a company based in Genoa (not far from La Spezia were the Com.Sub.In is based). DPW used to buy watches from Breitling and to sell them in army surplus stores. For this reason sometimes you can find the double markings Breitling-DPW on the casebacks.

Hey, I'd love to see a Hamilton Ventura review. There aren't really any solid ones on youtube. On the other hand, I'm saving up for one and don't want the price to jump up. Maybe hold off until I've got my hands on one, lol. Thanks for really getting me into watches man. We're really cut from the same cloth in many ways. You're a huge role model of mine. Keep up the great work
I love Breitling..... my first watch love ❤️ back then
Smashing piece that TGV! 👍🏻
In your intro, I kept waiting for baby Yoda to pop those “eggs” from your lava lamp into his noggin.
I didn't know COMSUBIN, very interesting story! Amazing content quality as always and wonderful pronunciation! Bravo! 🇮🇹
Mille grazie Riccardo, il tuo commento significa molto per me!
