Great to hear from another watch collector who's also a shooter. I served in the US Marine Corps for three years and the NYS Army National Guard and also served with the NYC Police Dept for a little over 20 years. And I also trained police NYC Police Officers as a firearms instructor. In my time as a police officer we used the S&W M&P Model 10 revolver. Before I retired we had just started training with the Glock 19. That was over 30 years ago. Today I still shoot and attend carbine and pistol courses. Can't get shooting out of my blood. I started collecting watches late in life. Nothing as extravagant as your collection. But, what I can afford. Several Seikos, SKX007, 009, & a 013. A couple of Turtles, a Flightmaster, a Squale and several others. I still have dreams of owning a Rolex. Or maybe even a Panerai. This is a great video.

Ah finally. The Monster makes an appearance. And a very apt one with the nature of the owner. The story with the Panerai was deeply tragic and hard to hear. Coupled with the cancer, Grey's been through a lot just as a person and I hope he remains strong for himself and his children.

Greg reminds me of my father, albeit he has a much more expansive collection than my old man does, but there is a certain sincerity and joy he shows that one can’t help but see on his face when he talks about his experiences, the good and bad. I truly appreciate the vulnerability and honesty about his difficulties with illness, or tragedy in general. Also, this is an incredibly touching reminder of the profound importance that the ministry of presence plays on the lives of people around us. Sometimes that invite to a random party might be so much more than just an invitation to that person, and that a little compassion often goes a long way.
Great content, Teddy. I always like your various lists and informative videos, but these intimate one-on-one conversations are truly what I love about your channel.

This might have been the most beautiful story i have ever heard in the watch industry. It is crazy to see Greg still finds happiness in life and in doing this interview, this shows what a strong and kind hearted soul he is. He sadly has gone through a tragedy no person should ever have to endure, god bless his kids remained unharmed. Greg's wife has left him with a great memory of the time they spend together as a family. To hear what the Panerai community did for Greg is north of exceptional, i was never a Panerai fan or someone who showed interest to Panerai... after this story i will pick up a Panerai in the next few years to remember the day i watched this video. To Greg: From what we saw in the video and hearing about your story there is no doubt you are a wonderful person and a person with great values, i wish you and your family the very best. I hope we could see you again in a longer format interview to hear more about your passion and adventures.

One of the best uploads, Teddy! Really touching stories from Greg! Very heartfelt. This is the very essence of why we watch collectors collect watches. It's for the stories and meaning behind these wonderful timepieces!

I enjoyed this guy and his watch collection. Thanks for letting him do the talking.
Just as cool as the stunt guy who dumped all his watches out of a bag onto the desk
Well done for picking true enthusiasts with nice watches and good stories. Great to everything from citizen to Vacheron

Love this video Teddy. And love this 007’s collection. Every piece has a story. This is the kind of collection I want to see. Not some rich dude showing off his hype pieces without any knowledge of the horological context of the watches

This a beautiful story, very moving. I love the sentiment that behind every watch there is a person. This is why I love watches, they are more than objects, they are extensions of us, the stories we hold and the lives we lead. Thank you Teddy, again, a beautiful episode.

What an incredible guest (and video) Teddy!
I love seeing these collection videos not merely for the "cool collection" factor, but to hear the lived experiences that accompany them. I believe it's less about acquiring the collection, and more about building an incredible legacy to leave behind once you're gone. You're really hitting the nail on the head by allowing people with such rich lives share their stories, because that's what it's all about.
Merry Christmas to you and your family!

All of us watching along and then these stories of Greg's life challenges unfold. The compassion and kindness extended to him in the darkest hours is a testament to those kind people who went out of their way to comfort him. Teddy as always natural and dignified in his delivery. The film confirms that there is hope in humanity still.

This is exactly what makes a great watch collection. Greg had a story for every piece he owns, it's almost as if each watch takes him back to a specific time in his life. You also have to appreciate how he uses these time pieces as tools and how well they've kept up.

I learned about this man and his Panerai story about 4 years ago in a Revolution Watch interview. In fact, that interview played a role in my decision to choose the PAM00372 as my Luminor. While that video focuses mainly into his tragic event and the 372, this is a much more in depth conversation into his collecting journey. The story of how the watch community has helped him through his recent battle with cancer (unknown to me until now) and the loss of his wife is indeed touching and uplifting. Another great one Teddy!!! Happy Holidays from Puerto Rico to you, your family and your team.

All I can say is WOW. I just recently found your channel Teddy and have been following for some time now. You’ve inspired me to buy my first collectors piece and then some. This video is truly incredible. Greg’s stories alone made this video for me and I wish you both the best. Thank you for sharing this with us all. We live in a crazy world nowadays and it’s so refreshing to hear that there are still kind/humble people out there. Especially in the watch community 😎. Take care of yourself and keep the great content coming 🤝
