The 2003 TMNT was the shizzle. I absolutely loved when Mikey casted a fire bolt spell into Shredder's face then promptly exclaimed "Cowamabunga!!".

My eyes rolled back so far I am now permanently blind.
These Turtles went to the Springfield Chili Cookoff and coated their hands and feet with rubber so they could eat the Guatemalan Insanity Peppers.
I could see a series having them wear color coded gloves and boots to stand out from other versions.

I noticed that the bootlegs color wise may have the 2012 turtles as Raph was the darkest and Donnie and Mikey were the lightest in the toys.

You know, it’s kind of amazing. When I saw the thumbnail for this video, I thought, “Huh, those actually look decent.” Then every single detail made them worse. Every. Single. One. Which, for the purpose of this show, probably makes them better.
They were trying so hard to tie all the turtle universes together. They were almost there
Battle Shells were a thing in the 2018 show. Well, just the same title for a weapon, they looked/functioned different. Definitely just a weird coincidence and I'm guessing this thing came out before that, but I'm going to throw that onto the pile of TMNT iterations this strangely represents.

Oddly enough my aunt one time when I was younger colored in one of my TMNT books and gave them matching gloves and shoes but coloring their hands and feet, nice to see other people have that idea and not just Christian radicals 😅

It kinda seems like the bootleggers were looking at the 2012 figures when they made these, just based on the skin tones used. Which is honestly impressive because they normally wouldn't go that effort and bother molding figures of this "quality" in different colored plastic. Also kudos to Donnie's purple hands, feet, and belt... then *pink* bandana lol

You know...many times when you've shown merch on Bootleg Zones I've felt a powerful urge to get the figures for myself, and have on occasion, such as with the 1990 Playmates bootlegs, which were honestly pretty decent figures. I've also been building a Raphael collection, grabbing any toy of him I can find.
This one though........yeah, I think I'm good for a hard pass this time around. I'd rather buy the horrifying bug-eyed Coming Out Of Their Shells Turtles from Neca, or customize an Our Friend Power Five team. Much more deserving of the time and money.

The Ninja Stealth Bike they were originally going to put in was able to go OVERLAND 🎵🎵, but when they switched to just the Turtles, they made them OVERSIZED 🎵🎵 instead.

Likely because they THINK it adds value but it's a super cheap thing to throw in.
Can’t blame them for using the ‘03 versions. That show is still the best (or at least most comic accurate) version of the Turtles.
Except for the lack of mutagen resurrection and the stupid "Krang is Shredder" and all "Krang people is good"... Yeah you are correct, it kept the ultra violence but I attribute it due being in production on the end of the 90s where"not X Men" and "not Resident Evil" where blockbuster movies
